What are your thoughts on their answers? What are your first imressions of Kuala Lumpur?
Next video ask. Apa yang kurang baik bagitahu sahaja jangan malu, Malaysia People mahu belajar dari kesilapan.
Yes, ask them the negative aspects too even controversial issues. So things can be improved in the future.
Wrll said, but to be fair, I did ask about people's dislikes. Nobody seems to have anything bad to say 😅
Very encouraging views from d tourists. I think KL is a beautiful green city n d city skyline is even more beautiful at night time.
@@Livingabroadalex come to Malaysia and eat sushi ??? Hahahha 🤣😂
Most of tourists , they love Malaysia bc of calm greenery not too crowded. Thanks for introducing Malaysia.
My pleasure!!
This make Malaysia the most visited country in South East Asia with 26 million visitors from January to October 2023...thank you for the interview about Malaysia
KL is changing for the better at a rapid pace. Forget 10 years, 2-3 years you will see things improved so fast
Because
1-malaysia has a close connection to big country powerhouses like Japan, america,British, china, turkey, south Korea and Saudi Arabias so Malaysia has many supports from other countries to achieve better equiment and better workers to achieve better building and the other things
2-malaysia is a Muslim countries so many varieties of halal food
3- Malaysia train station is a lot more advance than many western countries
4-malaysia biodiversity is some of the best in Asia(under Indonesia atleast)
And the traffic is getting worse too
@@zahar_afiq4309 yeah hahaha
Now is the best time to come I see
I'm a Malaysian based in KL and I found Kuching Sarawak is the most cleanest and organized city in entire Malaysia.
Oh very interesting 👌
I'm from borneo, as a malaysian it self when i travel to kl for the first time in 2012.. my first impression are.. the road is amazing, highways, train, tall building, clean and people are so into their career and confident.. that's what makes me feel proud of my own country.
Wow! Thank you for sharing your experience 😊
I travel in Sabah...im shock because both side of busy highway full of garbages..
Haven't you noticed the garbage on the shoulders of the roads..!? The city needs to get their act together.

Last year I went to Malaysia. It’s so beautiful. I love it there. Want to go again
Excellent video Alex, Malaysia beautiful country and the food is great. Plus it's very modern as well organised and clean.
Yes for sure!
Do you spend most of your time living a quality life or playing? If living, you can be in KL but travel to BKK sometimes. Do note that AirAsia global hub is based in KL.
It is NOT clean..! The shoulders of the roads are littered with garbage..!!
I have been here in KL since December last year actually I have never seen something that disappoints me at all. Malaysia is not only beautiful, but the people of Malaysia are also amazing, they are nice open face people you will never seen Malaysian face to Dislike ... wow I am doing my master's degree in Malaysia sure I hope I will do second Master after finishing the first one
Malaysia is Muslim country
@@human-wd8pg I know I am Muslim too bro.

Malaysia amazingly beautiful. One of the best place to live and travel in the world.
Yes! It truly is 😍
Malaysia is very pleasant, and the city of kuala lumpur is very much missed to go abroad. and the city is very advanced and very modern. missing the city of kuala lumpur is common. Greetings from Medan - Indonesia. Let's also Visit Indonesia.👍👍😍😘😍
I agree! I've been to Idonesia and made some videos. Take a look on the channel
Thank you for the nice comment about Malaysia. Welcome to Malaysia, enjoy the food, touring around, the stay and the hot sunny weather.

*WELCOME TO MALAYSIA ENJOYED... 🇲🇾❤️🧡💛💕🏆👍🤝💛🧡❤️🇲🇾*
Not many travelers know that there is a domestic airport near Kuala Lumpur, which is Subang Airport, which is about 20 minutes from Kuala Lumpur. In addition to domestic flights, this airport provides flights to Singapore and Singapore to Kuala Lumpur. But it did not land at Changi Airport but instead at Seletar Airport near the border of Johor Bahru, Malaysia or Woodland Singapore.
Oh I had no idea 😳
👌🤝👏👏🥳
Thank you Alex for sharing the thoughts of the visitors visiting Malaysia. Well, I agree with most of the questions you ask. As you are new to the country too, I hope you are having an amazing time in Malaysia. Try as much local dishes as you can because it’s very good. By the way, the lady was trying to say the Nasi Lemak, which is considered the national dish of Malaysia. Well, enjoy, take care and stay safe. Cheers from HK
Thank you J P! Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts 😊
Thank you for this video. I think Kuala Lumpur is definitely an underrated city on a global scale and doesn’t have the recognition and exposure it deserves. I agree the city is very comparable to cities in developed countries. Actually parts of Kuala Lumpur seen through your videos resemble parts of Honolulu especially the blue colored high rise condos and buildings.
I've always wanted to visit Honolulu! Maybe one day 😊
My mom said Penang reminds her a lot of Hawaii... 😄
One wouldn't call Malaysia disorganised after they've travelled to the other SEA countries. Lol!😅
Agree with u👍👍👍
Yea I agree
Still disorganize 😂😂😂
@@nadzrinpuad1283 noticed you are from Indonesia, no doubt about it..😁
5:00 Bijan Restaurant is a high end Malay restaurant. The rendang is superb. Not sure if they still have it on the menu… the durian and chocolate dessert is [imho] to die for. Me being a durian lover, that is. Passing by I think they had a bit of reno done.
After that, head over down the road for some drinkies or walk across the road to Picolla.
Awesome tip!
🇲🇾 Malaysia look beautiful country nice place
Thank you for great sharing my friend
Greatting from Macau 🇲🇴
Glad tou enjoyed the video! It's a wonderful place!
When I first came to Kuala Lumpur, it's like a mix of Jakarta, Manila, Bangkok and a little bit of Singapore. I am also glad to see lots of Bangladeshis and Rohingyas.
Majority of them are illegal immigrants..
Ohh ..they are your family??those banglas and rohingyas??
@@AliminPerak we are closely related because we are creation of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala (SWT).
@@kaygee7848 just you though. We are not related to those bangladeshi and rohingyas
Do you spend most of your time living a quality life or playing? If quality living is more important, you can be in KL but travel to BKK sometimes. Do note that AirAsia global hub is based in KL.
Good job bro..✌🏻😎
All the answers were good and acceptable. It would be better if you could give a few recommendations about our local famous foods and famous tourist spot near around at least to them you have interviewed.
Keep going with your channel bro..and keep exploring as well.
😀👍🏻🇲🇾
Thank you so much !!🤝🥳
Thanks you promote my country bro.

"NASI LEMAK" national dish for MALAYSIA...
I have to try it!
Airports being far from city center, well, thats just common sense. If you have ample land for it, thats what you're supposed to do. Air and noise pollution among other things. Originally the international airport is in a different place but they build a bigger one to accommodate KL as the international hub for travel in SEA. The old one is still in use BTW, its called Subang Airport. One of the reasons why they build a bigger airport elsewhere is due to protest from local Subang residents.
Very good interviews Alex these people really like Malaysia and have even been to other countries before the weather the sight the food it's all good. Oh Alex there is and indoor amusement park inside one of the malls there in Malaysia I'm not sure where it's located but maybe you and Palm can stop by there sometime and go on some rides. Take care 🙋♂🙋♂👍👍🆒🆒
Thanks!! Nice new profile picture by the way 👌 we won't have time to check it out but good to know it's there 😀
@@Livingabroadalex Thanks 👍😎
@@Hicks-g1m I guess the indoor theme park you mentioned is the one at Berjaya Times Square.
The reason the airport is far from the airport is because of the aviation height and the project master plan for KLIA Aeropolis' future as an aviation hub (cargo and maintenance). Kuala Lumpur is hilly and has many supertall buildings (over 400 m) plus one megatall building (600 m), and a few more are planned for future construction. KL doesn't have enough flat land to build an airport that follows aviation safety guidelines. The nearest is the old, small Subang airport that is still in use for local routes and international military. It can no longer afford to cater to this big flow of arrivals and departures. Malaysia is a low-cost commercial airline hub for southeast Asia for companies like Air Asia and many other low-cost airlines. so gov build KLIA 2 dedicated to this. KLIA-1 is for the top airline from around the world.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts!
KL City I would say, stays ONE of the best cities in this region of South East Asia. I have been to many big cities, but nothing compares to the humbleness of the city! KL is a city, yet it is not suffocating, KL is a city, yet the air is cleaner compared to most cities, KL is a city yet we are not too 'rat-raced' compared to some Asian or ASEAN cities, KL is a city, yet there are lots of greenery, KL is a city yet we maintain the old KL city as our heritage essence, KL is city, yet we have still time to throw our smiles to strangers on the streets, KL is a city FULL of excitement though KL City is underrated (we do not mind, we like to give surprises to visitors when they set foot in the city! 😃) . KL City is a DRAGON BALL, KL City is HIDDEN GEM among the cities in the world! One MUST come and get a taste of Malaysia Truly Asia!!!!! Cheers!😉 Good job Alex! Enjoyed your video!
Well said! I absolutely agree 😊
@@Livingabroadalex Thank you Alex! Glad you adore our country :))))
It's my pleasure 😊
KL is a very nice city. The diversity of the culture and food is wonderful. I have spent more time in East Malaysia, Tawau the most and Kota Kinabalu , which seems like a really nice place to live.
Satwica from Australia is saying Nasi Lemak. Nasi Lemak is the national dish. Recommends going to Nasi Lemak Wanjo in Kampung Baru for nasi lemak.
I have to try it!!
Village Park is another place for a good nasi lemak.
Thanks for sharing this wonderful video n for showing your interviews with d some foreign tourists in KL.
Tha k you for watching 😊
@@Livingabroadalex Thank u. I like d Spanish n Mexican couple. I also like d lady from Australia. 😄
Yea they were all nice!
@@Livingabroadalex Wonderful. 😄
Fun video to watch. Most were initially just transiting but later on fell in love and planned to come back.
Yes! Glad you liked it
We're devoloping fast. It's not westernized it's just developing.
As a local I also don't like how far the airport is from the city. My hometown is JB, I'd be spending about the same time on a bus compared to flying there (including travelling to the airport, wait time etc). Also the bus is more comfortable and cheap.
Thanks for sharing 🥳👏
European city??? 😂 how so? Most European cities are flat!
Europe don't have a lot of skyscrapers.
Frankfurt Germany is a modern city with a lot of skyscrapers
Perhaps you need to travel more.
Emotional damage...
Haha
Many tourists ( except Koreans) find West Malaysian food ( except Cha Kuay Tiaw) too spicy. East Malaysia food E.g Kolo Mee, Tomato Kuay Tiaw and Mee Sapi are perhaps more suitable for the European palate.
Good thing I like spicy food 😋
David Leong… most vloggers don’t make long trips to EM. Most prefer to visit Sabah. If they do… you can count with your fingers the number of time they feature indigenous food. I still think the best one who featured Sarawak is Beer and Breakfast.
@@bungaialoevera : Sarawak is the secret location. Most undisclosed city in Malaysia.
I think Sepang need to be developed so that city town centre will be nearby to KLIA airport....like airport in UK or france..very closed to city centre...im not surr why sepang yet to develope rapidly...maybe it's in the planning
Thanks for sharing your thoughts!
Developing...but at a slow speed
Great interviews

Well..... My first impression of New york and London? Not bad. Pretty modern and it's like a modern Asian city.
Haha good one
oh the airport one. Agreed! We've dedicated rail lines going through KL city centre - KLIA though but it will still take time and some hassle to arrive to KLIA so you need to plan out your time
I love Malaysia ❤🇲🇾
Me too!!
7:52 the local dish is called Nasi Lemak (Coconut Milk Rice).
Has anyone experienced Kulalumpur Taxi? They are very rude and never open the taxi meter. Every time ask for different prices for the same destination. Otherwise, all are perfect.
Only use taxis for nearby places, otherwise grab is the way to go!
Love NZ Curry House! Perfect spot for mamak food in the heart of KL! Their nasi kandar, naan and tandoori is to die for! 🔥♥️🤤
Yay!!
If u think NZ is great, there are more places that are at least 3X better in KL, hood luck, KL is a food heaven
I can't wait to find them
I enjoyed everything about KL except the heat and humidity. It is extremely hot n sweaty 24/7.
I visited with the hope of spending a part of my year there but the heat drove me our. Everything else is beautiful.
I have been to various big c8ty in Europe but nothing like Malaysia . New York or United States major City is more like it
Malaysian here🙌🏾
Thank for promote my country to all..i am pretty appreciate that

My first impression of malaysia is, it's pretty similar to bangladesh because the people looks like bangladeshi and indians , maybe because of malay girls love to marry bangladesi man🇲🇾🇧🇩
Interesting content. Keep up the good work
Thank you!!! I'm glad you enjoyed it 😊
There's no modern European city. All modern cities are in Asia 🎉🎉🎉

I hope there's a video to review international food but locally made like Beard's Brothers, the taco stall at Setia Alam
Nasi Lemak dear..it's yummy
Tq bro
I don't know if European cities are more advanced than Asian cities in the first place.
Depend on which side of Europe. The western Europe cities are very advanced even though they prefer not to have any high-rise or skyscrapers.
Of course, it is hard for any cities, anywhere, to be more advanced than Tokyo or Seoul.
Cool. Never met a Mauritian before.
Me either
Very nice interviews
Thank you!
Maybe I didnt go KL for a long time. Didnt remember the place is clean and quiet. Anyway, if it is too good, I dont feel at home
Mr. Alex , are you moving to Malaysia now? It looks pretty cool. I’m gonna have to try that once I get over to the Philippines.
Yes for now. I'm not sure how long I'll stay here
You can take a flight from Subang airport to Seletar airport to go Singapore.
agreed all the tourists said except 3:39 EPL is best league in the world not La Liga which is a 2 teams league, RM n Barca..😃
good vibess
Wakanda of asia
“westernise european cities”? c’mon, what an insult to KL. europen cities like Paris and Belgium? dirty and disgusting? no please. Lets KL be unique as KL. Dont insult us anymore by comparing us with so called westernised european cities
People love to hear positive comments about their country so youtubers or tik tokers will edit out most of the the negative comments to get more likes and subscribers.
That's sad.the only thing I edited out from these videos was me pausing, repeating myself, or stalling to think of my next question since all of this is improvised. I do this to not bore the viewer not to "edit out negative comments." Feel free to send me your email, and I'll send you all the raw footage.
@@Livingabroadalex Well bro, on the contrary I didn't notice any insincerity at all on your part. Your video is just amazing. Keep it up. And just ignore any uncalled remarks. 😏

I don't know when last time I pronounce Kuala Lumpur till I find this video....we always said KL...😅
Oh haha.now we know too 🤭
Don't be joking Euro never got any modern city. There are all over 2/3 hundreds years old cities and architectures my friends.

As with anywhere else in the world, it really depends where you are in the city. Have you ever wondered where that person who served you McDonald's lives? Generally alot has improved, but so has the divide.
Yes very true.

😅
Europe is far behind by now, KL is a modern develop city. Europe is still looks like it was 50yrs ago.
I think give it another 2-3 years, KL may overtake typically top 5 Asian cities like Hong Kong, Tokyo. KL is kindda in the top 7/8 in Asian rankings now.
