Making A Coonhound - Episode 2 - Building Independence

We're back with our second episode about training coonhounds! We are not coon hunting experts but wanted to share our journey with you. We are learning every time we hit the woods whether we have the pups with us or an experienced coon dog.
About this episode:
Corey, Kelcey and Zach are back at it with the same three pups from last week. They have the goal of hunting the pups separately and helping to build independence. Hunts never go as planned as the pups rig one in the box on the way to the first drop. You always have to take the opportunity to put a pup out on a hot coon! Charlee and Jenny do their best to tree one while River Bank is cut a mile away. A few coons are treed and we learned a lot about our pups. We also discuss coon hunting feed times and how they factor into your hunt as well as showing how useful a thermal can be when coon hunting and especially training pups. I just got my first hound and am interested in training him to tree coons but I've only ever went a couple times with my friend and his dad when i was a young boy any tips on how to start training him

Should of showed starting the pup.
This is showing a hound already running and treeing. As apposed to making a hound. .
Where is the obedience training.
How about drags. . Or scent training.
