Have been loads of Indigenous bands over the years. All that I have seen are bloody fantastic! None better than these guys and what a Frontman was George!

George was such an exciting front man, and what a wonderful friend and musical companion he had in Neil.

I'm fairly certain that's Al Murphy on drums DM. I cut my teeth as a rock photographer at this event and went on to shoot
some of Au's best bands over many years. Thanks to Stompem Ground for
the memories and kickstarting my career. Hello to all at Troppo Sound, the local production outfit.

Fire! Fire! Fire Fire Fire! Warumpis missed the mark a few times, but they held it together for strong rhythm. The crowd favourite was YY all the way.
Watched this whole thing all night on simulcast. Loads of very good bands that night. Loved Scrap Metal and Mixed Relations. There was another great three piece that sang a song called 18-wheeler. They were hot too. Name eludes me. Must get the VHS video tape out some time. What a night.
