Yeah it seems like everyone has moved forward while Honda is happy to have low hp still. I mean their cars are still fun but it is interesting compared to the rest of the industry.

Those Ferrari headlights looks something like an 80s designer would make with current tech. It’s like pop up headlights. It’s so cool and futuristic!
Prelude was $23k in 1997, which is about $45k today.
It kind of reminds me of the CRZ.

Man, with all these F1 constructors keeping their ICE cars with Euro regs allowing them to use synthfuels, they need to leverage the FIA to bring back the noise with performance hybrid NA engines in F1. Bring back the noise with at the least some V8s that rev to the stratosphere!

It seems like the Prelude will be priced beyond it's target demographic. It reminds me of the original IS300 where it appealed to 20 year olds but was priced for 40 year olds.

Hi Matt, once again great review on your channel. I have two questions , 1) do you think Audi will ever make a RS 5 convertible ? 2) Do you think Jeep Grand Cherokee could get Hurricane 540 hp engine? because I'm in the market for a new SUV with some power I have a 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit, I would like to stick with Jeep but considering Audi SQ8 . DO NOT like were BMW and other manufacturers are going with these big screens for the dash. I still like a hood over my gages in front of me. Any suggestions ?
Hey Michael! I’m not sure if the RS5 Convertible will return, but you could always get a used one. The Grand Cherokee might get the standard output hurricane or maybe the high output in an SRT version, we’ll just have to wait and see. There’s also talk of the new Wagoneer S getting the Hurricane motor too, might be one worth waiting for if you’re not in a hurry.
BMW just is not interested in drivers cars anymore >5,000lb M5 is a joke. Not a single base M car significantly below 4,000lbs. Halo M car a 6,000lb SUV.
I disagree. All cars are now much heavier than they were because of ever-increasing safety regulations. Unfortunately for BMW, as well as meeting these regulations, they have to also build in luxury and performance…….this translates to weight.
That Ferrari is gorgeous. I didn’t like the 812 at any angle but this doesn’t seem to have a bad one.
Honda should listen to Matt. Fit this Prelude as a replacement for the Civic coupe and you will do well. Selling it higher than the BRZ/GR... you have a tough road. If the vehicle flops, don't blame buyers by saying.... see, they don't want coupes.
Yea the new BRZ and GR drive great! But this is probably heavier... front wheel drive... and less power.. and then more expensive?? Doesn't make sense.

In all honesty, I'm not too disappointed about the prelude 207 horsepower would still be decent in a coupe and if 204 HP is adequate in Accord this should perform decent.

Heavy powerful cars destroy tires and the process and materials used to make tires is not eco friendly at all. BMW should try to keep the weight at 1800kg. This is getting out of hand. People never mention the amount of indirect pollution heavy cars produce and how they destroy the roads.
Cars are getting heavier because of 2 things…….safety, and customer demand.
People want huge performance, excellent build quality and luxury. Unfortunately, all of these come with a big side helping of weight. Combine this with all the extra safety gear that is now required to pass tough safety laws, and it’s basically impossible to reduce weight.
Unless you use expensive materials……which bumps the price up massively, which means customers won’t buy the cars. There’s no getting away from it I’m afraid.
I don't want new Bentaygas. I want a smaller Bentley suv! The Bentayga is a Q7 platform. I want a Q5 platform Bentley. Please make that! Plus, maybe in coupe styled form too.

What are you driving these days? Ferrari 12 cylinder, which one, the 12 cylinder, which one, the 12 cylinder. Body is a bit boring for what is probably the last one without a hybrid. 599 f12 had at least a cool air bridge

Guess Ferrari isn't buying into the go woke mindset, which is smart. EVs are for individuals who are nerds. Us motor heads want big motors burning high octane gasoline.
I am a nerd motor head who also likes the band. I am 29 but even when I am 92 I won't drive EVs. Thinking about buying a 70 Dart soon....it isn't my first choice but the seller is willing to let me do monthly with no interest so that is very appealing.
