A lot of guys here in the comments don't have a clue what they are talking about. The scooter is build well, is very stable even at high speeds and plenty fast. Mine will go up to 128 kmh according to the GPS while the speedometer shows 141 kmh.
Charlie Brown the full review will be on www.scooterlab.uk later this week. This is just a top speed video, we’ll also have a video review and written test.
They’re still benefiting from the development of Frank Sanderson and Paul Melici, right? Still the same lightweight chassis with now a contemporary Chinese motor. I prefer my Scomadi: Scomadi TT125i - Blowing the DJ pipes - supply from Sandertune ruclips.net/video/avWs-6gkY1k/видео.html
Mine is about 4 mph out at 40mph and about 6 at the top end, but I use a digital GPS unit to take accurate speed. I recently had mine up to 84mph going downhill and about 80mph on flat roads.
I've had 80mph out of my 20 plate GP200 LC a few times (measured on a rolling road and a GPS device). If the GP300S only does 81mph then you've got a bad one as a mates 300S outdoes mine on acceleration and top end.
@@bartsimpson8616 it's made in the far East and designed by a British company. They are a 4 stroke with retro looks of a classic Lambretta and this is the best scoot I've ever had in 40+ years of riding.

@@ScooterLabUK It depends on wind speed and without a passenger. I watched the vid and saw it moving up to 90 KLM very very slowly without a passenger, thats 60 MPH Not very impressed.. @@staffh3815 having done zillions of miles on scooters of all kinds for the last 30 odd years there are times when a motorway makes life easier. The buyer of a 300cc scooter is likely to want to do some decent mileage and use motorways. They have the benefit of larger wheels, more weight, better suspension and great brakes. It’s not half as wobbly as a P2. Having said that I still love motorway riding on my classic scoots but have to agree the A roads are always more fun :)

Those engines take a few thousand miles to break in, add a freer flowing air filter and a mid to tall wind screen.
Suppose it's all down to comparative weights and aerodynamics if motors are indeed identical?
Will you be buying the Greggs t-shirt from Primark as you like the sausage rolls that much?
so what was your conclusions, couldn't really make out a lot of what was being said apart from getting the Greggs in..:)

Hand signalling, old habits die hard hey 😂
Thats only 60 MPH Not much use on a motorway or long hills with a line of cars trying to overtake you.... The vespa 200 was capable of that speed
It does closer to 80 and can maintain the speed, unlike a P2. It’s as good for motorways as a GTS.

This isn't what these scooters are about though. In my opinion these scooters are the ultimate urban vehicle.
A 300 is made for longer journeys, many GTS 300 and RA 300 riders will do 200-300 miles to a rally so need speed as well as style.
