Well thanks to positive feedback on the first Tier List video it looks like I'll be sticking with these, so let's celebrate with the Fire Emblem game that saved the franchise.

I'm currently watching a lot of support conversations, and I can find a thing that does give Laurent some charm. While Miriel is less robotic, Laurent enjoys using magic for amusement of others, as shown with his support between Miriel and him as well as Robyn and him

Lmao you don’t care for Virion but I love him, I think he’s hilarious and I paired him with Sully because they have the most anime-like introduction you can have outside of an actual anime. She KICKS HIM lol
I do find it funny how your two Least favorite maps in Awakening both Have Aversa as the boss what an odd coincidence. Honestly the only thing that I personally liked in Chapter 22 was her Boss conversation with Robin as she basically explains her motives about how she wants her father Validar to give her attention instead of Robin getting it all the time which is why she is jealous of her sibling Robin. And then Robin says back to her one of my favorite lines from them: “And here I thought Exelleus was the lowest person imaginable but you win singlehandedly.” Other than that amazing Boss conversation I agree that Ch. 22 and 25 are pretty boring.
As for my personal favorite maps, I really like ch. 4 for its gladiator setting, ch 10 of course, Endgame because you’re on Grima’s back and I personally found the fight on hard mode to be quite challenging for me, and my favorite level in Awakening is actually ch 7 because Of extremely personal reasons (more on that later)
As for characters, M!Robin and Cherche are definitely God/Goddess tier characters for certain, M!Robin in Particular Being my most relatable character in FE history because he Is smart, Ernest, listens to others, allows people space and comfort when they need, stays true to his convictions, and has some amazing one liners in several Supports/Character interactions.
But no other female character in fiction could compare to my Divine Goddess: Cordelia. (TLDR at the bottom)
Cordelia has been my favorite female character period ever since I first played Awakening. As I mentioned previously Ch 7 is my favorite chapter in Awakening because it was the level that not only proved that even after Chrom Awful father died, there was still some Ylisse people that were willing to sell out their Queen to the Plegians for their own safety, but it was also the level that on my first play through Robin was about to be defeated (Because he was the only one not paired up like the others) Then Turn 3 came and, Like a Valkyrie, Cordelia came and warned The Shepherds Of Reinforcements on the way allowing me to Pair up Robin/Cordelia and Turn the Tide and after seeing her in complete distress after every Pegasus Knight in Ylisse (who were like sisters to her) was killed except herself, Phila and Sumia, Phila gave her the strength to keep fighting, which makes Phila’s Death two chapters later by the hands of Aversa even more tragic. But what really makes Cordelia my Divine Goddess is her Support with M!Robin, as she makes a Personal Lance from Scratch (Which I head Canon is the same personal Lance she uses in Heroes and Warriors) and When Robin called her a “Genius” she gets hostile because that word triggers her due to the teasing and taunting she had to endure growing up, later in her B Support she revealed that she was accustomed to having no friends (Besides Sumia and Phila) So when Robin wanted to be friends with Cordelia, She cannot contain composure and starts crying in Robin’s arms, and in Her A Support She then finally revealed that the people that called her a genius are the same people that gave their lives for her which made Robin realize that they actually meant it when they called her a Genius and Cordelia only realized that at the very end which makes it a bit painful for her and then her S Support with Robin and especially her CGI Confession In it,………Beautiful that’s all I can describe it (And it makes me feel a little bit sad that some people think that she only cares about Chrom when her Support Chain with characters like Sumia, Gaius, and Especially Robin have no mention of Chrom whatsoever)
TLDR: to me Cordelia’s my “Divine Goddess” because of her amazing first impression and especially entirety of her support with Robin.
I also would put Cordelia in divine goddess tier… followed by Sumia, Say’ri, Anna, Tiki because why not. I think what makes Cordelia my favorite isn’t because of her backstory, but how she reacts to it. Cordelia lost her entire squad, and instead of letting that get to her, she overcomes her failure, she learns to let go and become what her squad wanted her to be. Not only that, her crush on Chrom isn’t her defining feature, like Tharja’s crush for Robin. Sure Cordelia may be in love with Chrom, but one can tell if you pair her up with the right dude, that isn’t Frederick, she’ll get over him, hell, her entire S-support with Gregor proves that she’s capable of loving someone more then her lord. In my opinion, The perfect woman for Robin. There are only five woman I ever s ranked in Awakening, but Cordelia will always be my favorite.
@@doubleflores8350 indeed that why I love Cordelia so much because she is my favorite type of character in fiction: staying true to herself in the face of adversity. And her support with Robin is still my favorite Support in The Franchise.
That’s why I ship Cordelia with Robin. He’s one of the few guys whose able to help Cordelia move on from her trauma and emotional problems in a healthy way. A lot of people tend to think that her Chrom Obsession is her only trait without getting to know her. Sometimes, they get her mixed up with Faye, whose character is solely defined by her Alm Obsession and she never grows out of it.
@@samflood5631 indeed since Awakening was my first FE game, It was so impactful that Cordelia was such a fantastic and well written character because at the time I never met a character that was so well written, and Warriors and Heroes just made me love the redhead falcon Knight even more with her new interactions with others. Also Severa&Morgan Being her daughter’s to me personally as well as their Supports with each other, just made me love their family even more (especially in Fates where Severa treats her mom to have Chrom treat her to tea and she said at the end to herself “don’t worry daddy, I’m sure Mom will still pick you in the end” which made me love Severa even more as my daughter)
Vasto was the one who killed the heirophant in Chapter 7.
The cutscene in Chapter 4 was like an ode to Radiant Dawn, and Chrom and Lucina duelling with wooden swords in their C support was like Ike and Greil early in Path of Radiance.
Chapter 23 started out similar to part 2 of the Radiant Dawn Finale, I think.
I never got to mess around much with the Spotpass characters in this game, but didn't you forget Priam in your character tier list?

fun fact: first romance was Tiki (I am a man who likes the juxtaposition of the voice of Naga consorting with the Vessel of Grima, but it was also super sweet to see! fave mother to Morgan I've had yet) Say'ri was the second because I loved the conversation between her and Robin on culture plus I fully did the Valm arc with her interacting with each important boss.
43:58 Pheros is actually a really cool character. Apparently she was a disciple of Emmeryn. When she "died" Pheros was devastated and went to Valm in sorrow. Walhart's speeches gave the broken Pheros hope for if fate failed her why not fight against it and get revenge against it. I wanted to recruit here so bad. In my mind she is the Camus of Awakening.
Next to Mustafa she's the closest thing to one in the game.
Pheros and Cervantes both are great examples that Walhart was someone who can inspire the people around him and I really like how he is a complete foil of Chrom (Decedent Of the Saint King Alm In Walhart’s case Vs. Decedent of the Hero King Marth In Chrom’s, both inspired the entire continent to unify against the other (Walhart with conquering Virions country, Say’ri’s, etc. and Chrom with having help from Arena Ferox and even Plegia), Both believe in the strength of man over Gods, and both Being Someone who would never give up until the other falls) It really shows how Walhart is one of my favorite Awakening villains mostly because he definitely captures the aspects of Alm’s character if he didn’t have Celica to help him stay on the right path

This was fun to watch, also seeing the skill rankings really does show how broken Awakening can be when it comes to strategy. So many possibilities for decimating the enemies
Yeah it's both a blessing a curse to break awakening in half with skills and other mechanics but that's why it's one of the best FE games to replay, glad u enjoyed the video too.
On my first play through I had my avatar marry Cordelia. I had Chrom marry Sumia.

Tharja/Ricken does not work at all. She does not respect him and even tortures him at times. Avatar/Tharja, Tharja is dedicated to the Avatar and him to her. I would say Tharja/Henry is her best match since they have the most in common with each other.
I forgot which video he said it in but the whole “that’s a little redundant, can you say redundant?” line was from a deleted scene from Aladdin

Looking back at it, I just realized that Robin has one of the worst family issues I’ve ever seen, a father that only sees them as a vessel for his god, and an adopted sister that pre Spotpass is extremely petty about being jealous that their dad is giving Robin all the attention instead of herself, and Post Spotpass (Which I don’t consider canon personally) is extremely cringeworthy with trying to be the “dotting sister” that says that Robin is very lucky to have her and Validar as family where Robin doesn’t want anything to do with them: (B Support: Aversa: “My My, SUCH the Gentleman truly you are you father’s son.” Robin: “…Don’t say that.” Aversa: “Don’t deny It. Not to me We’re family after all” Robin: “We are NOT Family! You’re Adopted! And I didn’t even know my family!) honestly I feel so bad for Robin Having a terrible life like that, which is why I had Morgan Kill both her Grandfather And Adopted aunt in my last Awakening play through (I cannot really think of many other FE characters that have the only known family they have being unlikable people) I would personally place both Validar and Aversa in F tier because I wouldn’t want to be with ether of them even if they begged me (Personally I rather choose Gangral, at least he not only climbed his way out of the dregs to become king of Plegia but he also has a good reason for his revenge against Ylisse)
I would personally move the Avoid +10 and HP +5 up to B Tier. By themselves they provide an advantage which is niche. Because the +5 hp or +10 dodge would aid Pavise/Aegis/Breaker or other defensive skills in keeping you alive. Using either of those two becomes a viable strategy even when playing on Lunatic or Lunatic+. The other +2 stat skills are fine where they are since the +5 to a weapon over-shadows the strength or magic +2, +20 hit absolutely destroys +2 skill, +2 spd is a little better though is not needed if you have Rally +4 speed, the +2 res and +2 defense are greatly overshadowed by Aegis or Pav'ise though still have some place. Basically, I would place +2 speed/defense/resistance in the top of C tier and skill +2 at the bottom of C Rank.
The Breaker Skills are somewhat problematic because of the classes you have to switch into in order to get them. Beast and Flying Units are weak to BeastLance. Flyers take double damage to Bows plus double damage to Wind Magic. So Bow/Lance/Tomebreaker is needed to cover all of their weaknesses. Having three skills dedicated to Breakers for a tank is not a bad idea. Non-armored, mounted, flier tanks are just over-better tanks because they lack those vulnerabilities.
Thank you Blazingknight for fully understanding Cordelia’s character. It seems that a majority of fire emblem awakening fans think that her obsession with Chrom is her only character trait without fully understanding that there’s more to her character. They forget or don’t know that Cordelia is talented, smart and beautiful but she suffers a lot from her insecurities, mainly her intelligence and chest size (she has small boobs by the way). And even though she still pins for Chrom, most of her support conversations, like Stahl, Lon’qu, Virion, Robin and Gaius help her move on from the obsession and her insecurities in a mature and healthy way. Those fans tend to mistake Cordelia for Faye from Shadows of Valentia, whose soul character is based on her unhealthy obsession with Alm. This is because she has a lack of supports that help her flesh out her character. Hell, in her ending, she still stalks king Alm despite the fact that she’s already married and has kids of her own, meaning she has learned nothing from this whole adventure. The difference between Cordelia and Faye is that Cordelia is mature and able to move on in a healthy way while Faye is childish, unhinged and obsessive.
Couldn’t have said it better myself, I have always seen her BFF Sumia Having much more Chrom obsession moments (and nowadays Male Robin as well outside of Awakening) But Cordelia has far more than that tiny thing.
@@grimaaggron6609 Well Sumia was made to be Chrom's canon love interest, which falls flat due to how stupid and badly written their support conversation is. I personally felt that Sumia had a much better romance with Robin since it focuses on her character as well as having a common interest, which is how most relationships start.
While I do agree that Sumia’s romance Support with Robin is better than Chrom’s, I still didn’t mind Sumia’s Chrom Support IF you let them get married in the story after Gangrel’s defeat (I only hated their actual S Support in their Chain Personally) besides I rather do Chrom/Sumia’s romance Support over Female Robin’s entire Support with Chrom any day (Easily my Least favorite Support in all of FE)

The C Support is basically Female Robin Being completely out of character and instead of acting like an amnesia but still gifted tactician (like how Male Robin sounds in his million times better Chrom Support) she acts like a lady who considers herself a role model with “a lady needs her beauty sleep” like that doesn’t sound like Robin at all, and then she Yells when Chrom says that he never thought of her as one “I think a sharp blow to the head might fix your eye sight” (Seriously that’s NOT Robin, it’s out of character for her to act like a “pretty lady” trope), The sad part is, that’s the “least offensive” of their support chain imo, The B Support is the worst line of dialogue I’ve ever read in FE history (even worse than Leonie and Hana’s Supports with Byleth and Corrin respectably) you know that horrible anime trope when the guys, for dumb misunderstanding reasons that felt forced, accident themselves into girls bathing and then the girls scream and attack them because the writers thinks it’s funny? (It’s my Least favorite Trope in fiction) well here’s Some of their B Support: Robin: “Chrom is that you? Could you wait outside, I’ll be out in just a moment” Chrom: “what, Come on in? Why is it so steamy in here? Did someone leave-“ Robin: “KYAAAAAAA!” Chrom: “Ah there you are, I could hardly see anything from all this blasted steam, anyway I like to as you about tomorrow’s………um why are you not wearing any clothing” Robin: “Chrom? Rather than stand there like a slack-jawed village idiot, PERHAPS YOU COULD WAIT OUTSIDE LIKE I ASKED!?” Chrom: “Oh you’re right I’m so sorry, I didn’t mean to! That is to say-“ Robin: “OOOOOOOOOOOOUT!” Yeah That is their B Support and as you can tell, it’s the worst writing in FE history Imo. Their A Support isn’t much better because They flipped the whole “seeing each other nude” thing with Female Robin throwing things at a Chrom bathing this time but what Chrom says at the end really ticks me off “Look on the bright side, we’ve seen each other nude now so we’re closer than ever we have no more secrets” if I were Female Robin, I would never speak to Chrom ever again, and then the S Support isn’t any stupid shenanigans like the C and especially B&A, but unfortunately the damage was already done and no amount of sugarcoating can change how garbage their entire Support Chain is (it’s why It’s the only Chrom Support I Refuse to ever touch in all my Awakening Playthroughs and why I always play male Robin every time I play Awakening)
TLDR: it’s the worst Support in the franchise because of how OoC Robin acts in the C Support and the B&A Supports are my most despised anime trope in fiction
And now for the other games, like Tellius, Fates, Thracia, Elibe, just to name a few.
I would switch Lucina and Sumia but that's just because of my tastes with Cordelia being a close second (only issue being Chrom syndrome).

the only real issue with the first two characters in this list, those being Sumia and Cordelia, is that they have a lack of supports, for example Sumia has to few supports in general, and Cordelia never even has a proper support chain with Chrom, which is such a waste, because it could have lead to some interesting stuff. Aside from that they are both great characters.
Hell I would’ve loved for Cordelia to have a support with Chrom and it ending on A-support with her realizing that despite Chrom being all handsome and dashing, she’ll come to the realization that the two would fit better as friends. But that can’t happen because supports between men and women have to end with romance and for Cordelia, her simping over Chrom is more important then character development. When will they learn?
@@doubleflores8350 I doubt they ever will, there will always be a character who cares a little to much for a specific character in the game, I mean even three houses has that problem, with Hubert being the way he is with Edelgard, though honestly he is done a bit better when it comes to characters simping. Catherine and Leonie however, that's different because outside being attached to a particular character (Catherine being attached to Rhea and Leonie being attached to Jeralt) they do have some great supports and moments in te story, but as soon as stuff starts involving the characters they are simping over, it gets a little out of hand. I mean Catherine is so attached to Rhea that she may as well be brainwashed.
But as bad as it is with how attached Catherine is with Rhea, and how annoying Leonie can be in a few situations, don't even get me started on how attached Faye is to Alm, because it is just plain stupid.
I think Chrom and Cordelia should have had a support chain, even if it stopped at A rank. It gives Cordelia the closure she deserves, knowing that Chrom doesn't reciprocate her feelings for him.
@@grahamdamberger7130 at least there’s the summer time scrammble support. Though you can only unlock that if Cordelia isn’t married off. Because if she is, that support is unavailable. Why? I don’t know.
@@xanthiusdrake2775 I like to add Cyril to your list as well but Cordelia is not even close to how bad those simps are (and Hubert isn’t obsessed so much as he’s devoted to his liege similar to how Dedue, Felicia and Fredrick are devoted to their respective liege)

This is why it’s better to just pretend that the spotpass Chapters Don’t exists (I don’t consider them canon) because they ruin some powerful scenes in the game and makes zero sense whatsoever

@@rockowlgamer631 While Yen’fey does consider himself from a different time line and Priam may or may not be a descendent of Ike (Even though Tellias and Ylisse are two different universes but whatever) the other 4 makes absolutely zero sense and 100% should be dead because Chrom would definitely cut Gangral to ribbons and makes sure he’s dead, Walhart would fight to the very end until he’s dead (he even laughs at Chrom’s idea of them working together), Considering what Robin says during their boss conversation with Aversa Robin would definitely kill her without hesitation, and Most importantly Emm fell 1000000 stories and her death is LITERALLY Chrom’s character growth to make him a better king, her being alive not only makes absolutely negative sense but also COMPLETELY DESTROYS both a powerful scene and Chrom’s character moment. Basically the Spotpass should not be canon because it doesn’t make any sense whatsoever and ruins some of the best story moments in Awakening and the only time I will accept them being playable is in FEH.

a fun and also deep and emotional detail that a lot of people don't notice, is that if Lucina has any connection with Robin, whether it be marriage or family, during the moment where you have the choice to either accept or reject Lucina's judgment on having to kill Robin after learning that Validar can manipulate Robin, when the time comes, and if you accept, she actually cannot bring herself to kill Robin and goes into tears, since she has such a strong attachment to Robin. This shows how much she cares and how attached she is to her friends and family, and does not want to lose them.
I love the timing with this tier list after Mekkah's playthrough. Overall I agree with the tier list with the exception of a couple of characters. You can see detailed opinions in the comment section with Mekkah's playthrough, but Cordelia, Nah and Aversa. Like no. Especially Cordelia. I have issues with her especially with the context with Severa.
Honestly, my favorite unit pairing in the game has to be Lon'qu and Nowi their contrast of personalities makes it rough in the beginning but the S class support is so wholesome and I think they are great

Why do all the child units in this video have grey hair? Weird. Anyways Sumia being Divine Goddess is easy, I married her in a playthrough or two. But I’d also put Say’ri there too, hell I’d put all of female characters, (minus Morgan, Nowi, and Nah) in divine goddess… why yes I am a simp. Also you forgot Priam… just like everyone else forgets about him. I feel like Priam was in the wrong game.
Child unit's hair is determined by the father, ergo they can be any color. The grey is probably the way whatever website decided to display their hair.

I wish Awakening gets a remake
that's a dangerous wish though, because when a game gets a remake, you have to pray and hope that they don't screw it up. Plus there are some elements that exist in the original that if they were switched out in the remake, it would ruin it.
@@xanthiusdrake2775 true, but IS handled Echoes really well and honestly all I want is all the DLC and smooth battle transitions lmao everything else could just stay as is
@@Elite_Teach did they though? because once you see the problems that FE: Echoes has its pretty bad, for one the maps are cut and paste, the enemy variety is REALLY bad, (with a few exceptions in a few maps) another problem was the inventory system, which was garbage.

@@sunniestglobe5717 Selena isn't nearly as over the top or over bearing as Severa, yes they look the same and have similar traits but it's not 1-1 the same, and the stuff that's different about Selena is what I admire.

She has grown up and isn't the same as she was in Awakening, Yes her Tsundere quirks and competitive edge are still there but to claim that she's the same as before completely undermines her characterization in Fates, the same way Laslow and Odin while similar aren't the identical to their Awakening versions.
