- PPSS Group have launched its carbon fibre based stab vests.... ‘the future’, and the only real reliable and forward-thinking solution. It offers far superior levels of stab protection alongside substantial weight reduction and reduced thickness, and finally also fully certified spike protection. The reason the employee was so aggressive with the stabs was to make it clear that he's not holding back his attacks. Let's be honest, we're all impressed with that jacket due to what we witnessed. Both the boss & the employee did exactly what they aimed to do. Good work!

Getting hit with a glock at a good range in your more standard body armor for American police (NIJ level II) stops 9mm, but holy fuck does it hurt anyway; expect to get some bruising, getting knocked on your ass, a cracked rib, etc. from a blow like that.

There was another CEO for modifying vehicles, Land Rovers usually, to be bullet proof. He got in the vehicle then got someone with an AK-47 to start shooting the windshield. That guy was going ham as well. Granted I'm sure he wasn't shooting the same spot over and over again, but in a moving vehicle, that becomes pretty hard to do as it is. It is nice to see the creator/CEO actually demo their product in front of public eyes. It puts much more confidence in the buyer, and more security with the company.

You don't just press your knife on the red ball, cause you will smash it. You slash with towards and outwards motion to CUT.
A blade, without slash is simple blunt damage located in narrow line.

I believe these vests are a fusion of aramid kevlar, and an unknown type of material that seizes up/becomes stiff upon high impact.
Clearly these vests would be worth what they are if extensive, breakthrough materials unused before we're in the vest, but if these are just aramid kevlar and some other common material, then wearing chainmaille would be a more viable option than paying into these people's pockets.

While it´s a funny joke, one must admit that aiming for the head is the most risky bet since you can use the rest of your body to move and try to dodge.
I think the thing is that you get a few seconds of realization that you're being attacked with a knife. so you have some more time. I was being "playfully" stabbed at work. it happens so fast, you are 100% dead if you're not wearing protection.
the head is easier to dodge, dodging a knife to the chest probably not so much

No, just demonstrating what an actual assault would be like. It doesn't take training to do what he did, what he showed is actually the perfect demonstration of the average attacker trying to kill you. IRL, they aren't going to pull their punches, or in this case, pull their stabs, so the guy demonstrating the armor didn't either.
