I mowed my sisters front yard yesterday 12/27.. Also back in Dec 1989 I was on first leave in Navy since bootcamp, at my Moms in La Grande Oregon, it was 52 degrees so I was splitting wood and mowing lawn.. =)~
True professionals, I’m glad to see you guys take so much pride in what you do. All of these developments we mow in I see people just doing things to get it done. Happy new year
whenever i mow, i try to mow in a different patterns. up, down/ diagonal/left, tight. all the lawns i mow in new england will end up with ruts if i go the same way all the time.
84 in Houston Tx. Today ! No snow but the grass is not growing either! So there’s that! Plenty leaves on the grown so we know it’s fall! Keep mowing , snowing and making money guys! Enjoying your videos !Happy New Year!
Dont you just love it when your cutting wet grass and you turn off the blades and the grass built up under the deck dumps. We always have our spots in each customers your where we can dump the decks.
I use to mow this late here in Nicholasville Kentucky. I was using a push mower. I wanted the lawn kept low because I use to over seed my lawn before we had our first decent snow. It made for a beautiful lawn in the spring. Now I work 70 hours a week and I hire my lawn mowed. I love my lawn guy. At 65 and not planning to retire until I’m 70, I think I’m keeping my lawn guy. Great work. Looks terrific! Happy New Year!🇺🇸

How big is that lot you did? seems large. I have .42 acre here at my house in Dayton. It takes me about an 1 1/2 hours to do my lawn. not counting the trimming part.. I like to do that a day before I mow cause it is hard on me.. But I really enjoy the mowing part.
I was doing the first snowfall of the season yesterday. I typically do two passes around the edge gives a little more space so I don't blow grass in the beds.
I did the same thing today. Well not so much the mowing but just cleaning up the machines and working on trucks and getting things done that was put on the "winter todo" list.
Wow I was just out cleaning snow off the skating rink on the frozen river -40 windchill here in Alberta Canada. Yard looks great enjoy cause the snow is coming.
With the way the weather is shaping up going into next week Shawn you might need another skid or two but like you say Keep Plowing Keep Salting Keep Making Money Stay safe and Happy New Year to the Spencer Family
I can't believe how warm it was on Christmas day here in Knoxville Tennessee it was in the 60s this weather is weird mother nature needs to get back on cue hope you all had a Merry Christmas I love the new puppy I'm down for about 15 days so I'm going to be watching a lot of videos so keep me formed keep me excited I love you too to death you're very inspirational to other couples that can work together live together have kids together y'all are just amazing couple
I live in Western Ny and we have the largest salt mine for rock salt in the eastern part of the USA. The "American Rock Salt" company and mind is In Geneseo NY which is about 30 minutes from where I Live.
Your lovely wife wears pink well and I liked the size of that coffee cup. Good job guys, I am new on board so looking forward to more adventures. May God bless.
Wow! 2 months later and just look at those stripes in the back yard! I cannot believe those stripes look that good after that much time. NOBODY can fault your stripes. Lookin goooodd! And here I thought the weather was strange in TN., here it is almost New Years and you are mowing one day and plowing the next. :D Get'er dun Shawn, Get'er dun.
I scope the yard, then start the mower, that way no stoppin’ me now!! 😜🤣 … I too, have a huge pine tree in my front yard, so over the pine cones and falling branches!
Stay Safe Spencer Family...Praying for Money but Not Really Snow...(I know you' all don't have money trees) Just want to send great thoughts to OHIO from the Eastern Shore Of VIRGINIA...God Bless As Always.
😂😂😂 it’s crazy how green the grass in are area is still, last year at this time was a whole different story ❄️☃️ but those stripes you made was lookin like spring time 🔥🔥 we need some snow 🌨 Now!!!!
Working in lawn care in Michigan and we were doing Fall Cleanups until December 20th this year and didnt start until maybe the last week or so in November.
man that forklift operator was scaring me when he was pulling up to your truck lol, thought he was going into your tailgate and when he stopped super hard like that I thought the skid of salt was going to come off the forks lol
Most of the time a push mower is worse in situations like that. The small wheels can end up carving out tracks that look worse than just taking the Grandstand on it. Trimmers are great for super soft areas like that.
I don’t know how your wife does it. After working all day with you I assume her house chores and meals need done. She always has a smile. Your lucked out with your partner.

When you are mowing a customer's property, do you cross mow? I mean mow it North to South this time and then East to West the next time you do that property? Just curious.
Made that yard look great for the conditions you had. You have a stripe kit underneath behind the mowing deck? I have the checkmate that attaches to the stand, but it can be a nuisance at times making the bumps more stiff in my knees. Keep grindin, and TQ did a killer job with that trimmer.
You do an amazing job. And at least that yard is large enough to where it makes sense using as large of a mower as you use. The lawn companies around where I live use mowers like yours on neighborhood yards that only take 2 or 3 loops with that size mower lol
I'm dealing with a new landlord who has decided to hire a company to cut and maintain the yard. Unlike you, they don't seem to care about the nuances of moisture present during the lawn care process. In 3 weeks they destroyed all of the hard work I put into the in some places, months old lawn. Now I have to try to convince him to fire them and let me do it again... they literally mowed in pouring rain and just destroyed everything. They mowed well into November. Grrr. It's appreciated that you took moisture into account.
I had the same issues with the ground being soft last week on 12/22. Final cut and cleaning I just started off high and tiered it down and anything laying I lifted the deck and chose a new direction to avoid rutting up the yard and it cleaned all leftover grass and leaf clippings! What blade's you using? That time of year I switch between the copperheads mulching blade's and Oregon G6 extremes.. Great at mulching and pulverizing leaves with no bagging required..

3-1/5 to 4 is so healthy for a nice fescue yard.... keeps it looking like spencers lawn has it
Hard work,& love. Great words to live by . Have a blessed evening.💯❤️🙏🏾✝️🙏🏾👍🏾😀🇺🇸
Absolutely have a blessed new year!
Love that back yard. Reminds me of our yard growing up in small town Pennslyvania. Can easily lay out a Wiffleball field.
I'm shocked the grass is still green there as long as it has been. Does it stay green all winter? Nothing but brown yards where I'm at.
That yard looks beautiful. Great job as always.
Merry Christmas and a happy new year to Shawn, TQ and your family. Thank you for providing quality entertainment and a wonderful service.
That grass knows it's nice and green. Great job 👍 keep it up.

Talk about perfect timing for a coffee cup, just broke mine and needed a new one.
No mowing on Cape Cod today. It was 46 degrees but cloudy very wet out sine the weekend rains.

You're not the only one. Mine needs cutting as well. I live in the UK and I'm sure my grass is still growing.

You're good people to help as you do. Surprised you didn't tie off the skid so it didn't slide as that gentleman did on the highway that you helped.
Getting primed for winter . Yard was nice an green 👍.
Was very green

I was thinking the samething
Working in lawn care in Michigan and we were doing Fall Cleanups until December 20th this year and didnt start until maybe the last week or so in November.
We mow our grass all year round April to October every week, October to April every other week it was 81 today here in Houston
Oh nice! always have something to do.
man that forklift operator was scaring me when he was pulling up to your truck lol, thought he was going into your tailgate and when he stopped super hard like that I thought the skid of salt was going to come off the forks lol
Seems like a push mower might be useful in certain situations as opposed to utilizing a string trimmer.
I don't know I don't mind using the trimmer to do that
