Thank you for trying to find the error. I know it was inconclusive. But it was great to watch you work through it.
I just ordered a INR4 GYB for my car. Hopefully it calibrates and binds no problem!
They released an update for the transmitter and receiver to eliminate the issue some users had :)
Been using GYB in a drift car, twice a week at an actual drift track for more than a year. Recent change to a Flysky servo make it even better. To me and the people who tried my car, this gyro feel better than anything else, except maybe a well configured 550. I have seen a few calibration issue over the time, but i usually cancel and retry right away and it work.
Yeh i tried everything i can think of but it worked every time.
Can you share what best setting for drift?
Just like a normal gyro the settings will be totally different for each RC/servo set up so it's best just to test each setting and find out what works for your RC :)
With my Noble Pro with firmware 1.0.5 and out of the box receiver I have recreate the calibration fail error with receiver installed on the side. For the first time the gyroscope is not calibrated correctly (i.e., when the receiver is installed sideways, the gyroscope operates as if it were installed normally upward). After this, we do the usual update of the receiver through the transmitter and after the update the gyroscope is not calibrated.
The noble pro needs to be on 1.0.5 and receiver on 1.0.8 from assistant v3
i no this is a month old but i have just upgraded to the nb4+ from the nb4 and all my gyros wanna just go left ,,, if i go back to the nb4 there all fine any ideas??
Run calibration on the gyro
@@WTFRCCars i have and the assistant has updated the nb4+ and still no change
Have you updated the inr4 receivers ?
@@WTFRCCars yes i have may just return the nb4+
It's a strange one the 2 inr4 receivers I have work fine with nb4 and nb4+
Same issue over here but I managed to solve the calibration problem. My setup is Flysky Noble NB4 (hardware 1.2/firmware 2.0.102/rf firmware 1.32/rf module FRM301) with a INr4-GYB (hardware 1.1/firmware 1.7). Binding no problem but impossible to calibrate (calibration failed) and no gyro. Solution is to download FlySky Assistant (in my case for Windows), hook up your NB4, go to update, make sure your INr4 is connected and check receiver firmware version (refresh device). My case I have firmware version 1.7. To update your INr4-GYB to version 1.8 hit Bind/Force update button in Flysky Assistant. Once the receiver update to 1.8 is finished, you need to bind the receiver once more to your NB4. Once bound, go to SVC - and start the callibration. Now callibration will work and your Gyro is fully operational.
Yeh flysky have just released the 1.8 firmware to fix the issue :)
thanks for your procedure, this worked me too.
