There's two things I like about your channel. First, it is built to educate the experienced and the novice (me). You don't talk down to the new shooter and you don't talk above the new shooter. Second, I love the fact that you speak afrikaans every once and awhile. As a guy that grew up in Suriname (Dutch speaking) I can catch a lot of what you are saying. Your channel is lekker!
Warrior Poet 👊🏻
Bought one when I started thinking 1000 I'll never shot that far and now I'm thinking I wish I'd gotten more.
I bought a cheap one. Worked till it got cold then batteries died. Also only good for 300-500 yards optimal conditions, bought a razor hd4000 and never looked back. I’m not sponsored by vortex.
Would honestly be nice to see unbiast opinions on your show, i love your content and show but it gets tough to only listen to vortex and MdT products,
I'm sponsored by vortex and all the rangefinders we'll look at are from vortex. Yeah screw that.
I got my Vortex Razor HD 4000 just before I went to Switzerland, so I mainly tried it out over there. It scanned quickly in most conditions and in ELR-mode it scanned 3953m/4344yds LOS with the best conditions of the week, a while after sunset but when it was bright enough to see the trees and houses on the mountains. In daytime with a bright sun and intermediate to high humidity 2000 was easy on everything and out to about 3650m was achievable on ELR. During a rainstorm it was still able to scan houses over 2000m away with a quick scan and out to about 3100m away using ELR, but beyond that I didn't get results. That could have been due to the rain cloud not liking the point of reference I used to benchmark before, or at least it seemed to rain heavier over there. All in all I like it very much and the extra range comes in handy in adverse conditions.
I dropped my 4000gb down an mountain side 600m bouncing off rocks. It was cased in a hip sack. It survived no problems at all.
Well a shooter is always aware of his/her surroundings. Backstops if you will. lol Plus think we just looking at all the goodies in the background.
Ranger 1300 or Diamondback 2000?
Thanks for watching guys, please like and subscribe! To support the channel shop here -
So I have the Razor 4000 rangefinder as well. I find it really hard to hit small targets. Like. 10” plate at 400-500 yards is doable but tricky to get a range. It’s best if you have a large landmark next to the target.
Awesome Piet, Loving the WPS shirt too, that would be a cool collab for future
Tnx for great vid
I use a Leupold rx1300i tbr.
Lekker video! Warrior poet is epic!!
Awesome video! Can you do one on spotting scopes next?
