I don't understand why this was done. Was it an experiment of sorts? If so, what was the objective? I'm assuming this person knows these birds aren't releasable to the wild and wouldn't survive if they tried to do that to the ducklings. These babies being deprived of any real interaction, affection, and connection is really sad. 😢
