You clearly don't understand chainsaws . After a muffler mod the rpms go up therefore you need to richen up a little and adding more oil in the mix certainly won't help
@@cameronlamb7274running saws at 32.1 is not great as it will run like crap and hotter as well and also gunk everything up . Spark arrestor, carb etc . 40 .1 or 45.1 is more than enough
@@cameronlamb7274 try watching Dave's small engines , he does a test at all different mixtures . Yes tune to the mix but mix is absolutely nothing to do with a muffler mod. Yes say 40 .1 to 45.1 will run cooler but after that the saw begins to run not so good and actually struggle therefore it actually runs warmer . Try watching that vid on RUclips donny boys Apprentice done a test and the 25.1 mix he did you actually heard the saw struggle and when he took the temps it was the warmest and that nothing compared to the cokeing of the piston , exhaust, screen and carb . Try watching richard flag and see what the inside of a saw looks like with stihl ultra
Well explained and helpful. Thanks mate.
Sharpen your chain and 💯gains lol
50:1 and tune it could make a huge difference I doubt a 0.75 hp gain but I bet it helps
What’s up with your chain, buddy? That thing is dull as dirt.
Thanks man. I have an 026 about 15 years young and just changed to 50:1 runs a lot better but will check your mod out.
Why not 10 cuts with the stock?
Mine already had 3 or 4 holes inside which I enlarged. It was purchased in 91
Expansion chambers and NOS next
Instead of riching up the high screw could one use more oil in the gas, say go to 1/40 instead of 1/50?
After a muffler mod you still need to tune it and after you change oil mix you need to tune it I run everything at 32 to 1.
