the version done by London Symphonic done for the 10th anniversary is almost identical to the version done by the London Philharmonic way back in 2013 apart from one very crucial detail; the crescendo at 4:00 (the single most important bit of the tune) is so much more powerful in this version.
I absolutely love this performance, but I don't know, there is just something so special about the original soundtrack itself, maybe it's the lesser definition in sound that takes me back to the golden years of playing Skyrim for the first time, but that original soundtrack is just so magical.
It's the same piece, yes, but you are also correct. I think it's the *MUDCRABS 🦀* that spoil the relaxation that is missing in this performance! LOOOOOL
This has the power of a John Williams Star Wars composition. Particularly reminds me of the composition in A New Hope, where Luke looks off into the many moons in the distant sky, knowing his destiny will one day span the breadth of the universe. This is captured in Skyrim when the night falls, Secunda and Masser among the stars illuminating your path.
I was watching this concert on a Discord call with some friends of mine. Let's say the following week's topic was how much I cried listening to Far Horizons in this version
This soundtrack still sends shivers down my spine its beautiful and is so much skyrim. The first time i heard it way back when it first came out on the ps3 back in 2011, learning the ropes, which class to play etc, "do you get to the cloud district very often... o what am i saying of course you don't...this man is so irritating... then this hits...This has to be one of the best pieces of music for any game. I could listen to this all day
If i get accepted into heaven this is what I want playing when I enter
Skyrim has one of the best all around soundtracks of any video game. Each and every piece is top tier but this one is the peak
Far horizons is so nostalgic to wandering Skyrim. Anyone who has even a mild inclination for music appreciates the composure of this piece
Skyrim and The Witcher 3 have the best soundtracks of all time. This one is my top favorite.
The piano solo is gorgeous
Every time I hear it my eyes start to sweat if you know what I mean
Jeremy Soule is the soul of TES series. Without him, TES isn’t TES.
Just a shame he's a predator. Used his position and power to coerce women working for him.
3:58 this says to me. a united skyrim singing in unison. united, free...
This is my favourite piece :’))

Funny enough it is in the same key. G minor.... uses the same tones and intervals, both give me chills
Goosebumps. Every. Single. Time.
This one is a masterpiece and is a piece of my soul ❤
I love this music and this version made me cry. Thanks for the performance.
OMFG The passion, the intensity and the pianist solo followed by the beautiful angelic choir 😮 wow just wow x
Dieser Track geht in meine Seele. 100 % so schön.
No need to find another proof that Skyrim is the best video game of all time.
>>----------------> Thank you for putting this video on RUclips.
This is the magic we read about in books 🥹 Jeremy Soule is HIM
I always cry when feeling the God's notes 😭😭😭

God I love orchestral music. It’s just gorgeous
I wish I can go somewhere that matches how I felt the first time I headed this.
Precioso 🖤⚔🎶 increible y emocionante !! Este y secunda son maravillosos !! Por eso amo a este juego ! El mejor soundtrack de todos los tiempos ❤
Just crying... how touching this is... sounds like from another dimension\world... not like this one we're in! :D
It’s from Skyrim. The world of Tamriel

This elevates it. Wow.
Es mágico como la música despierta sentimientos que ninguna otra cosa hace. I love it!
Awesome! Absolutely awesome!
Please protect Jeremy Soule.
Waw ! Waw ! Waw ! Merci !
This has the potential for a game soundtrack
Божественно играют все! ❤❤❤
They better use this for the new elder scrolls coming out
Could do without the annoying xylophone
"Annoying" xddd
you mean the bells? No xylophone in this piece
Не стоит недооценивать замысел композитора.
