- New Orleans native Charlie Andrews demonstrates how to make a, Easy Ponchatoula strawberry pie. It consists of a homemade strawberry filling added into a prebaked pie crust with whipped cream added on top before serving. You can get 8 to 10 slices of pie. It's refreshing and absolutely delicious. Hope you all will give this recipe a try.

This is the first year my strawberry plants have produced. Gonna try with fresh ones. I made a similar recipe that called for these ingredients plus strawberry jello. It was ok, but too sweet and the strawberry jello taste too prominent. I think this recipe will let my precious berries be the star!
