Either its a plot hole or something darker.
-In b2w2 there are constant mentions of Hilda/Hilbert and we even have a device for communication known as
X transreciever or something.
( I will refer to only Hilbert rn since I played with him in Black)
- Team Plasma is reborn yet Cheren/Bianca do not call Hilbert to save Unova ( since they were legitematedly the trainers of ONE of the Dragons)
- When Cheren decides to summon the dragons , he summons N not Hilbert whom he is closer to and knows is the stronger trainer.
- When N saves Rosa/Nate from Kyurem's Ice attack , Ghetsis says he was expecting HIM to show up.
They even managed to shove Oleana's head and Rose's foot in for a split second during Bede's scene. So many characters and references put into all these frames, god I love this video.

I like the gen 5 brother trio, Diantha, and the gen 6 rivals. They're just casual friends doing their own thing, literally the most realistic characters.

The whole Unova Gang part hit me real hard considering that there are theories of Ghetsis having killed Hilda/Hilbert between the timeskip.
That wouldn't make sense, hilbert and hilda are looking for n... who went back to unova when they were looking where he went. Ghetsis spent most of time during the timeskip plotting his every move, he needed kyurem's power at unlocked so he hired colress to handle that for him. Zinzolin felt like n was a pawn all along and he was more loyal to ghetsis then to n, so he was in with the plan. Plus ghetsis wouldn't have been able to kill hilbert/hilda because kyurem wasn't at full power till the player goes into its den and hilbert/hilda reshiram/zekrom was stronger than n's zekrom/reshiram. Plus n would known since zekrom/reshiram would have told him about this due to the SAO trio being connected.
@@WildWeavile Fun fact: in the pokemon manga during the final chapter of the Black and White arc Ghetsis pins Black to Reshiram's body just as it was reverting back into its orb form forcing Black to be sealed in said orb that was lost for two years. N with Zekrom and White eventually reunited with the orb after they were able to locate its ware bouts

Jk. I think this may hold true considering Ghetsis's personality.
And again N showed up pretty easily when Cheren called him , I really doubt whether Hilbert went in search of him and still couldnt find him.
Morever he is never even seen throughout the game and Iris is the champion.... Meaning that his search for N lasted for a pretty long time..
Besides this theory actually raises stakes for the battle against Ghetsis and adds an emotional weightage to it.
@@WildWeavile I honestly don't think the theory is to far off, especially considering that, if Ghetsis WAS calculating his every move, then he would need to calculate who would stop him. His two biggest threats, at the time, would have been N and Hilda/bert.
@@sageblast3143 except they originally intended on the player characters being able to fight so obviously any theories on their deaths are just headcanons as opposed to lore.

They don't show it in the game, of course. But it CAN happen.

When GameFreak did a survey on fans after BW released they where shocked that the Subway Masters won the popular character (or character design) vote. That's why they're in the video :)
I believe the survey was done in Japan? I don't know the full details but I believe the Battle Subway was voted for one of the best features introduced in BW

The fact that a 1-2 minute video could be broken down into a 30 minute video means that they put so many goddammit details and I love it
My favorite moment has to be that the video didn't spoil the B2/W2 Champion. In every main Pokemon game I was always knew who the champion was by either the game telling you or just by simple context. But in my White 2, I never figured it out until I was face to face with the Champion.
Truly an amazing video.

I want this animation and art style so bad. The Pokemon series deserves some well animated fight scenes, and added depth to the characters along with some tribulations to conquer
It would be really cool if these characters they showed as the "main characters" were the protags for Gen 9. They give off Gen 5 vibes, maybe its the crazy hair or something. This video was extremely well done, thank you for putting the time in to analyze this frame by frame for the community. My favorite moment was probably the transition from Hilda to N to Hilbert. Black and White were my favorite games, and they hold so much emotion for me.

The red that flies across May’s face are the flowers from the caves where you beat Wally before the Pokémon league
2 things:
First, I think the main characters of the music video is a shout out to the two protags from Let's Go Pikachu and Eevee.
Second: Back when they showcased all the trainers and their main types, when the boy character got his face smashed by the metal pan, Pikachu fell off of his head, and when the girl character ran and jumped off at the end with the Flying types, Eevee falls off.

@@francescosaveriosalzillo4187 They're still Selene and Elio in USUM, their newer design represents how much more acclimated they are to the region since they're no longer newcomers. They even had the exact same hairstyle before they were redesigned.

I went by frame by frame for some parts of the video too, in particular the Mewtwo vs Selena and the Sw/Sh protag vs Leon! I have to say those 2 parts were my favourite and were beautifully animated. The "high" part of the chorus also hits perfectly in those parts of the video, which just makes it that much sweeter! There's still a LOT I missed though - such as Gold/Ethan's Tyranitar - so thank you for covering this masterpiece of a music video!
I wish ZInnia would have been in it, but kudos for sitting down and going through it frame by frame!

Old video, but I rewatched Acacia again for the feels, and the lyrics hit so hard even if there's not a single reference to Pokémon. The movement of the animation and the timing of the lyrics also mean a whole lot, it's insane how much work was put into each frame of that video. It's why I love Pokémon so much as a series, it's immaculate.
Fun fact, the reason why Blue has Venusaur is that Japan's release of the original games was actually Red and Green, and his name was Green in those games.
Also, at the beginning of the MV (0:28 in this vid) you can see a character behind the male MC- that's Rie Matsumoto, the director of the video! You also see her during the end credits, although it's from behind the couch this time. It's a nice nod to how much work she, as well as all of the animators at BONES INC, put into this video.

The first shot of the four guys is a reference to Red and Blue where the TV in your room is showing “four boys walking on a railroad”
Some of the ones that I spotted that went unnamed were Moltres, Xerneas, Oleana and Chairman Rose.
The railroad scene is reference to Pokemon Red, Blue and Yellow. When you start a new game, go downstairs and then press A on the TV, it'll say 4 boys are walking on a railroad.
Even though I don't think they will do anything with the Original characters, I would still love to see them again someday

Gotta love how Ingo and Emmet went from “minor characters” to suddenly becoming such a *huge* deal for a lot of non-Japanese fans since “Legends: Arceus” came out. With this music video in context they had a huge spike in popularity in only a year! Makes you wonder what Game Freak has planned for them and this ongoing “Faller” plot line they’ve been hinting at for the past few generations.

At 24:15 that is actually champion Green, that's why he emits a green aura and chose a grass type Venasaur as a starter. In the translated Pokemon Adventures comics, his name was changed to Blue, but in the original Japanese manga, he is Green.
At the very end, I like to think that the Black and white character is the playable character on the very first pokemon game where it's all black and white. I always tear up whenever I see him doing his little wave
I bet few people can recognize Wally in 23:56. That is when the protag leaving the Victory road and Wally asked for a fight. This scene is so familiar to me since Ive played emerald (and some of its ROM hack) for about ten times.

Just found another minor Easter Egg, the gym leader types are in sequence of type effectiveness, eg Water goes into electric which goes into ground etc. (water is weak to electric which is weak to ground etc.). This goes on for every type up until fairy however fairy is strong against the next type which is dragon, and we know dragon is super effective on itself. Then steel and normal which idk what happened there but from there it starts again with normal into fighting into flying. They could've done fairy into steel into fighting into flying and then done normal and dragon last but there are too many in order for it to be a coincidence, right? Just another really cool and thoughtful detail I thought I'd mention.
p.s. ghost goes into dark into bug and then fairy ruins it for those wondering about that part
The last pokemon in the ghost section was the diamond pearl, and platinum ghost gym leader, shes in the back somewhere, and hops last poke is corvaknight
