I can't believe there's an edited version of this film that cuts out that line from the Swedish princess and Eggsy's hilarious surprised reaction to hearing it.
So disappointing. People who found it "controversial" just didn't get the joke. The hero gets the girl, but this movie turns it up to 11 so the hero gets a literal PRINCESS offering buttsex
@@trequor People found that line to be controversial? What about the firm stance Colin Firth took in the church? That seems way more likely to trigger someone.
This is without a doubt one of the best Action-Comedy Spy films and love the cast consisting of Taron Egerton, Colin Firth, Mark Strong, Samuel L. Jackson, Sofia Boutella and especially Sir Michael Caine.
Honestly, both movies have pretty stacked lineups. In the sequel, we got Julianne Moore, Jeff Bridges, Channing Tatum, Halle Berry, and Pedro Pascal (who unfortunately got done dirty with the marketing)
I saw the movie in theaters and we had the unrated cut here. Then I saw the film later and that scene was removed and I was like "wtf is this shit" lol
Yes I saw it in theaters too and it wasn’t cut. Also the information I am finding online says the US version isn’t cut. So I’m a bit confused by the claim this is a “US cut”
I've seen it since then, as well. Was the same cut as the theatrical version. It would be interesting to know where she got this copy, so it can be avoided.
The camerawork is especially good during action scenes in part because of the action choreographer Brad Allan; a lot of his moves demand moving shots to really show them off. Matthew Vaughn and Edgar Wright are especially good at making his choreography shine. He was Jackie Chan's protégé and it really shows. Brad also had a hand in Scott Pilgrim vs The World, Pacific Rim, Shang-Chi, Kick-Ass, The World's End, and a bunch of other films with great action scenes. He died aged 48 in 2021. He's a big part of why these movies hit as well as they do.
One thing from the comic they didn't include was Pierce Brosnan. Both the comic and film make fun of James Bond, but in the comic Brosnan is one of the celebrities imprisoned by Valentine, and when Eggsy is going through the base, he breaks Brosnan out, Brosnan grabs a rifle, and starts fighting beside Eggsy
Same! I wonder if she had parental controls on so they got the cut that would satisfy the national broadcast censors. Like how all the Die Hards got ridiculously censored.
Sofia Boutella is *so* good in this. Not only does she act really well in a minor role, but because she was a dancer before an actor the vast majority of the final fight is actually her. She even makes the little details cool, like when she lands after Eggsy stabs her with his shoe and she turns round twice while sliding. Seeing her name attached to something is a pretty strong motivator for me to watch it.
Glad she got to see the full version of the Princess in the cell. Kudos to Reese. I liked the explosion and "No" edit. Good job. I think you have your work cut out for you with Ange.
@@TheChiraagG this isn’t a US cut. The US version is uncensored. Her editor got it wrong. The version she’s watching was either specifically cut for the platform she’s watching on, or she somehow ended with a non-US version.
The idea for the comic this was based on came from a drunken talk Mark Millar had with the movie's director, Matthew Vaughn (who also directed "Kick-Ass", based on another Millar comic) about how spy movies had gotten so serious lately
Literally everything I can find says the scene is NOT cut in the US. I watched this movie in theaters with my dad and the scene was not cut. I have no idea what y’all are talking about with this being the US cut - sounds like maybe it was cut for whatever specific platform she’s watching it on.
R-rated films aren’t usually my thing, but this film is one of the few exceptions on my list. I remember watching it on HBO several years ago just out of nowhere. I actually enjoyed it. The most iconic line in my opinion would be manners maketh man. There are a handful of already established actors in this spy thriller, but it introduced the world to Taron Egerton. His character Eggsy had me cracking up nonstop. He’s landed a number of breakout roles ever since. Other reactors have finally been getting into this film including but not limited to Sebscreen, Rico Presents, Nikki & Steven, Movies with Mary, Alex Hefner, and of course Blind Wave.
In the cut with the Princess after Eggsy asks for a kiss the Princess replys with something along the like of "We can do it in the @$$hole." Which gives Eggsy extra motivation and he leaves with a smile on his face. At the end the movie zooms in on her ass while Mycroft is/was watching from the glasses, then it cuts to credits. It explains why they are together in the 2nd one which you musta forgot some things about. Like how Colin Firth has an eyepatch in the sequel.
"if you save the world you can do it up the ass! " and if you check the code "2624" of the doorlock, in the Telephone numbers/letters arrangement the code to the princess door is "ANAL"

I remember watching this one in the theater, and it was glorious enough to get me to go back more than once XD One of the things that I love the most about it is that it really does genuinely subvert your expectations when it comes to things like the biggest, most spectacular fight scene in the movie: the scene in the church. Like, on the one hand, it is _phenomenally_ well filmed and performed, and yet... you feel kind of dirty for enjoying it as much as you do, given that not a single person in that fight had any sense of true free will. They were forced to fight with everything they had, and could not stop themselves.
This movie is straight 10/10. Im really glad it's starting to get more love and attention from reactors. Also, the church scene in a way was slight of hand also. They use distraction points and parts where something is blocking the camera to create hidden cuts to give it that one take feel. Still so masterfully done and for sure a beautiful moment!

This is one of my favorite films ever, tying with Scott Pilgrim vs. the World with Michael Cera.
I don’t care either but I do have a suggestion I’ve been saving for all my reaction channels and you brought it up. Digital projectors are getting super cheap (60-80) for low definition hdmi projecting and sometimes come with cloth screens. Seeing films this way is better for the eyes and can help with consistent lighting as the screen reflects less light. Especially older movies were meant to be seen from far away in lower definition. Anyway, just something to think about 👍
Most random fact I never expected to learn from this movie is the room Password. The password was 2625 which spells “Anal” which is expected because of the end
The cuts there because I'm guessing somehow you got a centered version of the film. What really happened was the princess said that if he saved the world successfully when he came back they could engage and a particular adult activity involving penetration in a certain area of the body that is utilized for waste removal. That's I guess kind of a classic way of saying it.
I'm not sure how they shot the water rising scene, but something went wrong with the rigging, because the water rose too fast, so the panic on the actors' faces was very real.
There was a cut. When Eggsy says "I've gotta save the world" Princess says: "if you save the world, we can do it in the asshole" "I'll be right back" But cutting the line out is a weird choice tbh
I saw this in the theaters in the U.S. and they most certainly had that line with the princess in it. I may have seen the NC-17 version, because I think they had two versions of the movie out at the time in the U.S., but I can't honestly recall 100%. Such a delightfully ridiculous, self-aware, and fun take on the spy movie. I'm sure someone has mentioned this before, but Samuel Jackson admitted during the press junkets for this movie that he actually grew up with a lisp and that it was only with great effort and training with a speech therapist that he was able to get rid of the lisp. I'd be very interested to know if he had any issues after filming with the lisp returning that he had to work with someone again. I feel like that is one of those things that you can possibly fall back into if not careful, especially depending on how many years he had it originally.
I absolutely love this movie, especially the church scene. The fight choreography combined with the music is perfect... And I'm not even a fan of freebird.

Easily one of my favourite films ever, have re-watched so many times I can't count. I remember seeing the trailer in the cinema featuring the first pub fight scene, and my friends and I instantly turned to each other excitedly like "we HAVE to see this!". IMHO the 2nd film The Golden Circle sucked, not sure I've watched it all the way through after first seeing it, and without seeing this one it must have made even less sense for you!
I know this is already over a year old, but I personally don't care at all about "good lighting". I personally believe, that too much light impacts the reaction greatly. Especially light that shines directly into your face. Movies are first played in completely darkened cinema's for a reason. A light shining directly in your face would be the furthest away from that possible.
When these movies were first announced, i knew of the graphic novel series by Mark Millar & Dave Gibbons (2012-2018). Mark Millar co--created Kick-A** and storylines for Marvel's Civil War/Ultimate comics. Definitely not your average spy saga. By no means like James Bond or even close to Inspector Closeau in The Pink Panther films. Action, intrigue, suspense with all kinds of humor in levels. The casting is great, the visuals are good and every moment is as crisp as reading the series itself. One sequel, The Golden Circle (2017) is not as good as the first. One prequel, The King's Man (2021) is very good and a bit more serious in tone.

Seeing films this way is better for the eyes and can help with consistent lighting as the screen reflects less light. Especially older movies were meant to be seen from far away in lower definition. Anyway, just something to think about 👍
jokes don't stop in this channel and it's great! Love it! 😁😁 Keep them coming 😜
Most random fact I never expected to learn from this movie is the room Password. The password was 2625 which spells “Anal” which is expected because of the end
Ange i loved the clip that was put in from Hot fuzz for the greater good that was fantastic. Well done to your editor.
the guy from the beginning who gets split into 2, is the same actor who plays the guy who wants to marry elizabeth in pirates of the caribbean
Angelina is just so perfect and so funny
The Kingsman series was shot at 22 FPS for the fight scenes to make them seem much faster.
One of my favourite movies. First watched it on my 23rd birthday in 2015. Eggsy became my crush❤
All the Kingsman movies were directed by Matthew Vaughn who also did the first Kick Ass movie.
We need a movie with Tom Holland & Taron Egerton together.
please watch the second movie in this series and also the prequel movie called the kings man in your future reaction videos, ange!!
If you loved this, you have to see Kick-Ass! It's the same director and same comic book writer, it's absolutely amazing!!
Easily one of my favourite movie series,, so good! It was such a different take on the classic "Spy" and espionage movie.
12:25 BEST PRODUCT PLACEMENT EVER. If I was ever presented with a platter with that, I'd be like "Oh.. I'm in heaven."
Kingsman 1>Kingsman 2>the Kingsman (prequel with differents casts). Still waiting the final trilogy, the original cast is back
lovin your editor's work
16:00 and here we go, queue the best fight scene ever filmed!
your lighting is wonderful!!
The callback to kingsmout in the edit is top notch
I'm not sure how they shot the water rising scene, but something went wrong with the rigging, because the water rose too fast, so the panic on the actors' faces was very real.
There was a cut.
When Eggsy says "I've gotta save the world"
Princess says: "if you save the world, we can do it in the asshole"
"I'll be right back"
But cutting the line out is a weird choice tbh
Fun fact: pin code 2625 (on old cellphones) means the same thing she offered in the movie.
I feel like that is one of those things that you can possibly fall back into if not careful, especially depending on how many years he had it originally.
you should see The Raid (2011) Redemtion, and The Raid 2 (2014) Berandal. it was fully action movie and pure martial arts movie.
glad I'm not the only one who saw the sequel first
I didn't care about the lighting till you brought it up and now it's all I can think of...
Fun fact: the stunt driving was done by Ben Collins aka Top Gear's former Stig and stunt driver for Daniel Craig's Bond
YEEEEES! One of my favorite movies ever!
I like the editor animation stuff in the beginning. That was hilarious!😂
THE EDITING POPPED OF AGAIN (ange.... i mean....)
I love this movie UGH, loved it way before Pedro blew up for being in the second one, but nonetheless, new fans welcome!
I absolutely love this movie, especially the church scene. The fight choreography combined with the music is perfect... And I'm not even a fan of freebird.
Glad you liked this one, fun action movie
4:26 both Jedi Masters. Please react to Golden Circle!
I love the post credit scene. The goons look at each other, because they know have ptsd from Henry. XD
I’ve never clicked on a video so fast in my life! 🤣
i love this series it's really fun!

I honestly always thought shooting the dog was a stupid test. And worst of all admonishing someone for that?? Even worse. I'd rather not join than join if you think not shooting a dog is something to admonish. And what was the point of shooting the dog? To kill your teammate for the greater good? But shame "that" scene was cut! That was such a funny scene! I would love to have seen her reaction to it!
Yeah I don’t think it was a US cut. I’m in the US, bought this on blu-ray and it’s got the full scene with the princess.
Also, the code for her cell (2625) is a joke in and of itself
You definitely need to do "2001: A Space Odyssey" and its sequel "2010: The Year We Make Contact"
I F love this movie, its actually one of my favorite movies, also btw, you have a lovely hair
The door code 26-25 at the end has a secret meaning 🤣
The second Kingsman film came out in 2017
1 and 2 were amazing! I still haven’t seen the 3rd one
I love the new editor inserts 😂 very markiplier and lixian esk
As someone who went on to read the comics after the movie, I could say that all the movies are thousand times better.
"I think I was like 16 when the second one came out." I was 24, so that made me feel so old.
Sam Jackson has a lisp in real life. He originally took voice lessons to work on the speech issues which led to acting.
great job with the receipts editor
