The guitar and the piano solo is awesome. Trumpet guy only play altissimmo at times it is boring. too much prominence does not deserve it. Bravo! For the orchestra. The sax line is so good.
That trumpet solo at 1:58 is the best one yet not featured. Don’t get me wrong, the other Maynard clones are great - incredible actually - but that one at 1:58 is original and deserved more recognition.
Yeah it's sad how Wayne and Louis just talked through everyone else's solos and didn't care. I'm a trumpet player with a high ego too lol but I can still respect the other soloists
I remember watching Louis' youtube videos several years ago where he played cover songs. I think he was 17 back then. Glad to see he's been "discovered", and made his way to the stage!
The eyes are on the two trumpets in the foreground. The outstanding solo is the possibly overlooked trumpet in the background. Not just altissimo screaming, but great solo construction. He deserves a raise!
Nobody talking about the mad whistling skills at 0:39? Also 3:09 Louis moves in perfect sync with the first trumpet; 0:15 the director looks like Rick Dicker from the Incredibles
I have to disagree with this one. I love both of em, but MF can't be matched in a lot of ways. (Plus I've played with Louis before, and he's a great guy!)
I think I’ve commented before, but I just have to say, this is probably my favorite RUclips video. I’ve watched it at least 50 times over the years, and it gets better every time. Also, it has the best version of the solos out of any of the other variants of this song.
Okay, when the f**k is who‽ You got Wayne. You got Louie. But who is who? C'mon an' help out us cats who aren't in the Inner Circle. Mainly, who's the blonde-haired cat who's blowin' his friggin' brains out‽ Knockin' out them stratospheric riffs‽ Thass dope!
afgspecial....my friend...I actually think that Maynard was Wayne #2. I have always felt that Wayne was a little more "clean" on the scream notes......just my opinion.....which is worth very little. To be sure they both have been phoenominal....as is this fella Louis.......WOW

If I didn’t play trumpet, I would have played the Bass Trombone. Love that fat sound!
Bass Bone Player for Life!!!! Outstanding!!
This is sick. Louis doesn't even look like he is playing above the staff! Move to LA and you'll be next in line for all of Wayne's top gigs.
Nothing sick about it. Awesome!

Obviously everyone here for those upper register trumpet notes, but my god that was a solid G/F#!
When the band teacher has the two cocky trumpets play
Fr tho, this is my best friend and I trying to outperform each other.
The band: plays everything right
The trumpets: lEtS bRiNg iT uP
@SinisterMinister pretty sure he means metaphorically
Theres a difference between being cocky and being good
Thelegend27 for me it’s more like when our director plays
What a fantastic bass trombone player.
I heard him too!
this is the most beautiful thing i've ever heard from two cocky trumpets
That last note was amazing
I love Maynards original arrangement of this song but Louis’ big band arrangement sounds better to me IDK. Still love this song either way
Mano que som é esse ? Esse cara é um monstro
2:44 “oh.. okay” lol
listen closely at :39, you can hear whistling
I want to see this guy do a cover of Blur Devils Metamorph, especially the ballad
Freaking Weeb hell yea
Honestly though, that would be awesome
There are better and greater things than Metamorph
No one gonna talk about how the drummer looks like Gordon Ramsay.

Gotta have some way to de-stress after being unable to find the lamb sauce
holeyyyyy shittttttttt

COOOL!! The netherlandss!
Is that Toby from 'the office' conducting?
Why do I lowkey like the F natural?
Sorry, I’m still struggling to pick my jaw up off the ground.
That lead trumpet is struggling through the whole video.
I would be to shitting myself playing along those two
That bass trombone player tho
2:44 rip F#
Having a conversation on stage during the performance strikes me as a bit inappropriate! Especially when you're the soloists!
do you guys hear a mosquito or is it just me? especially from 3:02 to 3:12
And now, go to listen Eric Lachaud ! Click on the link.

yea, but it looks like they are like arranging things like on the go, at least from what I see. It's understandable though.@@robertturner5558

Then there was wayne
Now we have louis
We still have Wayne..? Wtf?
Wayne will retire someday, sadly. Louis is his successor. Wayne used to play with Maynard a lot, and then he succeeded him. Louis is next.

why is the bass bone to the far left and not the right?
Zachary Peterson with a sound that fat I wouldn’t want them anywhere near the leads lol, maybe they have two bass bones or something idk
