Thanks. I took out the two screws and the whole units seemed stuck. I found your video and was able to see how the unit popped out. Your video made me fell confident to pop the taillight unit out and switch out the lights. Thanks.
You may need to remove the strut to gain access to the screw on the taillight if it's in the way. You should be able to remove it as shown in the video.
The 09 trailblazer changed it up. Instead of needing a Phillips screwdriver for the inner and outer screws, you now need a small Allen wrench for the three inner screws.

The brake light on your 2006 Buick Rainier is different than the brake light shown in this video. We currently to not carry one that fits your vehicle. Thank you for visiting us on RUclips. 1aauto.com 888-844-3393
Okay, so my Chevy Trailblazer has three rear bulbs on each of the two rear lights. The bottom bulb on each side is clear lens for reverse/back-up. The top two on each side are both red. They are both supposed to come on soft for tail lights and bright for braking. All work fine on the right side but all BUT the tail lights come on on the left side. If the bulb was bad the brake lights wouldn't work because it's the same bulb right? And even if it is a different filament that lights for tail lights vs. brake lights (even though both use the same two bulbs) most likely BOTH bulbs probably didn't happen to go out on the left side at the same time -- so is it the left tail light fuse? Or is there one fuse that controls both tail lights and since the right is working it can't be the fuse?
+SWLinPHX Thanks for your inquiry. There could be multiple reasons why you're having this particular problem. We suggest taking your vehicle to a nearby reputable shop to identify the cause. Thanks for checking us out!
LOL, it turns out it was indeed just one filament in that bulb. What threw me into thinking that the top two bulbs both went on for tail light and brake light is that when I looked in I saw two bulbs lit, but it turns out I was seeing the reflection of the top on in the lens's mirror, duh. I spent an extra couple hours researching fuses and wiring and all just because of that. Argh!
Good afternoon,My tail light has a bullet through it, but it still works. My only issue is it keep falling out or won't stay in place.Should I just buy some new screws or replace something else?
You may want to see if the lens or housing is cracked. We carry the replacement taillights shown in this video on our website. We also offer free shipping on them. Here's a link to them if you would like to check them out. goo.gl/QLM7UJ
1A Auto Parts thanks so much for this video it really helped me out. I needed something to hold the screws in the trunk in place. And I got that done right before dark.
I just did this on my trailblazer and my 3 philips screws were stripped, where could I find replacement screws, I tried some from my toolbox but they did not fit in the new tailight holes

Watched the video, walked outside aaaaaaaaaand......my '04 trailblazer has hex screws instead of phillips and I don't have an appropriate nut driver for it lol.
I have an 03 trailblazer and my rear tail light (driver side) does not light up as much as my passenger side, all the light bulbs are the same. what can the problem be ?
Thank you for watching. You may have a ground issue. If there is a bad connection at the ground then it would use up some of the electricity which means the bulb wont use the full amount resulting in a dim bulb. Hope this helps! 888-844-3393
Thanks for watching Joe! If you look closely when i first pull the circuit board out i flip it to show the camera. So when putting it back in i had to flip again, to have the connector at the top of the assembly. When i pull it out and show the back of the assemblies the connector is at the top of the light. And when i put it back after flipping it the connector ends up back at the top. 1aauto.com

How much empty space is behind the housing. Trying to figure out if there's enough space to install a hideaway strobe

Would the taillight assembly of a trailblazer fit a 2006 Buick Rainier.?
How do you change a tail light on a chevy blazer 2002 when the hydrolic arm is in the way of the light cover lower screw?
thank u ! I needed help
What if the connector does not unconnect can you still undo the other screws and replace the lightbulb?
+youngspadez08 Thanks for watching. You can still remove all the screws, but you will not be able to reconnect the new tail light. 1aauto.com

Not that it matters to me, but why did you flip it around?
