I so appreciate and value that you measure and weigh things while making your medicinal magic! When looking for channels on my own medicinal journey, this one reason is why I respected your knowledge and subscribed! Doing your own research from a variety of sources and knowing what you're putting into your herbal medicines is vital, and your measurements make that process just another step clearer while blending science with natural healing! Thank you again!

Thanks for the recipe. I love handmade salves.
Adding Vitamin E is skin soothing but also helps your products last longer. VE is an antioxidant that keeps oils from going rancid and extends the shelf life

I heard vitamin e is not a preservedative

@@adambland8779 where in my comment did I say it was a preservative?
It’s an antioxidant that keeps the oils and butters fresher for longer periods. It keeps them from going rancid. It does not prevent pathogens

I wish you research for root causes of cancer and remove those as well.
I know several humans who had tumors and healed them through raw alkaline diet, fasting and juicing, healing herbs, aloe vera, urine therapy, enemas, parasite cleansing but also getting rid of all kinds of perfumed petrochemical cleaning and cosmetic products and dental hazards..

I haven't made my own... but Amish Origins chickweed salve is really good for blisters, bug bites, scratches, etc.
They also have a calendula salve too.
If you don't want to make your own,
it has helped me and my family.
I appreciate you sharing how to make our own healing salve, thank you.

I too use my own homemade ointment. I do want to clarify something that petroleum is rarely given attention to: its from the ground. God created it and people who work on oil rigs have super soft skin. Until the chemicals are added for some uses, it is safe and as organic as they come. Remember, dirt is organic. In general, folks misunderstand that word. It's not something the US d a invented. Give petroleum a break and don't be afraid to use it.

I'm curious which of the geranium essential oils you use from Plant Nation? I see they have two different ones and I don't know a lot about geranium so I don't know if one is preferred over the other. Thanks so much.

I would love to make this, and have made face cream with similar ingredients. But after a while, the beeswax (I guess?) seperated back into little granules. Can this happen with this ointment? How can I prevent that?

Just heat it back up and stir- honey never goes bad- it crystallizes like that- that’s how you know u have great honey or beeswax!

Is this good for bee and insect stings?

    • @jojow8416
      @jojow8416 11 месяцев назад +3

Plantain infused oil, or just plantain has drawing properties as well as a number of other health benefits. I was stung, found plantain leaf, chewed it up and placed it on the sting. Within a few minutes the area no longer throbbed and did not cause the usual swelling that I always suffer. I hope this was helpful. Look up Plantain benefits and you will find a lot of information.
