I’ve always used bench-mounted barrel vises, but recently installed a new floor-mounted setup at my gunsmithing shop, Precision Rifle Concepts!

Holy smokes. Just a short intro and then you say you won’t waste time and you get to it. THANK YOU. Seems like 99% of RUclips videos have loooong BS intros and talking. Nice not to have to fast forward through someone that likes to hear himself (or herself) drone on.
Tell Short action customs to make one out of a 2x2 square tube so you can use your reciver hitch on your bumber to mount a barrel vise and pop off a barrel at the range. Mine works wonders in the field.
Gavin your shop is growing just about every week.
You should not use your torque wrench to loosen things, ever. Just my opinion…
I understand torque wrenches can torque components with left handed threads
I knew someone was getting triggered over that
I've been "Planning" for a while to weld up a stand just like that one on which to mount my .50 BMG Reloading Press (Yes, as simple as it seems, I've been "planning" for about 5 or so years now but haven't gotten around to it, LOL!).
Thanks, Gavin 😁
My Reloading Press is mounted to a stand almost exactly like this! Almost zero movement when using it.
I have had really good luck using Kreg saw horse/work table combo. They are heavy and very stable (surprisingly stable) and I can move them around if I really want to.
True test is a mossin barrel removal. Thay also would be fun taking an old mossin and building a full custom match rifle and building a new lower for it as well.
Love my SAC vise. But watching you break it loose with a torque wrench was painful.
yea i cringed when he did that
It sent a shiver up my spine. Like fingernails on a chalkboard lol.
An even easier way to remove your barrel is to have an AI AX and undo the clamping bolt and unscrew the barrel by hand. Takes 10 seconds. In the field. Awesome.
Now try removing a factory Tikka Barrel.
I wrap a piece of leather around the barrel to avoid marks.
Now show us how well it works with an 30 yr old rifle barrel removal
Works great just use an external action wrench for an old factory gun. Use the nice internal wrench for reinstall or taking off a barrel you installed yourself.
@@RicksOutdoors so u have one correct and have used the tool to remove 30 yr old rifle barrel I do know remington is a pain especially on actions from the late 60s
Let me see you do that with a Tikka barrel that has not been disassembled!
So i put my sac in this vise?
I wouldn't!🙄
Dude, put nuts on the anchors before driving them into the concrete
Celebrity's Barrel swap! Who knew....
Thanks!
Ins would rather mount it to a heavy car/truck wheel rather than the floor . Then, I move it around the garage and/or move it out of the way.
I never use a torque wrench to remove a bolt.
Nice gear..
That didn't look like 90 ft-lbs
Have you removed a barrel from a lever action rifle? If not I think that would be a good challenge for you.
hi mate, whats name you torque wrench,
looks like a bar mount for a dirt bike
Hey what reloading priss do you recommend for reloading for some target and hunting
👍
👍👍
Try to take off a remington action or something hard. That action wrench dont stand a chance. Its easy on a terminus. Terminus is a hand tight. I broke one off triying to remove a remington 700 and it broke off and SAC warranty suck ass. Too late for me. DONT BELIEVE THE HYPE
Of course you got a cat shirt . Lol
😀👍‼️
Torque wrench lovers triggered
You must be busy as shit bro. Good on you
Why do reviews for products that can't be purchased? Both these presses are out of stock EVERYWHERE and have been for a long time. In fact most of SCA product are OUT OF STOCK. Looks to me like they are going out of business.
