Sim you're funny...you know why a lot of people don't like Mike Tomlin...
I can see it already...the "guy" of their choice gets hired and goes 2-15...they are just going to say..."well, he's having to do it with Tomlin's guys"...that right there will give them an excuse for the next five years...

I do not want to see a season without tomlin. Cam said it in his interview, this team is not even in the playoffs without tomlin. I have maintaned for several years now that 2025 was the year I felt they could be serious contenders. Since ben retired they have been in rebuild mode, its just tomlin makes this team relevant where other coaches would have losing records.
This fanbase cant handle winning seasons, is it ready for 4, 5, 6 win seasons. Then they will want this coach fired for losing and want tomlin back.
We are rebulilding be thankful that some how Mike Tomlin keeps us relevant. Do you really want to be the patriots? cards, bears, panthers, etc.

I don’t see why Mason can’t at least be the Bridge QB for the next 3-5 years. He looked to me to be at least above average. Not perfect by any means but cmon it wasn’t all his fault they lost. If he was playing sooner they would’ve played a home game.

Whether it be voluntarily or involuntarily, The thought of Tomlin leaving terrifies me.
We are always in position to compete for a playoff spot, which some fans take for granted.
I recently saw a stat that said Tomlin has only coached in 1 game in his 17 year career where the team was already mathematically eliminated from the playoffs. Which to me Is much more impressive than never having a losing season. It’s often overlooked, but we always have some bit of faith towards the end of the season under Tomlin.
I’m terrified that we will go into a browns like black hole in the post Tomlin era.
It’s awful, but I can’t say that I have faith in our current ownership to make the right hire.

I completely understand what you were saying, the only push back to that is ever since 2010 the Standard seemed to be let's just get to the Playoffs to keep my job, which isn't what The Pittsburgh Steelers are all about, it's championship or bust and they have a history of winning, and as far as them being the Browns "Come on" you don't believe that deep down, Browns have bad ownership and have a history of Losing

@@tiyalewhitehurst338 this is where my point of Steelers fans being spoiled comes into play.
4 of our 6 super bowls came in the 70s with a hall of fame roster. But there is no loyalty anymore from a team or player standpoint. We built that because everybody wanted it and didn’t chase the money. The way the NFL (and world) is now, we will never recreate that team.
Only 13 head coaches have won multiple Super Bowl in NFL history. 9 of those are in the hall of fame. Teams don’t go to the Super Bowl as often as our fanbase wants to believe.

@nvpollardo40 while your point is valid we live in a "What have you done For Me Lately" world, the 70's were 50 yrs ago and people have changed(not for the better at times) What you said about winning in the 70s is the same argument the Dallas Cowboys can say about them in the 90's, yet u hear Jerry Jones talking about the rest of his time on the earth an winning another championship now

I feel like Mike Tomlin shackles the offense, so that the offense doesn’t lose games for them. In this game, it killed him in the first half because they didn’t take some things of the defense was giving them until later on in the game. But by that time it was too late. Mike Tomlin has to stop making the offense play not to lose.

Minkah had a bad game. He was rusty. The defense was horrible. The offensive line wasn't as solid as last week, nor Mason. My hat still goes off to Mason with his efforts the past 3 weeks. Sometimes, the playoffs come, and a bad game is played. For example, the COWBOYS. I look forward to 2024 and the decisions the Steelers make.

you need to make some changes, all the "donations" are annoying, they interrupt the flow and the applause is way to long. Also your opening should be a quick summary not a 10 min. greeting to everyone. Just some observations that I feel would make your show smoother. (like last year when you always had the burps and I suggested drinking water and baking soda before the show, which you seem to be doing)
