It's a good-looking minivan. But Honda should have done more on the 2nd facelift. All exterior lights should be LED on the Touring and Elite. Elite needs a HUD and 360-view camera. And maybe give it the new V6 from the Pilot.
@@jul5385 this chassis is still based on the 2018 platform. Once they upgrade to a new chassis I can see them adding more features
LED highlights are nice but otherwise it really doesn't matter. I have no problems seeing regular tail lights and turn signals and they are far cheaper to repair. There are tons of things that matter more in a car (like cargo space, ride, passenger space, seat comfort, HVAC performance, noise levels, reliability, acceleration fuel economy, ergonomics, controls, interior materials etc, etc) The 360 camera really should be on it though. Those are awesome and Honda has that technology in its stable and puts it on the Pilot and many Acura products. HUDs are overrated speaking as someone who has a HUD.

They easily could have added these options and cheaped out….

The 2025 model is based on the 2018 generation. I’m sure for 2026 we will get a redesign like the 2023 Pilot

Im fine with no AWD or hybrid option, but I expected a whole new look and such. It doesn't look bad, but it looks outdated and lazy.
You will need to hold off until the 2026 model. Honda does not alter their designs as frequently as others do.

we went to two dealers and for the most part the salesmen were pretty clueless. they had to look on their phones to check things out (which i understand somewhat) but there was so much confusion amongst the salesperson and the manager. i already own an older odyssey so am familiar... but i just walked away sooooo frustrated w/their lack of knowledge. i had already watched a load of vids on the 24 and 25.... and dude you are simply the BEST.
but i have a question,... just to make sure (models do dif things) does the touring or the elite allow you to removed all the 2nd row seats?
again, you have done such a great job.... wish i could buy our car from you... you deserve the commission big time ;-)

I appreciate your kind words. Yes, I do hear that a lot about buyers learning more from my videos then their sales person. You can remove every seat in the second row on all models.
@@ShakeemWalkaround thank you for your answer. btw and just an FYI for those who care (which i do) the van also (maybe they did this in earlier years) but they also took away the ceiling/over the head AC vents and put them on the sides. i personally HATE that. the ceilings were so much easier to adjust for everyone.
oh and both salespeople didn't have a clue re that there was NO LONGER a DVD player in the 2025. you have to do higher tech to attach the stick or whatever (i am not high tech) we will use an old DVD player around the headrest. it was the pits to learn they removed that. i don't think that many people know/understand that the DVD player was removed since it is marketed as "entertainment center" crapola.
we have a spec needs kid and that DVD like we have in our current van was one of the reasons we bought it... he cant push buttons etc re w./this new tech. so folks need to know (like YOU brought up) that there is no entertainment center like the old stuff unless you sign up for something like streaming or makeshift something. ugh.

I'm loved minivans and this is my van to buy.
Great vehicle and mediocre upgrade. Most thoughtfully designed interior in the class and a great powertrain. Really wish they'd added a 360 camera. Once you've had one of those, you never want to go back and other competitors have that. Also wish they had more than one bright color. Also wish they'd done something to address IIHS test. This also needs a hybrid.
This model is still based on the 2018 chassis. Honda will probably add the same 360-degree camera as the pilot once they redesign.

Damn I can’t believe there’s no redesign for 2025. Looks like I’ll have to get a sienna. I can’t spend $45k on a “brand new” 7 year old vehicle.

Man I thought Honda was going to at least offer an Hybrid Odyssey model for the 2025. The Odyssey can be a bit thirty. Maybe next year Honda will offer the an Hybrid model.

I wish the brown looked like the configurator. In reality, it's a weird two-tone that looks horrible.
I thought the two tone was only for the Elite. I was unaware that the touring also featured two tones instead of just brown.

It usually takes Honda a few years to redesign a model. Everybody is used to other automakers regularly changing their car designs.

Either through HDMI port, The odysseys built wifi, or smart phone. You can still plug in a blu ray player
