Pearl Jam/Eddie Vedder “I Won’t Back Down” on Tom Petty’s guitar at Fenway Park 9/2/18

Vedder paid tribute to Tom Petty night 1 by using Petty’s guitar that Tom gave him before he passed away. EV said it was only the second time he has taken the guitar out of its case to play since Tom gave it to him.

Wow, beautiful 😊👍. Eddie vedder keeps giving me reasons for being a huge fan. Pearl Jam is how i met my wife at a PJ concert in 1992 we got married a year later and 30 years later im stull a grateful lucky guy! We just saw PJ for the 29th time and we'll be at Ohana festival to watch eddie perform Sept 30th😁👍. Our daughters are huge fans and our 5 year old granddaughter is becoming a fan, 3 generations strong here!! Cant imagine what my life might have turned out had i not gone to that PJ concert back in 92. I went i fell in love and its good to be alive one more day.
