Lynda Carter started it, but Gal raised the bar so high I don't think anyone will ever equal her performance. Loved this movie!
Gal gadot was litterally only one who looked like wonder woman and could acted. There was no one against for the role. So of course she do well.

@@weavercs4014 Still there wasn't really any one else who look close to wonderwoman. Gal gadot wasn't even a good wonderwoman, she acted as if she was a model. And she was slim, wonderwoman is bolder. So gal gadot was the only choice. Any other actor would of needed a cgi face and body to be wonderwoman.
@@LXW-Arts makeup and CGI are what make most actors and actresses look good in their roles...
She really showed us how to be hero in a time when being a hero means nothing more than joking around and fighting the cliche bad guy. This movie deserved all it's praise.

Perfect ending to a perfect film in my opinion. In the tradition of all the great superhero films, the film closes on the perfect ending shot, building around the main musical theme with the final lines capturing the story's message. Just perfect!
The moment she touches Steve picture it hits you deep in your heart..

Steve Trevor made her fall in love with a human and also taught her the real meaning of heroism. At first, it seems like nothing is lacking 'bout Diana's motive - she used to want and save the world. But when all the people she shields all died, wrath ignited her heart. But then she remembered Steve's last words - "it's not about deserve, it's about what you believe." This really inspired me, though I'm against nationalism, but as a teacher - when I got separated from my beloved pupils. I pursued to continue despite the sadness and knowing that people don't always stay - "and this is my mission now, forever."

Yes, that's the kind of super hero movie I love, but only a few made me feel this way. I like this character, thou gh she's not one of my favorite super heroes. But the film did make me feel like a kid again. And I also left the theatre with tears wanting to get out.

This was such a great movie! The more time goes on the more I see it will be a classic. They struggle to get superhero origin stories right, this was one of the best. Writing, directing, acting all on point. WW84 didn't live up to the bar set by this one.

It’s not every day you find a superhero movie as beautiful as this one. I would normally be sympathetic towards the death of a lover and the loss of innocence of the hero. But I was willing to make an exception because we were already introduced to Diana in Batman V Superman. Two years later, Wonder Woman still amazes me.
Films like that makes me feel something I can not describe. It’s so heartwarming and emotional!
The ending scene reminds me of the 2009 animated film of the same name

It's a shame Aquaman didn't have anything as memorable as this
Elfman hacked it up big time in Justice League. Not that he had much to work with, but that score was atrocious.

2:17 For some reason alot of people must've missed this part of the movie cause they think she can't fly but this part says otherwise
In this movie, she can't fly. For that reason, in the trailer of the second movie we se her using her lasso to ride lightnings or running after the helicopter and using her lasso to go for it. If she could fly those scenes are unnecesary. This movie is full of symbols and metaphores that most people still don't catch. She jump at the end because she complete a full circle of her story and start a new one. It is a spiral of evolution. The first thing she does at beggining of the story is to jump into the void and her mother catch her, so she does it again at the end. It is an ancient symbol.
@@soundlight3569 Why won't DC let her fly? She has to fly eventually, Wonder Woman not flying is like Spiderman without his web slinging or Wolverine without his healing factor. WW84 obviously takes place in 1984 the Justice League movie takes place in modern day, so this tells me that she dosent fly by the of the 84 movie neither. Smh
@@Young_Dab yes, I think it will be that way. If DC reboot this character, she will fly, but I think not in this trilogy. This is a very personal version of Patty Jenkins and I think she want the character stay more relatable, more human. In fact, the first movie is not just what it seems, it is much more complex. PJ did an incredible job telling a secondary story embedded into the main one. She tells the story using symbols, so the meaning of the scenes change if you discover and understand the symbols. Maybe someday she will explain what she did, but still not. This is the reason why she said that the second movie is not a sequel of the first and many people not understand why she said that. I think WW will be less powerful that expected after the end of the first movie, but it is because those powers are symbols and metaphores.
@@soundlight3569 the struggle in 1984 was the fact that she was losing her powers, hence why she needed to run and lasso things. Once she got them back after renouncing her wish she started running then launched herself and eventually took to flight. In 2017 it looks like she barely puts any effort in a jump but then goes insanely out and up and shes only looking out and up. Shes shown that she can leave the ground on her own when fighting ares, which was also the moment she gained hella power.Plus Zach even said she flies, he explained it in an interview I read but I forget his whole explanation. I think he said her flying wasn't needed in the scenes she was in BvS, and in Wonder Woman she was still figuring out her powers and even in 1984 she says she toying with her godly powers like hiding the jet. So I guess the attempt was to show us how she harnesses her powers but since we're so used to seeing her fly in comic and cartoons we probably assumed it would be more important and sooner in her story. Had Zach continued his story we would've seen Wonder Woman become the God of War and probably access her full power or something. But Warner Bros ruined the plan and still doesn't really have one. So I hope we get to see a future with her flying more. But until then I guess we just have the short lil teases we get in the movies

Fun facts: There are no opening credits at all, except for the Warner Bros. Pictures, RatPac-Dune Entertainment and DC Comics logos, and the film title doesn't appear at all until 2 hours and 12 minutes late at the end of the main on end sequence.

The most controversial part of the movie is at 2:27 ...is she floating on air currents or is she leaping really far?? In her next movie, it would really be nice if they can clearly illustrate how Wonder Woman get from point A to point B & what does her transformation look like when she change from Diana to Wonder Woman...

The ending photo reveal was handled so damn perfect. They show it to you in the beginning and you have no idea wtf is going on in the photo. You get a snippet of when the photo was captured in the middle of the movie and you think, oh hey, that's from the beginning of the movie! Cool! Then at the end they show it again and it all make sense. That's a flawless victory right there.
