The Outfield and Big Country are my two all time favorite bands. Their songs both helped me through some hard times! Stuart Adamson and John Spinks were some of the best song writers ever!
Stuart Adamson was such a wonderful and soulful singer, and in his tragic passing we lost one of the best. Big Country were never given the credit they deserved; while others 'imagined' breaking down barriers, they actually did it. Not just in terms of global politics but also addressing relationships; some dismissed them but then they never listened.
what Mark does on the drums from 4:21 to 4:23 or so...is just simply the most exquisite and deeply felt musical thing I've ever heard anyone play on the drums. It's not hard to do, it's not especially technical, but it fits that part of the song with vocals to a total perfection!!
Stuart Adamson legend of a man
Calum Thomson why is he dead

I have loved this song since it hit MTV in the 80s. This is a fantastic live performance of Wonderland. So many memories.............

You left us on the same day as my Dad. So sad, I hope you're at peace now.
Stuart really was a great singer. May he forever RIP.
I have this on VHS " peace in our time" , great stuff
Tight as a duck's galaxy button. The top band of their era at the very top of their game.

Thanx for sharing, love it, loved Big Country ;)
I am soooo glad I got to see them when I did. It wasnt a concert as much as a pilgrimage to see the lads. Hofstra University.
Stuart was the equal to Jimi Hendrix....legend
Stuart Adamson Not a good comparison.
John peel said Stuart was Britain's vers version of Jimi Hendrix
I disagree. He was better than Jimi!

Even the silly back up singers can't ruin this amazing performance. :-)
Ireland had U2.
And Scotland had Big Country.
Scotland = 3 of my all-time favorite bands...(Big Country, Simple Minds, The Jesus & Mary Chain)

I salute the people of the music

How did Stuart make his Guitar sound like that?
And how does the whole world not know of it & hear it every day? One of the most criminally underappreciated artists of all time! 🌟
Who is on keyboards?
Backup singers totally unnecessary!
awful!! whose idea was that???
yeah, just some eye candy-lol
They only lasted for that tour which was a great thing.
Nicolas Cage on the drums, everyone!
I thought it was Jerry Seinfeld.
97marqedman Nicolas Cage is an actor right? Mark brzezicki is the drummer
What a waste if a life. Great talent gone, lost forever.
'The cellars' version is better
Brilliant. What a sad loss
