Calzones (Sausage, Spinach & Provolone and Italian Cold cuts)

  • Today we show you how easy it is to make your own homemade Calzone
    Ingredients for sausage
    8 italian sweet sausage ( baked or pan seared )
    1 Lg bag spinach ( sauteed with oil and garlic and drained)
    10 to 12 slices sharp provolone cheese
    1 18.5 oz pizza dough
    1 egg (beaten)
    Ingredients for cold cut
    10 slices ham
    10 slices mortadella
    10 slices Cheese (of your choice, we use american)
    1 18.5 oz pizza dough
    1 egg ( beaten)
    Note : you can use whatever coldc cuts you like
    Let your dough rise then roll nice and thin
    add your filling ingredients
    brush egg wash over all sealing edges
    roll calzone and seal side and edges
    cut weep slices on top and brush with egg
    add sesame seeds on top if desired
    bake at 350 for 30 to 35 minutes or until desired brownness
    let cool 20 to 30 minutes
    cut and enjoy
