My first Mustang was a white 90 GT auto. Than had 4 more fox body. they all been stripped apart for modifications to go fast. Now these days I can definitely can appreciate all the little things like trims, molding, interiors etc.
@joelbreuker981 I had gotten to the point this summer where I just wanted to get this trim upgrade done so I just did it and took a few stills. Video takes quite a bit of extra time. I am pretty happy with the result and have taken it to a few shows, although parts of the car are not really ready for that, like under the hood. There are a couple more videos in this series that I did film and await processing though - tape stripe replacement, door handle, and door lock replacement specifically. Thanks for watching!
The problem with the Mustang logo is that it is actually in or behind the glass, not an outside decal. There are ebay guys who sell non-licensed repro decals, but they never look quite right. If you want to get a factory appearing job, you need to do a restoration of the quarter windows like I did. If you watch this video it will help you with that, or at least understanding what you are up against: ruclips.net/video/DiXrR43i5MI/видео.html
I think it is probably a bad idea, even if they just need paint, though you MIGHT get away with a top notch mask job and paint. The issue you are going to run into is damaging the car when sanding the filler.
There are molding covers you can get but I don’t think they look great. The moldings are tightly integrated to the glass so it isn’t that easy to replace them - you need to do the whole assembly.

Looks great! I have the exact same car. Bought it brand new. These items are on my to do list. Keep the videos coming.

Where did you buy this quarter window replacement? LMR has it but it does not have the mustang decal on it.

Do you think it's possible to redo quarter windows trim without removing?

Can the moldings only be replaced on the car? My previous owner painted them with plastidip?

You have to circle the studs in the back of quarter window with butyl tape, they will leak.
Good feedback.
