The daughter of the lady who owned a Jack Russel did what all human should do. She knows exactly what kind of breed Jack Russel is, she knows exactly that Missy needs tons of exercises because she has tons of energy to spend and she also knows that she can't provide it. She gave her up for Missy's happiness.

If you love your animals but can't feed or take care of them, than love doesn't matter. You can't live on just love, and are causing them to suffer through neglect and starvation. And Rocky the Staffy so just adorable!!!

People will treat their animals physically as well as they treat themselves. Meaning if they don’t do upkeep and bodily maintenance for themselves, they won’t get care for their pets either. Make sense? Plus, there’s a level of embarrassment to say that you cannot afford your pet any longer. There’s an attachment issue as well aka love. And, there’s plain dumb folks owning animals that they’ve no clue how to care for properly. And there’s some that think they’re doing everything right by the animal. So, lots of factors involved in animal rescues. People that aren’t intimately involved cannot understand. Give people a break for freaks sake! We’ve all struggled financially and emotionally in our lives. Extend some forgiveness to them for their personal issues. And perhaps forgiveness for your humanness will be granted.

@@hoosierbaddy3052 if the law chooses to prosecute them. Idgaf how much “love” they have. They looked at this animal every day knowing it’s starving, suffering, and sick. But you want to give them forgiveness. Then that’s you. I have no sympathy for these abusers. I’ve dealt with plenty of mental health issues over the years. It takes less than 2 minutes to feed a dog or let it outside to the bathroom. If you can’t afford spaying, flea and tick medication, basic grooming care. Then YOU. DONT. NEED. A. PET. they shouldn’t have to suffer just because their owner is going through some shit. If they’re that aware then they need to have enough love for this animal and rehouse it. Forcing an animal to stay in a dirty neglectful situation just because you claim you “love” it it’s disgusting abhorrent behavior and they deserve all the ridicule and consequences they get. These animals didn’t ask to be in this situation and it disgusts me that you’re sympathetic with dog abusers.

@@hoosierbaddy3052 It's not what so called "love" if its caused another living creature suffering. Human blessed as the only one creature on earth that could think before using their emotions, could control many situations and could predict what will happened. If a human can't even take care of themselves, then they should know that they're no longer deserved to keep any pets nor any little humans a.k.a kids. That human should let them living with another trustworthy human who at least can afford their basic needs. Using emotions and using "love" as excuses for neglecting another soul is just another form of selfishness and self entitlement.

listen please, these people that don't seem to have enough money to take care of them may have just had tragedy hit them like lost a family member or a close friend or lost a job, personal illness or family illness. it could be a variety of things of why they didn't take good care of them.. i it seems like they were taking good care of them at some point. I know from personal experience and seeing others go through things. not all people intentionally being self-centered or selfish but things might have gotten overwhelming for them and now it's hard to take care of their animals their pets their loved ones. I'm talking about people who really care and love yes love their pets who consider them to be part of their family. the big problem I have is when you're trying to find somebody to take care or take on your your family member your pet that means so much to you and you don't have any other family member human family member or friend to take them in, its rough and so hard. I know I just don't want to give any of my loving pets my family to anybody and I want to make sure that they stay in touch with me to tell me how they're doing as if they were going to my sister or brother my cousin it's close family friend who would stay in touch with me and tell me how they were doing. to me that matters a lot to my beloved family member ie my pet, goes to someone who will stay in touch with me. so that I can see them my gosh I'm not abandoning them and I know a lot of other people would feel the same way as I have observed. I want to see them again as if, as if I were marrying off my daughter or son and they go away but then they stay in touch or come back and visit. (I know a human daughter or son is a big difference in a lot of ways but heck you know you can be very broken hearted about your beloved animals as well as your beloved human beings leave. you don't want to say goodbye you want to say so long for now and I'll see you soon or talk to you soon on the phone or whatever. -----I know one thing I want my all my pets to be healthy well loved and taking care of and happy, very happy!!!!! 🥰🥰🥰✨💞💞💞💞💞🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾‼️‼️‼️✝️✝️🙏🙏🙏🙏🕊️🕊️🕊️🐈🐈🐈❤️❤️❤️🐈🐈🐈🐈🐈💞

I don't judge people who have to give up their pets but I do think it is wrong when the pet is in bad condition when they decided to sign them over.

... and it tears them apart letting go of them not knowing whether they're going to ever see them again. most of the time a person would see their daughter if they left the house they don't see their son if they left the house and got married or moved away they'd still see them and hear from them usually at least most of the time probably. it tears them apart to not know if they're going to see their beloved pet again their beloved family member again. I can't help but think that the poor animal sometimes might feel somewhat abandoned even if they're going into a loving family wondering where is Mama or Papa??

I do believe the people that had the 5 dogs living in there house the the rspca worker was trying to work with them for 4 month and they didn’t do anything for them I cried so much when the vet was looking over them and said there is no way there going back to them I was so very happy to hear that and to know they had improved an had loving new homes was just incredible how ever to hear right at the end they were only not allowed to have any animals for 3 years I was so angry 😡 in my opinion they should never ever in there life should be allowed to have any pets what so ever after what they put those 5 dog though very very sad 😔 and angry 😡😤 for 🤬 sack

They are really hard to find. They dont go up for adoption often. Poor Guiness belonged to someone who just didn't want to deal with his high energy. It certainly didn't have anything to do with him not being a good dog. Springers are wonderful dogs.

Wow the Jack Russell story with missy ..... this is what all people who dont want the animals for whatever reason should give them over like this , that way people getting missy already know all the love you gave them , the food , the treats , the outfits that make them feel more at home with their wardrobe and food .....I'd be angry if I lost my home all my belongings and out on the street no favorite treats ....... please surrender your animals 20 times fine just surrender please dont harm and or abandon

I've always enjoyed watching Animal Cops, now watching Pets & Vets on RUclips. Love seeing so many neglected and abused animals brought back from the brink and go to loving homes. Shame that the ASPCA here on the eastern shore of Virginia/Maryland, in the US, only has a very small shelter. Just to keep dogs until they are re-homed or euthanized. No vet,no behavior training to help in re- homing. No follow-up checks. Nothing!! There is,apparently, no funding. So sad.

Really sad that people will put their own selfish feelings before their animals feelings 😡 they're not healthy but that woman is more worried about her own feelings!

It is sad that the owners actually threaten that they will " hide their dogs " as opposed to try to work with the RSPCA. Sad. But, way better than how the U.S. deals with it.

One story of this involves a woman with 5 Jack Russells who took on a porcupine. Needless to say they all ended up with their muzzles full of quills. They proudly came prancing into the vet's and stoically had the quills removes with minimal meds. The lady paid the bill and they left, the dogs still proudly prancing. That evening as the vet was about to leave for home, the lady called again. "The porkupine came back and they killed it!" The vet told her to bring them in. When they arrived the dogs pranced in proudly but this time they had to be kicked out as they had quills imbedded in their throats. The lady looking at the second bill, much larger than the first, looked up at her dogs that were just coming to, and said to them, "And just how are you going to pay for this."

FYI: Guinness needs to be wearing a harness, and not a collar. In addition, that cinching the collar hard around the neck to make the dog heel is old school training.

People shouldn't have dogs if they can't afford all the necessary needs. To collect dogs, cats and never feeding them, dealing with parasites is disgusting. Never playing with them, walking them.

Those poor dogs. Hungry and itchy, all the time. 6:05 - Did she call the police and say "Hello, my love"? 33:50 - Tampa Bay Rays. Wow. Rocky's new owners--well, let's just hope he inspires them to get some exercise.

I wish so badly that all countries would give more funding and support for animals, animals rights , checking up like yall do is crucial ...... what yall need is a system like they use for sex offenders that's required to be added and updated ....... if people took this issue seriously and stop acting like others will step up we could really make a difference
