Especially as a beginner it is easy to distract yourself with thinking you need better gear to be able to create the content you want to create. This is completely bs and only a way of distracting yourself from stepping into the own creative power. Thanks for triggering this inside of me to get to awareness again.
I shoot *interviews* indoors with my Sony ZVe10 and this same 16-50mm kit lens. To keep costs down and reduce carrying heavy weight on jobs, I added the *Ulanzi* WL-3 Wide Angle Adapter and now its perfect. The most useful accessory Ive purchased is the Sony Bluetooth GP-VPT2BT. It can be used as a tripod or a remote; or both. Plus the Sony Bluetooth ECM-W1M microphone is super clear and extends over a long range. You can even use clear image zoom to extend it even further. My tip is that you can lock the aperture at 5.6 and that will get rid of the variable aperture at all focal lengths.

But agree with you it is a very useful lens. I use my lens for video only .. and it, and my 18-105mm PZ are always on a body and ready to go. 16mm is ok for vlogging too. Good review Cheers.
