the 124019 featured in this video has had the droop screw mod done i have covered this on the channel: 3 recommended things to do video. which lets you adjust the suspension travel and ground clearance etc

@@beyondRC Thanks sir.
Hey. Awesome review, however now I have a conundrum. I'm new (old) to RC. Bought a HBX 16889, which I love, however it does breakdown a little. I am thinking about the 144001 although it will anger my wife some. Will I notice a huge difference over the 16889?
Yes you will the WLTOYS is essentially a copy of the LC RACING EMB-1 which is a proper hobby grade RC compared to the 16889 being in-between hobby grade / toy grade! I would say it would be an amazing move but i have a lot of love for the HBX 16889
Could you specify how long in mm/cm the wheelbase for 144001 vs 124019?
4.5cm / 45mm
@@beyondRC put a ruler 📏 to both chassis man... wheelbase front to rear axle-axle, and track width. These measurements are important to anyone retrofitting them to other bodys.
could you please don't use those numbers, can you just say purple and green buggy, I'm already confused... Thanks
Well the "green" one also has a red variant. Just remember that the first 2 numbers are the scale. 1/14 1/12. They use the last 2 numbers, idk tho about the rest of the numbers.
Got thermal paste under your 124019 motor ? :-)
Not on mine i thought this was something all of them had...
Is that desk high up or are u like 5.2😂
Two questions:
I wanted to ask bf buying 124019 if they’d done the same.
First question: can I run a 2s lipo in the stock setup?
transmi-er, me-er, stabili-e
hahaha loved this comment!
Bot r really gud MuDdELs ( models )
guys 699 ikes funie number
124019 is fragile as shit. Youl be fixing it all the time. It's fast but brittle. Get 12429 or 8. Much more durable.
woah boah
You said"doodoo" hahardeeharhar ha
Great RC, UNTIL you need parts shipped and have to wait weeks, bc you LHS doesnt stock this chyneeze crap...
Yeah but for the price of maybe 3 brand name rc replacement parts you can buy a box full of upgrades or a whole bunch of replacement parts for the China toys
@@thizzobishi no not really, those chinese parts are not much cheaper, and if your trying to save 3 dollars here and there...well then lmao, you are in the wrong hobby. You are just trying to justify the junk, toy grade models. That's like saying for the price of one American pickup, I could've bought 4 yugos back in the day...yeah? Well where are all those yugos now? Exactly...
@@timsgta I know I can either put 500 in a slash or 200 in a Chinese toy an have the same fun so I mean if that's justification so be it. Even drift cars 500 plus for a nice kit then upgrades or 175 for a alloy carbon china chassis with 250 worth of electronics that wont feel no diffrent to me then some yokomo. Unless your argument is buy american I'm not seeing it.
@@thizzobishi have the same fun until it breaks, and a slash is a poor comparison...Traxxas...really?!?
Examples:
Once upon a time I thought it'd be a good idea to buy Kia, we had two news ones in 04 and 05, and before you say it, yes we thought our kias' were so nice and all that, just like kia owners think now...well three years into ownership, that all changed. Worst cars we ever bought, so I thought wow the 2009 models are looking good, they're better now...nooooope...fooled us again. So go ahead spend less money on chinese junk, you'll learn your lesson one day. Like my wife tried to cheap out and save money at the grocery store, buying cheap thrash bags...that only happened once lol...you get what you pay for...period, end of story.
@@timsgta poor poor example I had a kia sportage stick in high school dogged it never let me down till the day I let it go.
Very current example I'm looking for a 1/8 electric truggy just for fun.
Spend 650 on a tlr kit that I still have to buy 400 bucks in running gear or get a zd racing one for 420 ready to run.
Arrma EB kraton 480 plus again 400 in electronics
Or 420 rtr zd racing maybe switch tires.........hmmmmm
Weren't you tired of pronouncing the full names of these cars ?
na not really
