Yeah, ice nine kills didn’t play and ffdp was cut short. Never heard of them really but five finger death punch was great. Wish I saw pantera and Wolfgang vanhalens band but it’s alright!
I was pissed that FFDP was so short and then there was like a 45 minute break between them and Metallica. The show was still awesome but they are my 2 favorite bands.

As much as I love For Whom The Bell Tolls, I'd love it if they would replace it with Ride The Lightning. I hate to say this but Metallica has now become like AC/DC, AEROSMITH and KISS in it that they keep on using the same songs, ignoring the great song catalog they have.
Saw Metallica in Milton Keynes around 1998 and they were great then. If Rammstein ever tour America again you should go. Hell, buy a ticket for a European concert, it would be about the same price as Metallica.

I did this with my Girlfriend at Iron Maiden last weekend, floor tickets and all, and by the end of the night she got in the pit and loved every second
This was me last year lol on Aug 4, 2023 I think I knew like 2 songs lol I also had plans to go to this concert in Boston but stuff happened and I couldn't go. I went to Tennessee for 6 days and my return flight was supposed to be on Aug 3, 2024 but it got cancelled to Aug 4 so even if I wanted to go I couldn't. I'm from New York so its about a 4 hour drive to Boston.

I am 50 years old and after so many years listening to Metallica I can say that they are not what they used to be. The first time I heard Metallica was in 1984 with the album "Ride the Lightning", my favorite album is "And Justice for all..." from 1988 and I think that those who have known Metallica for years already know what I mean. After this album Metallica began a gradual transition that made them become what they are today, in a few words they became more commercial. I went to see them live in 1999 and in 2010 when they came to my country. Only the old school will understand me.
I was definitely born in the wrong generation. Old Metallica is definitely superior to the newer stuff. They are the whole reason I started playing bass.
In 1983 my best friend Gary bought KEA and I was soon hooked. I still am and saw them two weeks ago. They still rock for 60 year olds. Metallica Family For Life.

They dumbed down their music for a more accessible fanbase. (see video above) Metallica is no longer a band, they're a brand mass marketing shit and that's why all their peers from the bay area have been stomping them into the ground.
