    Great video, had the same problem on my 2012 T4.75. Saved a bunch of money not having to have service call. It acted wierd, would not shut off, but setting over nite would disingage, next day turn key on and off and would start. Did this for about 3 days, sure enough the cable had slipped out. The sleeve was rotated in a position that bolts were hard to get to. Thanks

    Just a note here that I discovered today on the 3 pt hitch speed being excessively slow. I tried the adjustment on the block under the cab and got no results. After talking to my local service man on the phone he had me check the cable from the liftomatic switch to the 3 pt control near the right fender and right 3 pt arm. He told me they regular stretch out and need to be shortened even on relatively new tractors. I pulled on the cable and boom, the hitch immediately dropped at a normal speed. I'll be shortening it tomorrow!

    Thank you, thank you, thank you for posting this video! My WM75, after only 60 hours use would not start. Troubleshooting showed the PTO was staying engaged while the lever was in the off position.Your video identified the EXACT same problem on my WM75. The sleeve was disconnected. #4 Allen wrench and 10 minutes later and the tractor started right up. Not a good design of the sleeve at all! I will get a clamp to hold it on better. Without this video, Lord knows what all I would be checking and testing to try to find the problem.

    I have a 2019 Case Farmall 75A that other than the color is the same tractor. Thanks for the PTO advice and the three point lift lowering speed control adjustment. What I've done in the past is push in on the three point auto button/switch and it lowers a little faster with lighter attachments. It helps.

    Thank you again for making these videos. This one in particular is exactly what I needed to know how to fix my PTO engagement line. My sleeve is off to the side, and I couldn't tell if they were screws or allen head bolts. Thank you for specifying a #4. This has been extremely helpful. Thank you very much!

I may get up there and put some threadlocker on thosebolts/nuts when I do my 50 hour maintenance. Thanks for all the NAPA filter numbers too. I made a cross matrix today with NH/WIX/Baldwin numbers to price compare for the future.

    Had the same issue with my WM75. Dealer picked it up and tightened it up. Six hours of mowing later, same issue, would not disengage. Dealer picked it up, said it was still tight, could not duplicate the problem at the shop, said it started right up. Will be out mowing again this evening to see if all is well.

      I didn’t mention this in the video but when I slid the collar back on the pto valve, I tested the lever without tightening the cable side of the sleeve. The pto did not disengage/engage properly until it was tight. Not saying the dealer is wrong, just my experience.

      @@CenTexAg Back to the dealer. Would not disengage again after mowing for several hours. When it cooled off the next morning it disengaged and started. Four Brothers contacted NH Support and they told them what to check. They just picked it up so maybe I will have it back before long.

    I have a 2014 T4.85 New Holland and the problem I’m having is I can lift the arms with the “draft” lever. I was wondering if you think the “linkage” to the position lever and the hydraulic lever at the back of the tractor could have been “stretched”? I can see the linkage from the back of the tractor and I can raise and lower the arms by moving this linkage but when I climb back in the tractor the position lever doesn’t raise or lower the arms. Great video and information!!

    I have the same issue with my 21 NH 55 Workmaster, I have a question about how to reinstall the aluminum sleeve, once the allen bolts are loosened, where should the manual lever inside the cab be in ? The stop or off position or the on-engage position ? I reinstalled the sleeve on my tractor in the engaged position as it was the only way it would go back on that collar, however that resulted in the manual lever inside extremely tight and still not operating the engage or disengage of the PTO. I feel like it is an easy fix but I would like to know that starting process before I reinstall it again to make sure I do it correctly. Should I pull the cable like you did in the video or push it in manually without using the lever inside the cab ?

    This Turkish trash tractor pto cable sleeve is positioned from the factory to be tightened from above the fuel tank, very unacceptable. Rotating it to be accessible from below is definitely the way to go.

    I just purchased a new workmaster 75. I can't figure out how to lower the arms without using the lift omatic. My dealer looked at it and said that is the only way. Does yours do the same or can you lower without using the lift omatic

    • @CenTexAg
      @CenTexAg  3 года назад

      No it should lower with out using the lift O Matic. You need to try adjusting the 3 point rate control. Mine was extremely slow when using the lever but fast with the lift o matic. Once I adjusted the rate it made the lever move equally fast.
