That 80s Drums Sound - Gated Compression

Little sneak peek from a session I worked on the other day.
It was a song in the style of the well-known Peter Gabriel/Phil Collins sound you can hear on e.g. Intruder, In The Air Tonight, Another Day In Paradise etc.
The producer wanted a short drum overdub at the end of the song (just like the songs I mentioned above)
This now is the mix, as I think it would sound in the end.
