    Still here. Looking for ideas on building my '07 RX8. You can thank Colette for putting me onto your channel. This is the first time I have seen such an in-depth video regarding headlights AND it was great because you didn't time lapse anything. I would rather sit through an hour long video and get every single angle and shot and all the real unedited content covering all the little details or roadblocks one would face when doing a project like this themselves (me). So thank you.

    It's funny. In another video you talk about all the "don't" when rebuilding headlights and almost immediately after watching a few videos from other sources I'm there like....FlyRyde said not to do that.
    I'm a DIYer simply because I don't have the money to throw at my daily driver. I try to do all the maintenance on it myself (dad's a mechanic so he handles the more technical problems) and I was looking for a way to give the car some more life. A headlight rebuild would be perfect so...I'm still here mate. Simply an amazing tutorial.

    I am still here. I'm trying to learn more about customization of headlights. But if I can be 100% honest, I don't plan on making a company or anything like that. It's kinda like a one time thing for me. Maybe a second set down the road but I honestly rather just pay for my lights to get done. I'd say 9/10th for me saying that is I don't trust myself with the expensive set of headlights that I actually want to customize. It is extremely interesting and I watch your videos when they come up in my feed. And if I knew enough people who would want customization of lights I'd definitely hit up a junkyard and just do some experiments with junk lights to get good.
    In my case I find it more beneficial to just pay the price an expert like you would charge, and know I have nothing to worry about and have flawless customized lights.

    Still here! Interested in how the wiring goes. I know you said plug and play but I'm wondering how it knows the low beams are on like how to you hook up that wire. Also how do you tell which wire to hook up to

    • @flyryde
      @flyryde  5 лет назад

      0SimpleSam did you watch the part where I wired all that up?

    • @0SimpleSam
      @0SimpleSam 5 лет назад

      @@flyryde Yes, you said you put the white wire out the bottom for later to connect to the low beam. Couldn't tell where to connect it to by the vide at least, couldn't see under the light if that's where you connect it
