Well the initial TikTok was sarcasm because she literally walked in with wild makeup to her job, she was criticizing herself. It’s just a little fun. But I agree it doesn’t read well, the joke doesn’t land when people are over the top glam and anything but demure.
I’ve always thought that what distinguishes an artist from a creator is the ability to have a vision and execute that vision. In a funny way she is like an artist in that way. Her videos come together to form a specific idea. And I think that’s what ultimately resonated with people. Once you understand the idea, you want to expand on it.

i think the trend makes a lot of funny wholesome videos (not the one posted by celebrities tho), i actually love it as english is my second language, learning the meaning of the word from this silly trend short video is just so much fun hahahaha
