- The morning began with an early surprise at Mount Rainier before a quick hike, then I took off to Seattle for an afternoon at Pike Place Market and ended the day at a hotel just south of the city so I could get a little extra rest and do some chores.

Ha...! So you did make the PCT in Washington, but were 100 miles to far south... The Enchantments are in the N. Cascades and the PCT traverses Stevens Pass...
Technically I wasn’t hiking on the PCT anymore but I still wanted to see these beautiful places! :)
