Awesome video. I’ve been watching for a long time. I’m thinking about getting some cameras to film some of my pleasure hunts for keep sake. You have brought this sport into a great light with your editing skills so it highlights the most important aspects of this. Great job
The judge was already on his way to a dog that had been declared treed ahead of the other one. He listened and took his call. He can’t wait and ignore the dog that’s already treed because someone else wants to stop and listen.
Is it only about the owner to you? If thats all that matters you're telling on yourself on what type of person you are. Thanks for sharing with us Jack.
Not sure what it matters as to who owns the dog, but don't ever start field trialing beagles with AKC- SPO trials. My old kennel partner and I handled Big Males(15" beagles) together and then since Males and females don't run the same day, I handled 3 or 4 of the 15" females usually and my buddy handled the 13" females. Anyway, in 15" Males we handled was all from older gentleman or rich people that just wanted a FC so they can stud them out. We would usually take Between 3-5 of our own dogs each and then 10-12 for other owners. But we didn't just haul them to F trials, we condition them to either get them in shape or maintain by running them at least 4 nights ( 2-4 hours each time) , but didn't just hunt them in one big pack... We would usually run in packs of 3-4 dogs at least twice a week and then the other nights , we'd swapped them out to either solo or brace them.We charged $100 per week and a bag of dog food, then $100 per dog per trial( but had to take the, $15-$20 entry out of that. Then $100
Congratulations on all the dogs and handlers on a great and enjoyable hunt!! Thanks for sharing and keep them coming.
Thank you

I use to go to the coon hunters club in Owinsville in Ohio growing up with my Dad. It was heaven to me as a young boy.
Same here brother. Except with my papaw. Reminds me of the best times of my life watching these videos
I enjoyed the hunt for really good dog's.

Why’d they withdrawal if they were already there?
Because they were at a score difference they felt they couldn’t overcome with the amount of time left

I thought the dogs had to be pure bred to be able to hunt in a UKC hunt. The one guy had to Walker and s bluetick cross
No, you can register cross breed dogs and hunt them

@@stark_outdoorsimo it's like the rule you must find a coon... owning the dog is just as simple
@@stark_outdoors lol it’s about your dog. You’re telling what kind of person you are 🖕🏿
Wdym who was the real owner of the dog? What are some of the barriers for entry to this sport?
