I feel so bad for the older gentleman with the border collies. He might be suffering from depression and possibly dementia. I really think that he loves his dogs but can't keep up with the maintenance. He needs help also and shouldn't be living in that filth. I feel for all concerned. Thank you for saving them.
I have family and friends yet am homeless and living on the streets. Sometimes there is no quick fix and not everyone can help. I never thought in a million years this would be my life yet here I am. I try to be grateful for any and all gifts my creator gives me and just keep trying each day. It's hard to hold my head up and crying because I am truly hungry most days is the worst but I hope and pray better days are ahead of me 🙂
I hope the elderly man was ok. It was probably so hard to lose his dogs and he already seemed unwell. To lose your best friends. I wish they had helped him keep them: bring them to the vet and walks.
Anthony visiting his past rescues, got to love him. Also, I notice that the dogs he rescues, loves him quickly. He has that persona/aura around him that is special.
Allie looks to be in great shape with more years in him. Looks like he is a gentle giant, and he’s found the perfect family. Very happy for Alfie now he is loved.
We have a 14 1/2 year old Labradoodle which had the same issue with her tail it also had to be amputated. She never notices it’s gone. She is still going strong and runs around like a puppy sometimes.
I haven’t had fur babies for decades, and though I’d love one, I don’t think I could manage the maintenance, food and vet costs etc, so I enjoy programs like these
My parents adopted 2 German Shepard's 9 and 10 yrs old that were ceased from a lill old lady (June) due to similar circumstances than the gentleman. June was placed in a nursing home near where we lived and my mum regularly visited June with the dogs. It was the highlight of June's and Rocky and Fifis week. They clearly all loved eachother so much.
I'm so glad that the original owner got some assistance and also that the couple that adopted the pets were able to bring the dogs to see their original "Mum" and enjoy each other's company! How lovely is that???!!!
Don't you mean "cooped up"? " A "coup" is "a sudden, violent, and unlawful seizure of power from a government: 'He was overthrown in an army coup.'" That Charlotte phrases everything as a question, doesn't she? 36:00 - Snips and snails & puppy dogs' tails.
Love Kevin training to be an assistant dogs. He loves gis owner, helping her and his treats. Those poor Border Collies. I felt sorry for the old sheepman but he didn't take care of the dogs, is a drunk, crap and poop all over. Couldn't live like that. Eww Yeah Cassie and Jessie have loving new owners. Yeah Alfie and his vet and hubby, new loving owners. Love these videos and all these DOG RESCUERS are heroes
older dogs have lumps and bumps --- NO THEY DO NOT. Alfie looks like a dog food victim. What do they FEED him?? try giving them human grade food, chicken, even raw, is WAY better than dog food. Be sure to rinse the chicken off before feeding them raw. scramble eggs and make some rice. if you cannot feed an older dog simple human foods like this, YOU SHOULD NOT HAVE A DOG. they are NOT toys. my dogs get fruit every day, love raw carrots and apples and raw meat. they get steamed veggies du jour and whatever plain non-commercial foods I eat.
God bless you save bordercollies, so smart, lovely dogs best in the world
Thank all of you so much!
Thank goodness there will be help for the elderly human as well.

I agree. I think they should try and get him help
@@lolabierlair3219 the police officer told him, he called social services for him, didn't he?
Where is his family? Why do they not call his family? I am glad he is going to get help and the dogs get more productive lives.

@@pamelapenick6871 Jess is not going to get more of a productive life because she is a senior but, she will have a relaxing life.
Omg I wanted to give Alfie/Alphie a hug!
When life happens it has to include your animals! If my dogs can't come, i don't go!!
PERIOOOOODDDD!!!!
Those empty bottles of Bannock Brae and other assorted liquors littering the floor tell me that Cassie and Jess' owner needs some serious help.

That "fetch help" command for the support dogs can be a lifesaver.
Kevin is amazing
imagine having a magnificent dog like Alfie and NEVER brushing that luxurious coat??!! i revel in a good shiny showy coat! wow that person was LAZY!
Gives you faith in people to see them care for animals like this.

Very cool that she still got to see her beloved furrys
that old lady could have taken the dog somewhere for the mats or call someone for help.
Bless you all for fostering, rescuing and adopting these fur babies gifts from the Lord.
Does anybody else find it hilarious that little Boris has a bigger head than giant Alfie.

If you take tail off, you have to leave about 3 vertebrae in the tail
It depends on where the tumor is located.
