  • This is a walk through on how to fix any r134a system. Residential systems are the same troubleshooting and repair process but use a refrigerant that is hard to get without a license. So this is how to fix any a/c system but if it is a residential system the refrigerant will be hard to come by.

Ok I was inspired & went as far as buying the vacuum pump & gages.
Couldn’t get my Schrader values out. So I’m put in the die & charged it & I now have working A/C in my work van.
    Wow is that nice.
Thanks for the inspiration. Good videos.

I really want to thank you for the video. I was taught to hold the can upright and then 3:00 back and forth. I am going to try it upside down like you suggested. I have a LS MT347 ,when I first got the tractor I had to bleed some Freon off because my compressor kept locking up. I ran it for two years and after my warranty expired it started all over. I think they had put to much oil in it at the factory. I am going to pull a vacuum on it, and recharge it. Before I did anything my high pressure side was 400. And I know it supposed to be around 240.I hope this works. Thanks again for a great video.

Good video my AC the Unit is working but the compressor is turning slow are seem to be catching in it circles turning. Not sure if its the compressor are it low. See if I can find some way to get the tester to see where the low and high pressure are in the system i sweating Bushhog yesterday..

Hey, awesome video, I have a T4.105 and it's A/C is intermittent. It comes on ice cold and then shuts off just blowing air. After hooking up some gauges the compressor works but it seems the high pressure continues to increase until the relief valve is trigger to prevent the compressor from blowing up. Any idea what may be the issue? Going to look at the expansion valve like in another video and see if that is the issue but any help would be awesome! Thanks for the awesome videos!

High pressure trips are USUALLY caused by high temp due to lack of refrigerant, is it blows cold then at first then most likely your expansion valve is fine my first guess would be not enough refrigerant to keep the system stable. Also probably not a relief valve but rather the clutch on the compressor which basically does the same thing by turning the compressor off. You should be able to hear the engine unload slightly when it shuts off if that's the case. Hope this helps and thanks for watching👍
