Who wants their band to ba a U2? I'll take The Clash and Big Country Anyday. U2 jumped on the space The Clash left... it was made for them.. turning rebellion into money
Big Time Mate. It is criminal. They still get hardly any air time wven with absolute 80's etc. It's Our job to show the Youngens, I am sure Big Stu and the boys will be appreciated eventually....the quality is apparent.Amazing Band.
Another year gone by without Stuart. Such a great talent. Those whom the Gods love most deprive us of our true loved ones. Their music will go on. Every band should have a Big Country song in their repertoire! RIP Stuart.
Never missed a Glasgow or Edinburgh gig after 1986 - I was too wee to get in before then :o) Missed the 2000 gig at the barras as I was in Turkey on Honeymoon ... no longer married to that lady buy listen to B.C every day .... lesson learned. Stay Alive. xx
I went to Stirlung Castle just to see him n Big Country bringin in the millennium, Stuart never made it over from America seemingly.. heard he was on a bender. Only chance I ever got to see him. His story's well known and reading between some lyrics of songs he tells you n you can hear it. Absolute Legend of a man.. One of Scotlands Finest ❤
One of the only best musicians in the world what a presence on stage...why did you left us ? I am not so sorry for anyone but this case makes me so sorry. Because he was so unique
Although this was a good while ago it still looks fresh and sounds current. Fabulous sound. Extraordinary talented band, great loss, may Stuart rest in peace.
Seen a lot of singers, musicians, bands, performers etc in my time, but Big Country with Stuart Adamson at St Andrews 1990 has always been the standard to compare against. A truly outstanding talent. Only one ever to come close was, to my surprise, Chris De burgh...
Thirteen valleys he has wandered for her love For he thinks he is the one that she dreams of But her bed was made elsewhere from the first day she got there Now he wanders thirteen valleys crying out Now he wanders thirteen valleys crying out It could have been me I said, It could have been me A broken heart needs someone new to blame it on A broken heart needs someone new to blame it on Thirteen valleys she has gone since morning came Well she gave so much that only love remains But her lover is long gone with the money she sent on Now she wanders thirteen valleys crying out Now she wanders thirteen valleys crying out It could have been me I said, It could have been me A broken heart needs someone new to blame it on A broken heart needs someone new to blame it on That broken heart will be forever and a lifetime That broken heart will try your love like none before And you may fight or you may run for what was fast is now undone A broken heart needs someone new to blame it on A broken heart needs someone new to blame it on Thirteen valleys lying silent in the haze Filled with promises and spirits that we raised But the spirits all are ghosts of the ones we hurt the most And they wander thirteen valleys crying out And they wander thirteen valleys crying out It could have been me I said, It could have been me A broken heart needs someone new to blame it on It could have been me I said, It could have been me A broken heart needs someone new to blame it on That broken heart will be forever and a lifetime That broken heart will try your love like none before And you may fight or you may run for what was fast is now undone A broken heart needs someone new to blame it on A broken heart needs someone new to blame it on
mrdarklight I'm British (English) and couldn't get myself understood in Hawaii....i speak English, but what was being spoken in Hawaii i have no idea.....Peal Harbour was truly moving, though. A bucket list destination, i was honoured to have visited.
2021, 51 years old, a long time ago, I was 18, this was played in a forbidden world and it means so much more to me today than then.
The biggest musical crime is this band not getting its due as one of the greats and live unmatched this is exactly what i look for
I couldn't agree more. This band should have been every bit as huge as U2.
@@steffendass4169 ooh two had nothing on these guys!
They get their due m8... those that know about Big Country n Adamson giveth dues. Wouldn't want Everybody liking them would we? Wouldn't be the same 👍

Stuart has the rare gift in that he sounds as good live as in the Studio. No autotune needed here.
A rare breed of singer who was absolutely amazing live. Shame he's not here anymore R.I.P.
Brothers & Sisters, this isn't music, it's poetry set to the backdrop of beautiful music!
One the greatest bands to come out of Scotland! We miss you guys!
Probably the best
Yes, and Runrig 🇧🇻
It is the best band out of 🏴
Heart broken ... literally when I heard of Stuarts passing.
17 people are utterly insane. i used to sprint home from school to watch this vhs in '88!

Como sigue doliendo esta gran pérdida de un grandioso artista como lo fue Stuart Adamson ♥️

if I couldn't see the video I wouldn't think that this was live. His voice man.
Amazing voice, and a huge loss
Could we imagine that today? A Scottish band playing in Moscow? The world has changed dramatically!
He was so good at singing live. Perfection. ❤️
Simply wonderful. A life ago. Still broken hearted in an ocean of broken hearts
Wat a band and so underrated, Stuart was a genius
One of the only best musicians in the world what a presence on stage...why did you left us ? I am not so sorry for anyone but this case makes me so sorry. Because he was so unique

I'm just glad at least some of the audience understood Stuart...his accent is glorious.
Although this was a good while ago it still looks fresh and sounds current. Fabulous sound. Extraordinary talented band, great loss, may Stuart rest in peace.

A very underated band. Was as great in tow to tow with U2, Simple Minds and even the electronic band Depeche Mode.
Who under rated them?

Big country Stuart best vocals so heart wrenching
Sad song says so much
Thirteen valleys he has wandered for her love
For he thinks he is the one that she dreams of
But her bed was made elsewhere from the first day she got there
Now he wanders thirteen valleys crying out
Now he wanders thirteen valleys crying out
It could have been me
I said, It could have been me
A broken heart needs someone new to blame it on
A broken heart needs someone new to blame it on
Thirteen valleys she has gone since morning came
Well she gave so much that only love remains
But her lover is long gone with the money she sent on
Now she wanders thirteen valleys crying out
Now she wanders thirteen valleys crying out
It could have been me
I said, It could have been me
A broken heart needs someone new to blame it on
A broken heart needs someone new to blame it on
That broken heart will be forever and a lifetime
That broken heart will try your love like none before
And you may fight or you may run for what was fast is now undone
A broken heart needs someone new to blame it on
A broken heart needs someone new to blame it on
Thirteen valleys lying silent in the haze
Filled with promises and spirits that we raised
But the spirits all are ghosts of the ones we hurt the most
And they wander thirteen valleys crying out
And they wander thirteen valleys crying out
It could have been me
I said, It could have been me
A broken heart needs someone new to blame it on
It could have been me
I said, It could have been me
A broken heart needs someone new to blame it on
That broken heart will be forever and a lifetime
That broken heart will try your love like none before
And you may fight or you may run for what was fast is now undone
A broken heart needs someone new to blame it on
A broken heart needs someone new to blame it on
thank you🎉🎉🎉🎉
