    This reminds me of the damned etudes in… I forget the book. But they sound so damn dissonant and non-melodic that it makes them hard to play. And I’m talking under a C above the staff. 😂
    Anybody have advice for getting a squeaky high note into a laser beam? My coach taught me a completely new technique and I’m slowly getting used to it. I can (pathetically) play double Gs and even double C, but nothing like this. It’s a pitiful little squeal. 😂 He tells me that’s how it starts, tho. And I’ve only been practicing for a month and a half, so I maybe just need time to grow my lip muscles.

    There's gotta be a cheat to do this. His mouth piece is altered. Shallow cup, smaller tip to force out more air in high pressure. Can blow same amount of air but it comes out strong since it's smaller tip. Hope makes sense.

    • @bananasforbricks3165
      @bananasforbricks3165 Год назад +16

      I would disagree. I really just think he’s got some of the best air support and tone out there. This could be the case, but I think it’s more likely that’s he’s just put in so much time to be amazing (plus obvious natural talent)
