I absolutely fell in love with this amazing music theory plugin in the process, where I created Chords and melody-line to a song I really liked in the end. It was like magic!

I already have Scaler2 and it is amazing. It doesn’t matter if you are new to music theory or if you already are fluent in it. Scaler2 is like having a producer side kick in the studio.
I had piano lessons decades ago. I absolutly need this tool for creating chords because I forgot nearly everything about music theory and today copy + paste is my special discipline. Your result is sweet mus, LNA.
Looks like a really helpful tool when you need some inspiration. I'd like to try it to make ambient and cinematic pieces.
The Chord progression reminds me of Lana Del Rey's Video Games!!!! I would like to win Scaler 2 as my music theory isn't good and I currently compose everything by ear, but struggled to make chords... I would want to make Hyperpop (A.G. Cook, SOPHIE, Charli XCX) and Ethereal / synthy stuff (like Grimes). Love your vids!
I've quite often struggle with Creators block when trying to start with chords. Love that pattern option which allows to check few ideas quickly! I mainly produce Indie Pop, Nu Disco and Future Bounce!

Howdy! I absolutely love this plugin. Honestly jumped to one of my favorites a few days after getting it. I use it for really any vibe im feeling. Its a master tool for progressions and they are doing some insane updates in the future. So even if people dont win they should pick this up. Wouldn’t have thought I’d use something like this but this video changed my mind. I compose a mix of ambient and post-rock and this would be helpful.
Love the idea of this plug-in! I own ChordJam which is similar but I don't feel very intuitive and what Scaler 2 looks to provide is so much more of an idea generator and I would look almost excited as you 😄 after building out a base progression and melody to work with! I would use for House, Deep House, Trance genres. Nicely done in 10 minutes and, of course, very lovely new hat style in this one!
This is one of those tools you never knew you needed. I make classical trance remixes now and then and always struggle with the chord progressions. If I don't win this soft, Ill definitely buy it.

I wanna make music out of all those little stems of ideas that’s just sits idle on my phone. Scaler seems like the perfect tool.
There are so many music theory vids out there and having this visual cue for each scale would help so much! I'm thinking I'd try to get down with some crunchy blues riffs

Wow I really want this🤩, I've been put Scaler into my whistlist since 4 years ago and not been able to buy it untill now, due to the "tight budget situation" (having kids & wife to feeds)🙂. I love making musics like pop, future bass, trap, etc. Scaler will be very helpfull since I can't play piano (I play guitar a little bit). If I win, this Christmas will be fantastic🎉🎉🎉😇

I would love to receive Scaler 2. I am an aspiring film scorer and this plug-in would undoubtedly help me throughout my journey. I couldn't afford to buy expensive plug-ins since I am just a student who's just starting out. Would be great to compose film music using scaler 2!

Even though I have an extensive music theory background, this plugin would be great for suggesting new ideas and keep me from getting in a rut of the same chords I always use. Scaler 2 has been on my wishlist for a while. I would use it to make pop because pop rocks!

I started producing music last year in Ableton and after seen this video I think Scaler 2 would be a great tool for me to come forward in my production. It always take so long time for me to find chords that works together and to have this plugin would be fantastic to learn more about music theory. I don´t have a special genre that I do. For the most of the time I find a plugin, or a thing that I want to learn in Ableton, for example to manipulate audio or how the vocoder works etc etc. And then It becomes a random genre track haha.

I would love scaler 2 because one thing I always struggle with in sound making is knowing what notes go into which scale. I’ll end up spending 20 minutes trying to figure out what version of what key my song is going for and by then I’ve lost all inspiration to actually make a song. This tool would help me get over that part of song making and allow me to just make the music I want to make. I’m very inspired by the work Animal Collective creates and would love to try and create music similar to them. They’re pretty hard to genre-ize but the closest I could think would be psychedelia/avant-pop/freak folk. Love all the work you do! You inspire me to launch up ableton everyday

Seems like a cool tool. I’d use this to try my hand at ambient music. Sooo maybe cinematic genre? Either way it would so useful to come up with chord progressions that I otherwise would t have conceived.

I don't know what genre I will explore first with the plugin but I am ready to explore all of them using Scaler 2 since it offers a variety of genres to peep at. Anything is possible.

No, not just for quick messing around. Once you've mastered it, you will find out just how insanely powerful it is and how it will force you to learn music theory and proper chord progression.

I think I could have some fun with this. My theory skills are OK and I enjoy coming up with my own progressions, but this seems like it could be good for jump starting some ideas.
Wow! This could save a lot of time normally spent on puzzling pieces together in composition. I am no theory elf, so some help could be useful!! The genre would be lo-fi, I love making that ❤️

I really like this plugin. I would use it to create chords on the guitar in pop/rock songs. That would be great to create a minimalistic song to help the singer.

Without really knowing music theory it's a pain trying to get the chords in my head into my daw. This would be a huge help. This would be great for so many genres, but I think trance would be at the top for me... or neo soul. I don't know it's just really good!

To be honest, what came out of scaler sounded like my cat walking on the keyboard
one of the best plugin for those who can't play instrument definitely needed 😊
But even for intermediates it can be real helpful. Definitely is in my toolbox.
I'd love this tool. My keyboard skills often limit what I want to play - which means I don't write the song I hear in my head. This looks like the ultimate solution for me. Please!
I would love to win Scaler 2 because it would give me a lot of inspiration when attempting to harmonise against a melody line. I love the idea of taking one melodic line and reharmonising it, having different chord combinations underneath at different parts of a song to keep the interest high. It's difficult to do manually, and this plugin looks perfect! I'd aim to make prog-style songs with it, might even get the guitar involved... :)
If I had scaler 2 it would help me to improve myself in music theory in a fun way! Transposing songs can be really useful for remixes or set lives as well! 😸
I make hip hop beats & scaler 2 would help me to find chords , since I struggle with music theory.
Gotta say, I have a least three "music theory" plug-ins, so I gave Scaler a miss when it came out. But after seeing this, they all have their good points, but Scaler looks the best for composing.
I've read they improved it massively from previous versions. I only started using it recently. It's wonderful for giving you hints on how to modulate to a new key/mode...
With scaler I´ve got the big hope to break my harmony-routines and I would try to compose more jazzy stuff. That´s the genre I prefer.
How about a one minute song challenge next? Jk. I have a plugin called obelisk which allows me to play one note chords but I've wanted to get scaler 2 for awhile now to use as a teaching tool to gain a better understanding of music theory and the relationships between melodies and chord progressions. Also looks like it would help level up my bland basslines. I'd also like to try producing some different genres outside of the melodic hip hop i make. Scaler 2 is a plugin that I have on my wishlist. I would use this plugin to assist me with chords and counter melodies and at the same time assisting me with staying in Key. I would apply Scaler 2 when making R&B a Hip Hop Tracks.

As a beginner I’d find this plug-in incredibly useful. It’d help my workflow and creativity, while also guiding me through music theory. If I was lucky enough to win, I’d create a nu-disco track. My new year resolution is to make 1 track a month so I can monitor my progress throughout 2022.

I always appreciate input and suggestions when composing music but my main creative partner, Rex The Wonderdog, is running short of ideas so Scaler 2 would make us both very happy. I would continue making music in my usual Ambient/Techno/Trance.Dubstep/Jazz/Chill/Metal style.
I want to win the SCALER 2 because I need a fine enhancement on my chord game. Def an impressive predecessor. Not just that the chords and scales available would up my production game, but the ability to preview the chords and scales on guitar is definitely the reason I should sell my kidney for this plug-in. Hi, How can I enter chords into the scaler from my midi keyboard? I don't want to load them from the lists, I just want to play them by ear on midi keyboard. Please help. I know that I can turn on recording in the scaler, and play chords in my daw, but I prefer to put them from the keyboard, not from my daw.

The beauty of Scaler 2 is that once you learn how to use it, you WON'T need it to create your chords. It will essentially teach you music theory and proper chord progressions. 😊

Scaler 2 was on sale last week off od Plugin Boutique for some insane amount off. If you want to learn music theory and chord progression then definitely go pick it up. After learning how to use it you won't need it anymore to come up with your chord progressions.
