  • The 20" Istanbul Agop Special Edition Jazz Ride Cymbal has a woody stick definition, dry overtones and wash. Each Turkish cymbal is a work of art hand-crafted individually by the cymbalsmith. Variations in color, hammer marks, lathing, labels, etc., are all enhancements that add to the natural beauty, sound, and unique quality of these one-of-a-kind cymbals.

Has that old K vibe (well of course, it’s made in Turkey)

Yes. It definitely has that vibe, very complex and rich.

Dude, that was crazy... you literally created a melody with not melodic instruments!

Thank you! I try to be melodic on the drums.

Nylon tips? Would be nice to hear with wood tips, too.

Sorry. I only use sticks with nylon tip, but I will get a pair with wooden tip for future videos!

How do you get that snare sound? That‘s great.

Thanks! I usually tune the bottom head pretty high, and the batter head medium high. It’s a very affordable 14x6.5 steel snare with the original snare wires, and I believe at the time I recorded it I still had the factory heads on the drum.
