- Today we are building an axle to bottle jack adaptor to help stable our Jeeps when changing off-road tires.
As suspension technologies has improved overtime and suspension articulation has gone crazy. When using the beloved high lift Jacks that has worked will in many situations, but now the Hi-Lift jack can barely lift our tires of the trail when we need to change them, and the Jeep become very unstable. We have used the bottle jack as long but it to can be unstable as the High-Lift Jack. The bottle Jack button head connects to a round axel tube can slip right off, we may have a solution that may help, come check out videos.
Here is what needed:

Welder, and saw
Great video I just picked up a bottle jack buddy! but if i had the time this would be a fun project
Watching this made my head hurt! That tube pulled at least 1/16 of a inch when he tacked it
Very nice, but the pipe did not have to be that long, I made mine 1" long and it worked fine.
When I get under my RAM or either of my trailers on my driveway I'm going with my floor jack. Off road? Have fun finding " bottle jack level ground .
I sure hope you made another one with a tube that is only about an inch and a quarter to an inch and a half in length. You wouldn't be able to get that thing under the axle of my truck!
yep i think im going to make myself one of thease
That poor micrometer....
Can you please make me one.
i just may have to put one of these together, already have a couple bottle jacks. super cool tip. why the 8 ton? you lifting a bus? or is it because of the height of the jack??
Correct mainly the height and the base is a little wider than a 4 is 6 ton..
What's the benefit of this over the stock scissor jack?
It’s little smaller and easier to store.. We have modified scissor jacks to fit the axle and works great also… Thanks for watching….
Scissor jacks are called widow makers for reason. This with a base is much safer and easier to use.
Hi What is the name of the part you got from summit racing

Are you able to make the extension and sell them to me. I have a travel trailer and would like a set made and shipped to Minnesota. ZIP Code 55008 can you come up with a cost. Would like it with a harbor freight 10 ton jack So your pipe size will need to be different and I may want them taller.
Any update on the jack base build video?
