Oh my, the sentence of monstera devil looking like spider mite infestation is so true! Even if I sleep on money I would never buy it. It’s just ugly and looks sick. I enjoy variegated plants but it’s the 🌿GREEN🌿 that calms me down.
👁️👁️[laughs in African American] each time you say the word ‘fugly’…I don’t want anyone’s plant node…I would be angry with myself if that one node unalives itself in my care. We want a Part II!
I have a cutting of an albo that I paid $40 for and I thought that was pricey and that sucker still hasn’t grown a leaf after 5 months. No way I’m adding a comma on my price tag 😂
Part 2, Yes, please! As far as spending money... nope! Not when I've had too many simple plants from big box stores just up and die, honey, no. Not with rent and food priced.
Yesss broke girlie here lol🤦♂️..I will wait patiently until those crazy prices drop. Ive unalived a few of my plant babies so there's no way I would spend a grip on another rare plant. I must say I look forward to your new uploads...always funny and engaging like an old friend. Definitely do a part two😊
With all the failures I have had with cuttings and these "rare" plants, I will not be paying that much for any plant. I stopped shopping so much on Etsy. Lots of overpriced plants that die in transit or right after you get them. Beware the extortionists on Etsy.
🙋🏼♀️ bitter and broke due to the holidays, and this video making me a bit more bitter 😂 You have such a talent and charisma with your videos. I so much enjoy seeing your videos. God bless you ❤
I generally buy plants that are 20.00 or less, a lot are cuttings. I have been known to spend up to 40.00 if I am crushing hard on a plant. If I had unlimited funds, I would get any plants that I wanted. None of the plants you showed appealed to me though. Yes, on a part 2. Peace and kisses to you.
Oh Ebuka I will not pay a lot $$$ for a plant especially I live in a weather that’s not predictable. I do like new plants but I am not the kind of showing off my babies 😂 my hobby is only for myself 😊 thanks Ebuka
As much as I looove plant shopping the answer will be no no and no I will NOT be wasting my money like that. Plants die for no reason and is there a money back guarantee? I don’t think so. Sorry! Any way…part 2 please😂😂😂
that monstera devil cutting for 2$ is 100000% a scam. i feel like 90% of the offers on etsy are scams and you can usually tell if the seller is from Sri-Lanka or Indonesia.
I would never buy a plant that cost so much money. I love plants, I have alot of plants but I won't have bailiffs at the door over plants😅 plus my little collection is more for my enjoyment and not for profits. So I can understand when those who buy these expensive plants to sell as a business. It's an investment. Love the videos 💖
That rooted leafless Monster cutting costs 350€, we put a comma instead of a dot after the price. I used to love it until you put the spider mite image in my head 😂😂😂
I honestly wouldn't buy any of these plants even if they were cheap 🤭 There are much cooler more affordable plants in my opinion... Definitely would like to see a part 2!
you have to be careful on etsy because there are a lot of scam sellers from Asia claiming to sell those rare plants for cheap, but then they never ship, they just take the money and run.
I’m most definitely a poor poor girl of society because… whet and how are they in the THOUSANDS?! But, Ooohhhh, if I was rich, I’d probably have all of them
To clarify on the 350,00 euro price tag you saw. In Europe they have a different system than in the US. We use decimals to denote change and they use commas. So $30,000.52 would look like €30.000,52.
🤣 This video is so funny! Fun fact, you are not 100% wrong when you talk about a sick plant 😅 many variegations are due either to a genetic mutation or to certain deficiencies or diseases. The non-green parts have a lack of chlorophyll, so the plant is more sensitive and vulnerable to everything, a plant that manages to keep 100% white leaves must take its energy from one place and at the slightest problem it will drop them to survive and at a certain stage each new non-green leaf it will drop one because we have reached its maximum energy. All these variegated plants are probably not stable and in good conditions and if we take some either at great risk of reversion (returning to its normal form). Before variegated plants were not popular because they were "sick" plants, which is not 100% false lol 😆 We have even seen scams, some variegation is due to the fact that growers give a chemical to the plant to make it special, but over time the plant does not receive what makes it special and returns to its regular state. Even if you are rich, before buying this type of plants always take into account the risk that this plant can return to its "standard" state and that nothing can be done about it. That a plant is never an investment to make "cuttings" and resell, because the time that the plant grows and all the price will go down enormously especially with plants in tissue culture. Take care of you 💛
There is a certain insanity to plant prices. I could not ever justify paying even $50. on a plant. I don't jump off of the RARE plant cliff if you will. Anything popping right now will be at a BBstore in 2 years. Do I wait? Yes. Then I wait sometimes til it hits a clearance section and rehab it. I feel if you are charging plants you've kinda lost it cause a hobby should be just that and not a debt on your shoulder. Also honestly some of this RARE plants aren't that attractive. Like there are some real "Hoya Head" collectors that put enough money down on some rare thing that's like akin to a car payment and it looks like nothing special to me. Like if I was at a 4 way stop and looked out the window and saw a pricker bush on the side of the road that's how attractive that "Rare Hoya" is to me. Don't buy the hype lol.
Yes, we need a part 2 😂😂❤
“ all of this for a plant that looks like it’s recovering from a spider mite infestation” 😂 this is too funny! 😂
🤣🤣🤣 but did I lie
@@TheMillennialPlantDadhahaha 👀👀👀 NOPE no sirrr 😂
You’re so refreshing. Really.
Aww thank you so much
Love it! I have so much fun watching these videos. 😂
I’m so glad you enjoyed it!
Please make a part 2!! ❤
Yes please, a part 2 is definitely needed😂😂😂
These "nood" cuttings are pathos plants but by the time it grows into a recognizable plant it's 8 years later. 😂
Screaming @ nood 🤣🤣🤣
And yes I agree 😆😆

The most I've paid for a plant is $30 and I said never again. (I nearly rotted it, but was able to save it in water.)
I’ll keep adding pops of colour with my Neon Pothos 😅😅😅

There are 2 or 3 sellers I trust, and even then, it depends on the plant, how it's packaged, and USPS being backed up.

God bless you too 💚
I was falling off my couch with this one 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 love it!!!
You make me laugh and smile no matter how awful I feel...... I thank you Friend ❤️ I appreciate you!!!!!
All plant people have to do is wait a few years and it will be in the Big Box stores for $19.99.
For sure. I’ll wait out the trend and buy it at bargain basement prices 😂
There are a couple aglaonema I'm waiting for.
I killed so many algao 😢
@@toshokanhon I learned the hard way that they hate the least bit of overwatering. So I let it completely dry out.
@@brooke5258 and somehow I accidentally got another one. I don’t know if it’s gonna survive.

MPD, try saying “Joseph, Mary, Mother of Jesus.” When you are shocked by the price! 😂😂😂 Part II.
🤣🤣🤣 ok that is funny !!😆
😂😂😂😂😂😂
$2 for a node is NOTHING compared to what people were paying for nodes back in 2020-2022ish. So that’s honestly a steal lol
Yup I agree . But does feel too cheap to be true

I've love a 10 part series on this subject.

Yes, please do a part 2 for Sansevieria.
That Neon monstera 🤩 but I’ll wait it out to get it.
Awesome pl-antihaul 😅 I'm praying to the tissue culture gods for affordable monstera devils and pink/black variegated ZZ plants.

sour grapes! 😅
🤣🤣🤣
I'm almost always gonna opt for the Great Value version of a plant. Philodendron Isleamanii? Noooo. I'll get an area syngonium instead...
Those Monstera with heavy variegation are so hard to keep alive. I'll save all my $$ and buy more Hoya lol.
lol.. so spendy!
Me seeing the title: *breaking out the popcorn and the theatre glasses*
Yassss!!!
Broke girlies of society 😆😆😆😆
These node cuttings at low prices are scams.
Right !! The prices are too suspiciously low and you really have no way of knowing
