My favorite part of Fridays begins here.
Me as well
Yes Indeed! Thanks Matt!!
Alfa clapping back is the best thing I've heard this year 🤣
Thanks for the update, Matt. I also noticed on the new gauge cluster on the Mustang that the fuel distance to end shows 302. Could that be a teaser to a Boss 302?
Could be, I missed that but a few others noticed that too!
Look forward to these every Friday, please keep it up!
Thanks I’ll try!
@@MattMaranMotoringIf you haven't seen the new Saleen 302 Mustang, you should check it out...would like to hear your thoughts on it.
For me it is perfect besides the little bar in the grill.
Oh man is the Bullitt shirt foreshadowing?? Really cool to see the heritage gauge cluster, interesting take on the temp gauge easter egg.
Thanks for the news as always Matt
Thanks for watching!
Wunderbar! Another Episode of the Matt Maran Friday Night Car News Show - with a lot of great topics again. Wishing everybody here a great day and a fantastic weekend ahead. Enjoy the News and your free time!
I seem to vaguely remember a TV show in the 90s with a color changing Viper. Sci-Fi coming true again.
Just change the name from Milano to Polano 🙂
Boss 302 started mid 1968
“44.4 mph” “302” and since there was a bullet already but no new boss yet it. Thoughts?
Good idea, that seems more likely!
What would the 44.4 mph be a hint for?
I'm really excited to see what that new addition to the mustang family/ sub-brand is. Could be anything from a sedan, to a mid engine c8 rival. Whatever it is, it'll be cool.
My bet is the Raptor version.
love your friday updates, great show to keep me informed and super well done dude. you are looking extra handsome today as it stands, id say its the 5 o'clock shadow.
Thanks, I appreciate that!
I knew they were going to be adding more gauge cluster options as time went on to the new mustangs. A great idea
The Alfa PR team doing better than the F1 team :)
I loved that lmaoo, good for them
Thank you Matt.
Best regards to you and the family.
Stay classy my friend.
Another great weekly update!
Thanks!
I think a gas powered Recon would be awesome & sell extremely well. It reminds me of the Bronco Sport, which is a good thing since I see that SUV everywhere now.
This new mustang gauge. Is this new form factor of a dash or just new digital ones in the same horrible 2010 style bezels of a cheap tablet?
Digital
Hello Matt, great video as usual! Only one small thing: the g in "folgore" is pronounced like the g in the english word "got". Also the accent is on the first o.
Thanks Matt!
Thanks for watching!
Notice something you picked up recently in the background
Haha great hanging out with you this week and thanks for checking out the video!
Love the subtle nod to the 4Runner at 15:45.
I know it’s early, but the 60th Anniversary Mustang in Wimbledon White is my favorite S650 so far! I think the new body lines lend themselves well to a convertible, and the red accents are fun. Seems like it’s only appearance though? The 50th was a PP1.
I Liked Your 1967 /68 Fastback T-Shirt. Good Show, Matt' Daddy. (smile)
I love that white color for the mustang!
8:58 min - Wow!!! 😮
*1:52** The odometer does show 1968, but the gas gauge also shows 302 mi. until E. I was thinking maybe the Boss 302, but that came out in 1969. Unless it came out as a '69 model and was actually sold in 1968. That's all I can come up with.*
RPM reads 61... maybe for 61st year or 2026
As I told you earlier this year I told you there was a Shelby coming from Shelby America I didn't know was a GT650 and not only is that coming for Ford is going to be building what I believe and what I've been told is a GT350 hybrid My information on the Shelby's 650 were were sources that Shelby America
Why wouldn't those colors rechange from the sun if all that's needed is heat and a color hue?
It needs to be a specific wavelength of light to change.
@@MattMaranMotoring gotcha, thanks for the clarification.
I find the plastic silver fake vents on the Mustang grill hideous!
They should definitely put the prime power train in the sienna. The current set up is gutless compared to the old v6 model
I agree, that would be a great upgrade.
Can you tell us when the ND3 Miata embargo releases?
I haven’t heard of one. I don’t think there’s a media drive for it.
We’re not getting a next gen gas X3M if I remember correctly
I think’s is most likely a PHEV.
There was pictures of one with a quad exhaust so I think it’ll return.
Matt, color changing cars?!🤔 Good idea,💡 but there is probably some legal ramifications.
4:44: You forgot to include a timestamp here, so for anyone who noticed it missing, here it is.
Boss 302! Also reads 302 miles to empty.
except boss 302s were manufactured in 69 and 70.
Good catch! Could be!
Matt, why can't Automakers set all their specs in stone as cars come out?
Sometimes they’re making tweaks to the car still or eating on certifications to come back.
@@MattMaranMotoring Oh ok thanks. I do love the video. On your next video, Will you talk about why aren't cars immune to not having any issues?
I wouldn't take that color-changing paint patent too seriously. We haven't even seen that this is even possible, let alone thinking it might be right around the corner. BMW showed off their recent concept car in panels wrapped in color changing material but those were essentially lit screens (i believe similar to e-ink) and not actual paint. You can change the color of metal parts by annodizing them, but again, thats not paint either. What Toyota is describing seems purposefully vague and at this point seems like fantasy.
I have been a Mustang fan for decades. Learned to drive on one, had a 98 Cobra, a 2009 GT500, a 2019 Bullitt, and finally a ‘22 EB as a daily. The EB is now gone - the 10R80 took a dump at 4k miles and the car had two recalls, including the low-pressure fuel pump. I wish Ford would focus on good engineering and quality construction and not on gimmicky trim packages. The company has lost its way……..love the Bullitt and will keep it, but not buying another ford. I traded the ‘22 EB for a ‘23 WRX - what a much better car.
That Italian law is so stupid. The name junior is not good.
Alfa Romeo is so correct like a lot of people fail to realize like these car manufacturers only have so much to say with the governments right around the world if they could make more cool stuff I bet they would. Anyways it's funny and just tells you the world we live in😂
Plug-in hybrid for a Tundra would be the most useless complication to simply add weight and increase the unstable danger issues of ev batteries. Plug-in batteries are not safe. Hybrid toyota batteries are very safe.
The front end of this ‘stang is frankly hideous, way too fussy and an assault to the eyes. I’m a 19 Bullitt owner so love the clean look.
IMO Jeep has priced themselves out of the market. You can get a NICE Mercedes GLE or GLS for some of the Grand Cherokee prices or Wagoneer prices. Meanwhile, Hyundai, Kia, Subaru and GM have some VERY competitively prices SUV's well equipped for a decent price.
Ford half hassing it is what I'd expect. I'd pay extra for analog gauges and even more for retro looking ones. I see no benefit to digital gauges to the consumer given how few things you need to see while driving
Toyota's color change would be awesome, so likely it will never happen.
The new X3 is EXTREMELY bland looking…..I’m sure it’ll sell like crazy. 🤷🏼♂️🙄🤔
The iX3 will be the Neue Klasse X - there are spy photos of it around with similar styling to the concept
Alfa Romeo is a sore loser here. "There are bigger things to worry about than the name of the car": and it's apparently Alfa that's worried about the name. Italian government isn't worried about the name of the car - they're worried that the Italian car is not manufactured in Italy, and the name is one bit of leverage they have. This is Italy's policy, not something someone decided to when they found out about this particular car. I'm with the Italian government there: Alfa, an Italian company, building the car in Eastern Europe so they can make more money while somewhat robbing Italian economy (job loss) - demanding that the name be not Italian as this is unpatriotic is completely justified. Alfa Romeo is being a sore loser here complaining about the situation in roundabout way.
Tesla is getting too cute with designs. They should focus on quality and keep it simple. 👍🏾
Companies talk like they're delaying EVs, but those investments never really stopped. I suspect that Stellantis is watching for the next opening as these changes tend to happen in waves.
Should i sell my 109k miles 2018 zl1
No, it's now broken in.
Toyota should rebrand the Grand Highlander to Highlander and Highlander to E-lander or Highlander BZ
Yikes. No.
My 300 hp porsche has a top speed of 179-180mph. Convertible 718. EV’s are 100% lying numbers. Stupidity
Who buys Mazi's. There unreliable and they have the worst depreciation in the market.
0:57. oh Landy, that's a cheap looking IP. Thanks for quality content.
