nah this guy is different. if youve heard a trumpet in a tv show or a movie for the last 15ish years, chances are youre hearing wayne. beastmaster trumpet goat of all time
This reminds me of the damned etudes in… I forget the book. But they sound so damn dissonant and non-melodic that it makes them hard to play. And I’m talking under a C above the staff. 😂 Anybody have advice for getting a squeaky high note into a laser beam? My coach taught me a completely new technique and I’m slowly getting used to it. I can (pathetically) play double Gs and even double C, but nothing like this. It’s a pitiful little squeal. 😂 He tells me that’s how it starts, tho. And I’ve only been practicing for a month and a half, so I maybe just need time to grow my lip muscles.
There's gotta be a cheat to do this. His mouth piece is altered. Shallow cup, smaller tip to force out more air in high pressure. Can blow same amount of air but it comes out strong since it's smaller tip. Hope makes sense.
I would disagree. I really just think he’s got some of the best air support and tone out there. This could be the case, but I think it’s more likely that’s he’s just put in so much time to be amazing (plus obvious natural talent)
I think this is Jim Manley. He talks a lot about instead of thinking about chips focusing on opening up and controlling air from down low then the air telling the lips where to go.
I give this to my elementary students.
I want to see and hear if they play like this...if they do, I want to be your student as well
@@daniloleal6566 it was a joke lol. A good elementary student may be able to play the last two bars.
@@ColinMroczko Fair enough lol 😂
Good
@@ColinMroczkounless ur in any Asian countries..
I can play that last measure!
That a?
I can play last two measure. On a really good day I might be able to play last three 😂
Jacob, is that you?!?!
Not a warmup. A Wayneup
A wake-up Wayneup
Saw this guy live and got to meet him. Very humble and talented.
Ah yes finally someone else doing my warmup
There’s a reason Wayne is a pro, and I play in my basement 😂
gonna give this to the 6th graders, they can handle it.
normal
yes
Real
after 5 years of playing trumpet i can proudly say that i can play the last 3 measures 🥲
Edit: 1st and 2nd measure as well now holy shit
After more then 12 years i can say the same. Maybe would be able to get the first measure out somehow too, but second and third are just hell nah...
I need a warm up for this warmup
Only Wayne can play a space warmup where the notes are in space
mariah carey punching the air rn 😭
I feel like it's a warmup designed around a specific part of a piece he's about to play
Nah he was just riffing
@@caseyrice768 it's a play on something Doc Seversin used to do at the beginning of his verision of. MacArthur Park.
@@trptkrazed perfect, thanks for the background story to the riffs
did you find the clip of Doc doing it? It AWESOME!!! @@caseyrice768
Had dinner with him after a concert very nice down to earth guy, and yes he really plays like that
I met and talked with him for a few minutes, then ran into him a year and a half later and he remembered me, where I was from, and what I played.
One the best, ever. Wayne is a GOAT
Casually playing a double high b in his warmup
Wait i think ive seen this guy live before for a jazz performance. Holy shit
1st trumpet warmup
I would like to see and hear if they play like this... That's the point... If they do play like this, I want to be your student
Lol look up Wayne Bergeron… he plays like this
Check out Wayne Bergeron! Then you’ll see yourself
ah yes, the signature "blow out your chops before the gig" warm up. a true classic.
A normal trumpeter might blow their chops, but Wayne Fucking Bergeron does that shit in his sleep
Not for this dude tho 😅
nah, wayne has infinite chops

I've seen him twice with the phat band. He is sick
Hey Wayne!
Na. I can only play this on a good day.
Scales
Show off😊
4th graders play this for breakfast
I can only play the first and last 3 measures lol
I think the trumpet squeaked-
And I’m a trumpet player😂
It's not warming up. If it were, you hurt your lip
I played it and it was fun, im a freshman in high school btw

Glad to see someone can do my warm down……….
Perfectly executed
Lembrei até de quando eu tava começando
WoW👏👏👏
sounds like this is in 6/8
Only insane if it’s the first touch with the horn to start the daily routine (instead of at least a few long tones). 😊

@@bananasforbricks3165 yeah agreed, you can have the best gear but you still ain't hitting double Gs without the time
