There appears to be a tension issue here. the final embroidery is supposed to be a smooth glossy finish, but this appears to have a slight "fluff" appearance to it (thread loops). tension wheel (top) may need adjustment.

I just bought a JN-100 model, very excited to use it once it comes in!

Dude! Ive been waiting for years to see this thing make one of these Mario patterns! All the other channels just make crappy bags, which kind of misses the appeal of this thing imo.

Now you can do Kirby Family. It was unreleased but was completed. It was found and dumped online in 2020 and it would be cool to see the designs used in action.

Aloha! I wanted to ask, in-between each step (Mario had 9 steps in the video) do you need to change out the color?

Yes, we need to change out the color for each step, but it is not too hard to do this.

You can sometimes find them on ebay, but they're more expensive there (around $1200 or more). You can sometimes find them on Yahoo Auction (japanese site) they would go for about $250 USD with all attachments and accessories. It's suggested you use a flash cart for the software instead of buying the rare expensive cartridges)... or do what I did, just convert the patterns from the ROM into vector art and use it on a regular embroidery machine. I'm planning to sell some of these patches.
