you did that while holding the camera and on grass/dirt!! I have a Boomer 40 and been contemplating taking my loader but haven't because everyone recommends a good level concrete or asphalt driveway / parking area. I think without the loader it would make for a much smoother ride when mowing. Might have to give it a try. Nice video! thanks!
Back when I was a mechanic for John Deere I used to do all the set ups for new tractors and equipment. Installed a bunch of loaders. Easier to unhook if you have a level pad to set the loader on. A very good video Chris and liked that you recommended letting the pressure off the hoses. I think NH could have done a better job with the pins. Looks like a lot of stuff in the way when trying to pull them.
I looked this up because doing a service on them is nigh impossible with the loader on. My 1st service on mine I was wanting so badly to strangle the engineers who came up the ridiculousness.
I need to play around more with the loader now that I see removing the big pins shouldn’t require a Herculean effort. How do you like the visibility for mowing with the loader removed?
Be careful with the cutter when your turnning corners with the cutter directly behind tractor. Your back tires will hit the side of the hitch arm. Also make sure your hitch arms are all the way up. I had my arms down and broke a release pin thing on top of one of my arms that alows you to extend the hitch ball out. Cutting corners takes a little getting used to. Other than that they are awsome cutters. I did have to buy a 1,000$ upgrade for my hydrolics so I could have a second remote with float feature but I love how the cutter works. Also like the ability to swing cutter back behind tractor to avoid obsticals like the power pole I have in one of my fields.
Funny you mention all that. I have already finished cutting with it and I learned everything you mentioned the hard way. Luckily I had my three point arms all the way up so it didn’t contact the pto shaft. I did rub the tire on the cutter hitch a few time but it didn’t bind it up to bad. Thanks for the heads up
I made my last cut of the year on my 10acr brahmuda patch this past Wednesday. I call it my birthday hay cuz I cut it and considered that my birthday party lol. Im bailin it up today wootwoot.
Its for a third function remote valve. Its an option you can add if you need to run additional hydraulics on the front of your loader for things like grapples or square bale accumulators that mount on the front of your loader.
Like always thank you for taking the time to do these videos its much appreciated .....from Southern Ontario, Canada

The visibility is awesome! In this next video I’m putting out hopefully today I show how nice it is.
CenTex Ag switching subjects....with the nights getting longer, have you switched any of your lighting over to LED or do you run stock lightings?
No not yet but it will be a must do here pretty quick.

Hi, is that a skidsteer style bucket attach?
Yes
What does the red/orange button do on the front of the loader joystick? I’ve got one and haven’t figured out it’s purpose yet.
Should be the diverter valve if you had one installed to have a squeezer or a grapple.
