I think I know who this person is that you mentioned. Bumped into her via an old video of Runestone Reviews video of BM Silverbolt and she basically said he was blocked off her channel for his negative review on said toy for calling him something-turkey related. Even made a bullying Silverbolt PSA video about it. In whose mentally challenged mind does it count as bullying a fictional character if the toy is shit? The only redeeming thing I have found with the figure is that he has a griffin mode, which is theorized to be an early beast mode for Silverbolt until it was chosen for a condor. It helps the figure a little, but not a lot. I even tried to talk some common sense in that he and other reviewers such as TJOmega who also have reviwed the toy with their negative opinions of the figure but no, she said that they are "WRONG!' and are bullies to the character? What? Then she rambled something about me and others hating BW and BM, whuch I didn't even bring up since I like both shows. And according to her opinions are like weapons of war. Take your meds, ma'am. Anyways about the toy, happy to see BM getting some recognition since Tankor in T30 (not counting the Savage recolor of the little TR Fangry figure we got in 2016-2017). And that's a solid 10 years ago.
I actually came up with something cool that they could do for the Vehicons. I was thinking that, with how good the Junkions and Rock Lords are doing, why not make the Vehicons the new Weaponizers? They could transform as normal, but have detachable limbs so you can customize them or display them getting blown to bits or something. That’d probably be a good incentive to army-build them as well. I would at least get one of each, cause they were the best designs of that crappy show.
2:11 Well, I wouldn’t call Cheetor a mistake specifically, even though he did fail at protecting the All-Spark… Oh, you meant that one… Yeah, he was a mistake.
I found Thundertron over the weekend at a local game stop, and I was like "Boy! I sure do love finding wave 1 figures, even though WAVE 2 HAS STARTED TO COME OUT!!!!!!" Seriously, what is going on with Hasbro's distrobution? Since Febuary, I've only ever found the core class figures in stock at any of my local retailers. Then if its anything higher they just don't have it. Like Target's website says they have them not avalible online but you can get them in store, then you go to the store not to find them! I don't know if Target is lying or they are just did not recive anything higher than a core class.
Great video PerspectiveEnd!! I hope that this will be the last of Beast Machines for a while, since as you said that face of Cheetor's. O_O lol Keep on being amazing.
Easy Xenomorph retool/custom. The hole in the back of the head is perfect for it. Maybe I should buy a couple just to make a custom army of them. Maybe the purchase would tell Hasbro to make the cool Vehicons.
6:16 - I would an actually highly disagree on this take. Especially when you hear Robert Buckley's music in the fight between Primal and Optimal Megatron. Man even the intro music is so... I would say very unique.

In short, it's basic, but besides the stupid articulation limiting pegs, it's good enought as an modern BM Cheetor. Heck, If I ever get one , I may try repaint him in to one of his variant's, or in to Beast Pretender Catilla. Either way, I'm interested in getting him when avaible. As for the question of the video... If you had to pick what new Legacy BM figure would be next, who would you pick and why ?
Obsidian. I pick him, because the options are him Jetstorm, or Strika for me, Strika I'd want to be the IDW version, and Jetstrom I figure may get a figure on his own eventually, as he's the most popular of the Vehicon Generals. Obsidian, is awesome, and his incarnation in the show looks good already, so he doesn't need a revamp like Strika.
Primal becoming a religious zealot in Beast Machines was not on my bingo card but if it comes down to being techno organic or having your spark locked away for the rest of time unless you're one of the lucky few who Megatron pulls out to have your entire identity erased and overwritten to be a mindless servant I think my choice would be clear. Still a damn disgrace of a show but I don't think it's neccesarily the worst thing to ever come out of the franchise.
So I'm gonna be honest with you, I like Beast Machines. A lot. By the time Prime came out, I'd already gone back to it and was able to appreciate what it had to offer and I already did like some of the toys. That said, this looks as bad as Energon Megatron, did since reveals and you said exactly my thoughts, Happy Meal Toy. Hasbro has done better for cheaper for both these guys. If anything, both feel like a conscience effort to get people to not ask for more. That said, I'd actually recommend a lot of the figures from the first year designed before the show. Obsidian, Tankor, Jetstorm and Thrust were great for their era. I'd even stand up for Black Arachnia, Optimus Primal and Night Viper. Basically every toy up to and including the August 2000 waves have a lot more going for them and not looking like the show helps.

If you think you know who it is, then you probably know who it is yeah. And that sounds like her MO.
We need a Jetstorm way more than a Tankor.
Core Class BM Cheetor screams Happy Meal toy the moment I saw it.
Absolutely! 100%.
The joke is on You, Perspective. I ENJOYED watching Beast Machines.
YOU MONSTER!!!!
I respect the creativity behind the designs in Beast Machines but sweet Primus these freaks are hard to look at.
I mean it doesn't really take creativity to do what ever if you just go "What's the Ugliest thing I could possibly do?"
If you followed the instructions the face does get hidden, but it is literally just turning his head around, which gives him a snood like a turkey
Yeah, and I also think that looks worse, because his head is longer in back so it sticks out further.
Give us the vehicon generals joe hasbro
Especially Obsidian, and Strika!... Also Jetstorm.
That is putrid.
I have never felt more physical pain than trying to comprehend the decision making process with this.
Oh no, every second of beast machines is uncomfortable to watch. Was when I first watched it, still is now.
I feel you on that, and not half the reasons is because of the horrible music.
This moment at 5:26 was so funny and creepy. Also, does this remind you of The dark crystal?
I'm glad to hear that moment landed. And I can see what about it would remind you of the Dark Crystal, but I didn't notice it till you pointed it out.
What in particular?
I actually came up with something cool that they could do for the Vehicons. I was thinking that, with how good the Junkions and Rock Lords are doing, why not make the Vehicons the new Weaponizers? They could transform as normal, but have detachable limbs so you can customize them or display them getting blown to bits or something.
That’d probably be a good incentive to army-build them as well. I would at least get one of each, cause they were the best designs of that crappy show.
As long as Jetstorm got his own non Weaponizing figure, I'd be pretty cool with that. Would make sense too cause they were built with Spare parts.
@@PerspectiveEnd yeah we need a new Jetstorm regardless, seeing as he was one of the saving graces of BM.
2:11 Well, I wouldn’t call Cheetor a mistake specifically, even though he did fail at protecting the All-Spark… Oh, you meant that one… Yeah, he was a mistake.
It took me a minute to realize you were talking about the Cyberverse one.
@@PerspectiveEnd What other significant Cheetors do you know? (Emphasis on significant)
wait. Perspective has a figure that Prime V Prime doesn't have? this is an accomplishment!
Wait he hasn't reviewed this yet? Crazy.
@@PerspectiveEnd yeah, surprisingly enough he hasn’t reviewed this fig, but the SS86 5 pack with the long awaited SS86 Hound
I actually think Jetstorm looks really sick and I want a figure of him
THEY COULD RETOOL HIM FROM ARMADA STARSCREAM!
The Vehicons looked cool, and Jetstorm was the best of them.
Bro actually has the Thousand Year Stare.
Indeed he does.
Easy Xenomorph retool/custom. The hole in the back of the head is perfect for it. Maybe I should buy a couple just to make a custom army of them. Maybe the purchase would tell Hasbro to make the cool Vehicons.
wow they made the beast machines design barrable
A feat of engineering to be sure.
The yellow on that figure is so bright I nearly vomited when I found it at retail
That's part of what makes it look like a Happy meal Toy.
6:16 - I would an actually highly disagree on this take. Especially when you hear Robert Buckley's music in the fight between Primal and Optimal Megatron. Man even the intro music is so... I would say very unique.
Can't wait for the inevitable CatSCAN repaint.
Just give me a TM2 Megatron BM retool. A patchy, partially skinned dragon is METAL AF!
I assume you want it to come with it's sick Gamer Chair?
@@PerspectiveEnd Perhaps? LOL
A Beast Machines Megatron would be cool but new stuff has to be done and the size class he would fit in.
Please tell me we’re at least getting a Jetstorm at some point. This world needs his beauty.
We can only hope.
I think that if the eyes were painted completely in blue or green it would look like a generic 90s 2D platformer robot enemy that walks back and forth and honestly that would be more charming
That might be less upsetting to look at.
The best thing about beast machines is horrifying my friends with the designs
It is a great torture device.
Beast Machines needs a remake that doesn't suck, or Beast Wars needs an actual sequel.
How quiet can you get when Asking for likes before it sounds muted?
I personally like Beast Machines.
What draws you to it?
@@PerspectiveEnd it's literally just nostalgia I can admit it's inherently stupid. However I did like the nature vs technology theme and Tankor make a really good point on nature being inherently destructive......Also Jetstorm
2:56 personally to make myself feel better after seeing the face, i pretend that the purple lines under the “eyes” are the real eyes, and the “eyes” are eyebrows or smth idfk
That's kind of cute honestly. Kind of perpetually squinting.
Lol
Hmmmmm… why am i in this shitty show?- beast machines cheetor
Also bro the algorithm REALLY likes ur vids i watched one or two and oop my entire feed is FIRST: YOUR LIKES
Megatron.
Fun fact, Garry Chalk, VA of Primal, was mad that Primal was relegated to be that.
Agreed, at least you aren't serving some Religious Zealot. Just ego maniac. And you don't have a vat of toxic waste dumped on you.
great video
Thank you so much!
Saw this at my local target with the Tigerhawk, TFA BB and Lego Optimus. But IDC not just because it's Beast machines but because it's a core class, the only time I'd have a core class is if my mother would get it for me
cheetors face looks like hes been through hell and back like twice
You're damn right it does.
1:21 this reminds me of an incident were this person would harass people non stop (including me) because they didn’t like beast machines
I don’t like beast machines (I actually hate it a bit) but I wouldn’t harrass people who liked the show
Maybe it was the same person
I guess I was right they were the same person
Oh I know her
Human Girl is her username
@@davifariatertuliano yes that’s the one
If you don’t like beast machines she will harrass and argue with you over it
Like she hasn’t heard of opinions
@@michelcoolguy1701 yeah pretty annoying
I mean I can understand defending a thing you like, but nobody doesn't, but what she does is straight up childish
@@davifariatertuliano exactly she has a huge tantrum when someone says they dont like beast machines
Even if you try and say it in the most wholesome way possible
Yeah you both know for sure who I am talking about.
this year my main goal is to get more beast wars stuff, but if i for some reason get this thing i'm taking the robot head off and throwing it in a tub and leaving it in cat mode
ima release the demon, Beast machines should never have existed and should have shown the events of after beast wars
I'm happy that this is a thing, because if we're lucky that means we're getting the badass Vehicons in CHUG. I'd love a new Beast Machines Jetstorm.
I would be thrilled to get a Jetstorm and Obsidian, though I'd want Strika to be the IDW version.
Hopes designer's will make vehicons. They all was cool (except Strika)
I liked Strika, though her design was kind of really bad back in Beast Machines. They've improved on it since.
I'll go to bat for Beast Machines a little bit. It's a fucking mess and a truly disappointing follow-up to Beast Wars but it does have a few interesting ideas.
I mean you can say that about almost all ideas. All ideas can be interesting, if they are done well.
@@PerspectiveEnd Specific to it I mean. Like I don't agree with Megatron suddenly hating his beast form or with Optimus going all in on the whole "make everything organic" thing but they are interesting concepts for the show to explore. Still a damn disgrace of a show but I don't think it's neccesarily the worst thing to ever come out of the franchise.
I found myself really liking this figure, definitely gonna be a deskbot in the near future
Never thought I’d think that the McDonald’s toy looks better
To me it doesn't look better, just the same.
I really like beast machines, always have
That's fine. Don't let me convince you to stop liking it.
@@PerspectiveEnd hot take, but i think its vastly better then the whole cybertron trilogy
I now am going to give cheetor a bow
Honestly it's Happy Mealness is quaint to me, so while I recognize it's not really worth the money, I find it kind of charming for it.
I have an Obsidian, and I really like that thing.
@@PerspectiveEnd if you like more interesting toys full of character like I do, get Thrust and Jetstorm or its repaint as Sonic Jet or Storm Jet. They are great toys. I'd say Skywarp, but probably not worth the premium price lol
