Bloopers for Police Story are insane. So much lights and glass gets broken. Bloopers for Who Am I? and New Police Story where Jackie slides down a skyscraper.
@@luxurybuzz3681 I think most people in the west never heard about the excellent 2004 New Police Story. The movie needs more exposure since it's one of his best for that decade. Who Am I is an entertaining one with the stunts and fights but there are many cheese moments in the movie especially some of the performance of the Caucasian actors since this is a Hong Kong movie.
oh Chris tucker did so much improve, that Jackie said in interviews that it was hard to work with Chris because his English wasn't the best, and chis talked too fast and went off script, most of the time Jackie just stayed quiet, and nodded his head at Chris prompting Chris to ask the famous line " do you understand the words that are coming out of my mouth" lol
Chris Tucker improvised much of his dialogue, as he normally does in his movies. According to director Brett Ratner, during the scene at Grauman's where Detective Carter bribes Stucky for information, there was so much improvisation between Tucker and John Hawkes that they almost did not think they could edit it together as a coherent conversation. There are still continuity errors in the dialogue for this reason.
12:34 This kind of joke won't get past censors these days. But I think it fits Lee's "fish out of water" character, where he tries to fit into American culture by mimicking Carter, not knowing the implications of mimicking him. The funniest scene in this movie.
His character is coming in without any of the racial background that makes the word so offensive. That's why it's so much more palatable, especially since the actor is not American nor Western either.
Lets make a deal for Ruh Hour Series. You leave the entire movie for Patreon cut and show us her reactions during the bloopers. Believe me, everybody is here because of the bloopers part :D
"- Detective Yu ? - No, not Yu, you ! - What ? - Do you understand the words that are coming out of my mouth ? - Nobody understands the words that are coming out of your mouth !'
One: The scene you're describing is from the third Rush Hour movie. Two: The scene in this movie that makes me laugh really hard is when Lee and Carter are dancing to War by Edwin Starr as means of bonding as partners.
So in the behind the scenes Jackie and Chris had a big language barrier when they first met, and as the production goes on Jackie teaches Chris to do his own stunts while Chris teaches Jackie more English
"Why they don't want Lee mixed in the case? Why they don't make a contract to be covered in case he gets hurt?" It's a bit more complex than that (partially, as you mentioned, to have the story moving a bit faster than that): in general, Lee is not a cop in the United States (his jurisdiction would be limited to Chinese territory. True, there are some international treaties and agreements that allow cops from foreing countries to have some jurisdiction and oficially act in other territories, but several elements have to be cleared for that, and that takes time. In a general sense, even with the personal support of the consul, for the United States and the Chinese government, Lee is a regular citizen in a foreign country, with the intention of doing stuff he is not allowed to do (and that's how international incidents are created). In the end, Lee, and not even the consul, can make a contract (or any agreement) by themselves with the FBI or the US government, it would need to be between the US and the Chinese governments. On top of that, the film plays on one of the most criticized elements of the FBI: that they basically can "kidnap" high profile investigations to have all the glory of the results, while screwing over local authorities who, maybe, did a lot of the hard work before the FBI stepped in. While the FBI has tried to clear its image and have better relationships with local authorities in recent years, the Bureau still has the authority to shun local authorities if they consider it necessary (and insisting on crossing swords with the FBI, once they have taken over a case, can very well end with federal charges). Even when the film never explicitly mentions it... besides the taken child Lee, Carter and the consul can face serious consequences if things go very wrong (and even if they work out, the act of creating a personal rift with local authorities would be enough to be punished, in the case of the consul; true, that's thinking the plot a bit too deep, but personally it makes me appreciate Lee and the consul on a different level for the personal risks they are willing to take for each other and the people they care for). "Special Agent Angelina" Keep in mind that, while this is a kidnapping case, the FBI also takes cases involving terrorism, cyber crime, counterintelligence, corruption, civil rights, international crime, significant violent crime or (if you believe the lore) paranormal activity (either to understand it or cover it up... you could end up interrogating alien life forms). Speaking of FBI related films... have you seen The Silence of the Lambs or Red Dragon? And that would be it; nice reaction and see you in the next one. Oh! And happy new year.
One of the funniest buddy cop action comedy movies ever made! There were talks of a fourth film in the series, but it was cancelled as director Brett Ratner who helmed the trilogy, was accused of sexual harrasment by several executives during the making of Wonder Woman. As of 2015, he has not made a film since. His last film was Hercules in 2014.
Ratner's been a douchy creep for years. Olivia Munn wrote stories of her encounters with him that were quite gross. She doesn't actually name him, but it's very easy to figure out who she is referring to.

Great reaction! I wholeheartedly recommend that you watch the bloopers at the end of every movie. They’re a fandom classic and iconic in their own right.
What's up with most of the reaction channels covering the most tamest of Jackie Chan flicks especially his Hollywood ones. It's like noone in the west knows Jackie Chan except for Rush Hour even the Asians there. 😆 I like to see reaction channels cover his classics like Drunken Master 2, Wheels on Meals, Dragons Forever, Armour of God 2 Operation Condor, Police Story 1-3 etc. Heck even Hong Kong movies he made during Rush Hour decade is much better like 2004's New Police Story, Rumble in the Bronx, Who Am I and Rob-B-Hood. Those titles have way better stunts and fights compared to watered down version of Jackie in Rush Hour.
Angelina I didn't expect you would do Rush Hour here but this was good and hilarious to watch and the actors did a great job and also you were great uploading and doing the commentary for this video. If you ever get a chance please react to Rush Hour 2. Love your movie reaction videos! Also Happy New Year Angelina and everyone else!
The bloopers at the end, the interaction with the police office, always have me on the floor rolling laughter... ( I have only seen one watch, none of the others.)

omggg the Rush Hour movies are my favourite movies in the world, I'm so excited you're watching this!! Also make sure to watch the outtakes AND bloopers (two different reels for some reason), PLEASE, do yourself that favour lmao.
Fun fact: I recently found out that before New Line Cinema casted Chris Tucker as Carter, they originally were gonna go with Will Smith but he turned it down. Also they were thinking about going with Dave Chappelle or Martin Lawrence as Carter
Yes his work on the Armour of God movies and Police Story 1 and 2 is especially impressive. He was the first to do many of the parkour moves in movies. The parkour we see now is an evolution of what he did.
Not all of the jokes throughout this series have aged well but I will never apologize for annually binge watching these movies Edit: If you watch the others I think I speak for a lot of us when I say it'd be cool if you include the bloopers in your reaction
Wholesome reaction, I've always loved these three movies since my childhood. These three movies always make me laugh for how wild they are with their depictions of stereotypes.
Wow watching this was really refreshing. It felt super nostalgic watching and seeing someone laugh for the time lol. I never thought about how Rush Hour might have been viewed from different backgrounds so hearing you root for Jackie like we did Chris is dope to see! We need more of that! Cause even the “gaslighting” that you pointed out lol was still hilarious on both sides ! A great time!
Just Subbed to the Channel after seeing this Angie! One of the best buddy cop movies ever! Hilarity all throughout! Chris & Jackie rocked it! The Bloopers in the Credits are hilarious! 😂😂😂
fantastic reaction as always. ive really enjoyed your channel as of late and was wondering about a particular reaction that you did to the flash pilot episode. do you have any plans on finishing maybe at least the first season?
If you want something similar to this movie, check out Shanghai Noon and the sequel Shanghai Knights. It's basically Rush Hour (including Jackie Chan starring) but in the wild west instead of modern day.
Happy New Year 2023 Angelina🍻🎆🎊 love all your videos this 2022 Now new ones 2023 and I really love your reaction to rush hour one don't forget to watch two and three next !!!
Jackie Chan does all his own stunts too. If you didn’t know, I’ve seen a video of him saying that he can’t get an insurance company to give him insurance because they say he’s too big of a risk lol and also he used to be one of Bruce Lee’s students for real a while before he passed away

Fun fact: I recently found out that before New Line Cinema casted Chris Tucker as Carter, they originally were gonna go with Will Smith but he turned it down. Also they were thinking about going with Dave Chappelle or Martin Lawrence as Carter
Chris Tucker didn’t want to do the movie at first either
All three Rush Hour movies have fantastic bloopers in the credits!
Jackie chan had always included bloopers in his HK movies credits, which was brought to Rush hour and Shang hai noon
Jackie was doing parkour before the word "parkour" was a thing...

Yes his work on the Armour of God movies and Police Story 1 and 2 is especially impressive. He was the first to do many of the parkour moves in movies. The parkour we see now is an evolution of what he did.
Not all of the jokes throughout this series have aged well but I will never apologize for annually binge watching these movies
Edit: If you watch the others I think I speak for a lot of us when I say it'd be cool if you include the bloopers in your reaction
What hasn't aged well? It's humor ABOUT cultural misunderstandings.
Of course these jokes have aged well.
My God
Did you know there is a speed limit on the 405? I heard this one dude almost reached it once. Obviously just an urban legend.
This film is a classic. Great reaction! 👍🏿 Happy New Year! 🎊

You should react to the behind the scenes. Every rush hour movie has them at the end. They're soo funny
5:38 i love it when he kicks with the wrong leg
The cab driver is the man the myth the legend 'Judo' Gene Lebell. He put Steven Seagal in a chokehold and seagal shat himself 💩🤣🤣
Wholesome reaction, I've always loved these three movies since my childhood. These three movies always make me laugh for how wild they are with their depictions of stereotypes.
Saw all a million times. Happy new year!
I loved these movies as a young person lol.
So have I.
i love your reaction videos 🥰
🗣️ FEMOUS 📼 Turn Up Girly 🤫
Man the Rush Hour Franchise is my favorite the first movie is always a classic 💯💕
A great time!
another amazing reaction! love your edits!
24:19 This scene never gets old 😂
rush hour trilogy is one of my faves
Me too.
Just Subbed to the Channel after seeing this Angie! One of the best buddy cop movies ever! Hilarity all throughout! Chris & Jackie rocked it! The Bloopers in the Credits are hilarious! 😂😂😂
Thanks for the warm content and making people smile Ange
😂Wow your actually freakin hilarious, I just randomly stumbled across this video 👌
Loved your reaction. Would really love it if you do the other 2 movies too. They are also very funny. Also Happy New Year!
Gurl just found your channel from the monsters vs aliens video and will now proceed to subscribe and binge all your vids 😂❤️
Such an iconic film! hahaha!! Hoping you continue the series!
Is it actually “do you want any fives with that?” I always thought he said “do you want any fries with that” and that’s what always made me laugh 😂
fantastic reaction as always. ive really enjoyed your channel as of late and was wondering about a particular reaction that you did to the flash pilot episode. do you have any plans on finishing maybe at least the first season?
I have to say that I really love how they portray the women in this trilogy. They’re pretty but they’re also tough and smart and badass
Best comedy ( trilogy ) ever made. No contest. :)
Great reaction, and your hilarious and adorable 💜
Commenting prior to seeing my first video of you…. So far so good. I like the vibes….. helping the algorithm.
I watch this couple weeks ago too, it is so good
I don’t know what you talking about all these jokes age like fine wine
Man this is my favorite action comedy! Great reaction
If you want something similar to this movie, check out Shanghai Noon and the sequel Shanghai Knights. It's basically Rush Hour (including Jackie Chan starring) but in the wild west instead of modern day.
I wa s literally thinking to myself earlier this morning about wanting you to react to this 😂
Happy New Year 2023 Angelina🍻🎆🎊 love all your videos this 2022 Now new ones 2023 and I really love your reaction to rush hour one don't forget to watch two and three next !!!
That little girl is now 38 years old!!! wow time flies...
Jackie Chan does all his own stunts too. If you didn’t know, I’ve seen a video of him saying that he can’t get an insurance company to give him insurance because they say he’s too big of a risk lol and also he used to be one of Bruce Lee’s students for real a while before he passed away
"panda express is a disgrace.."
*me eating panda express.* 😐
